  • [X] Plan: Setting Up Shop
    --[x] Economic
-[x] Tar Pit Rakers: The tar seeps are under exploited. By using sets of weighted boards to haul back entire piles at once and increasing the number of handcarts to match the new production, much more of the smelly stuff can be brought back to waterproof various things. (Base DC 10; Stewardship)
    --[x] Government
-[x] Governing Campus: While there is a building set aside for meetings an inordinate amount of time is spent moving between the houses of different members of the government during the course of the day. Setting up a new district solely for the business of governing will see dramatic savings of time. (DC 10; Stewardship)
    --[x] Military
-[x] Wave Watch: While the fishertails keep an eye out for each other, an easy first step for a combat force would be to set aside some boats and crews for the express purpose of the rescue of imperiled boats from accidents or aquatic creatures. (Base DC 10; Martial, Diplomacy).
    --[x] Personal
-[x] Hunting Talent: Effectively all of your administration was brought in under your predecessor. Thus, finding people you can trust to manage a section of your efforts in your stead will take a personal touch. (Base DC 50; Diplomacy, Stewardship)
    [X] little foundations
    -[x] Bigger Boats
    -[x] A Regular Militia
    -[x] Governing Campus

I remember from last quest that we potentially could turn our character in to a alicorn equivalent of our race. while I don't think we will get to it for a very long while, if at all, I would like to ask if the alicorn Equivalent for the Dromaeids would be lesser spirits (think discord but less powerful and focused on a diffrent domain.)?

I think Griffins would have ascended to minor deity from gathering enough belief and worshippers.

Ponies are weird in that they gain the worshippers and belief after ascending because they can jumpstart themselves with acts of great Harmony.
Or maybe looking at it this way ponies ascend with Harmony, so maybe griffins ascend with Freedom?

The Japanese dragon ruler was sponsored into his state by 2 dragon deities as I recall.

So that's kinda 3 options that may be open to us.
Ascend with something like a great act of Fate, or the hopes of our people.
Sponsored by Chaos in the absence of Discord.
Or we somehow use the stars themselves to ascend.

That would be... Eh, sure, why not.

The equivalent would be putting a Constellation of that individual in the skies. Rather than just a memorial like in Greek mythology it provides actual, tangible power. As well as indelibly marking reality with your presence.

Good thing we start with a powerful star Boon then. We can work on that over a few decades. XD

The constellation idea makes sense considering our magic's astrology/divination theme. Maybe it could be a thing where our version of saints could occasionally be called to down to earth to give advice, kinda like that one scene in Lion King where Simba's dead father appears as a giant spirit in the night sky.

Welp, this seems to have stalled.

Though now that I'm rereading the original again, with the Fallout show I wonder if anyone would want to write a quest or story based on this Fallout Omake.

It would be something I could see people enjoying reading.
