On one hand, Cats with a neat Magic System, on the other, Dinosaurs. I am torn and don't want to multi-vote

Felines and Dromaeids in the lead.
So looks like we'll be carnivores, and either have a divided population or a very small one.
We will be in a desert region regardless, seeing as the dinos used to be camels and the cats live in the desert too, seemingly mostly along the coast. Thus the dinos are probably around some oasis.
We will either have star based time magic or a bunch of cunning deal makers.
Thestrals are in slot 3, I'm guessing they are up in the mountains that create the desert and on the other side is a jungle filled with zebras seeing as how the thestrals used to be zebras.
Pretty good idea on where 4 of the main players are in regards to each other from description alone.

Mind, Astromancy is distinct from Chronomancy. The Dromaeids manipulate Fate, not Time, which often manifests as convoluted series of events rather than immediate affects... Except when a star is pulled from the heavens to act as a strategic weapon.
Hmm. Wonder if there would be any conflict with Celestia who has sun magic iirc and the Dinos who have star magic. Could be interesting.

And in episode 1 part of the Nightmare Moon prophecy was that the stars would free her iirc.
At least here, Celestia does not "control the sun". She is the princess of the Day. Which is an important distinction to make.

If dappr is gonna be used for the dinos then I feel like there's an obligation for at least one or more to show up wearing a top hat and monocle.
...Wouldn't Luna be the more relevant one what with the night being more her's so by extension stars?

Personally, I already had my fill of dinos thanks to the several WHF Lizardmen quests on this site. Haven't seen anything involving a civilization of cats or bats though.

Yeah, I wouldn't call it a continuation either. For all that the Griffons and Pals are in the world and on roughly the same tracks as the previous game the mechanics are going to be shifted a bit.
