[X] Thestrals

I gotta go with Thestrals, but I like that zebras were included in the list. Kinda sad, no deer, or preytons. MLP:FiM has a bunch of races.

so some weird dinosaur/camel hybrid?
Dromaeids are like the raptors from jurrasic park, only think of them more like the fossil bird pokemon Archen. That's a dromaeid, though, I'd say they're similar to the ancestor of the chicken, or the ancestor to the swan with dinosaur transistion/aesthetic.

The Dromaeids blurb remind me of the lizardmen from warhammer fantasy. So maybe some Olmec influence, rather than Aztec?

@DaLintyGuy clarification, are Thestrals actually "Bat-Ponies", or something else?
Thestrals are "bat ponies", yes, though are technically "related" to Zebras rather than the Equestrians. Being the result of Discord doing His Thing of screwing over a bunch of people for the funni.

As for how vampiric they are, not much. That's more a Zebra thing, and Yeti to a lesser degree. Umbramancy can do some mental effects but Absence is not conducive to making undead.

Thanks for clarifying.

AH, right, other question before I forget.

Are you going to include pics like the source quest or are you going to use none? I'm curious.

I attempted to find dromaeosaur images.

Just because I find them an amazing piece of magical worldbuilding, swear toads are going to be a common pest in this game. Though a common and more dangerous problem might be shorks. Frog/shark critters who have managed to beat the food chain and become a recurring threat to even civilized people.

[X] Minotaurs

Raise eyebrow, not sticking to MLP:FiM fauna?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I like the social and magical aspects of the cats.

Thestrals are so nifty because they can work night shifts which gives them a huge boost if they incorporate a diurnal species.

And dinosaurs are dinosaurs.
