That was everything I hoped for out of a quest. A really satisfying ending, for sure.

...
A Percy Jackson Camp Quest, I mean. A Quest Quest, considering the forum this story is in.

No, it was a different god, one who might find it ironic."

I'd say hephaestus, but he's way too nice in PJO for me to want to point the finger at him. Can't decide if this is an attempt to show that even the nice gods are still aseholes sometimes, or if Ares is just going for some stretch irony.

Well, our marriage didn't start out in the best place. I mean honestly, who proposes by kidnapping a girl and forcing her to stay at your house

Is this what you're going for as the story, or is persephone just telling her view of things? Because some myths tell the story in a way that it's a lot less clear cut of Hades kidnapping her.

So for this i wanna finish our archery skill to intermediate and get some progress to war-scythe, if we can make a wooden warscythe made out of concepts we could get something really insane, enhance the shaft with Durability, the blade with Cutting and the point of the blade with Piercing to make a weapon stronger than Celestial Bronze.
Also boosting mythology knowledge since its so useful when doing quests or figuring out an opponents abilities.

-[X][Allocate Ability Exp] A Concept
--[X][Allocate Ability Exp] Purity (11/15) +4

This is one is to get started on our Macro-Chlorokinesis, we gonna need it if we start facing bigger badder monsters, need a really big vine to hold down a hydra. Also finishing off Purity since its the concept that is closest to completion and it could be very useful against curses and other such magic.

[X][Training] Practice with your War-scythe on your own.

Yeah am just voting for the stuff that boosts our combat skills on this, want that Macro-Chlorokinesis, move a whole forest bitches. Other stuff might be worth but am a combat focused kinda planner today.

Career paths appeals to me more than college since we have advantages that could get us a very good future without needing higher education, and I will never say no to more Blossom

Aww, we didn't ask whether we can call her sis...

Any particular reason we didn't tell Persephone that one of our sisters can do conceptual magic as well? Willow learned to apply Durability, after all.

BTW, since we'll likely address the "College?" question next update... maybe we should go for a few online correspondence courses? Not a full college workload, we can do that after the war.
Sam doesn't need to be ready for professional life before he's even 18, right now I think he should focus on having a childhood and the mystical side of his life.

As for martial arts and scythe wielding... Sam is a 10 year old child, it'll be years until melee combat is a viable option. Right now, even if an enemy is right in front of us, it would still be more tactically sound to use plants to protect Sam and restrain them. We should wait until puberty hits before starting rigorous physical training.

War-scythe self-study without a sparring partner is also far less efficient than if we did it at camp Half-blood.

Can't just blanket sweep with him being a nice person in general...nice for a greek god isn't necessarily human nice either.

Keep in mind that Aphrodite is married to him, and she flagrantly cheats on him.
Perhaps something about the father triggered him, perhaps she absentmindedly bragged about having an awesome daughter not from him, or perhaps he simply thought adversity could help her grow beyond being one of Aphrodite's many brainless bimbo archetype kids.

I'd imagine he would regret it if he actually met her.

AFAIK in Percy Jackson, they don't do the whole "Ambiguity of Myth" thing and just stick with one version of the myth. In this case, I just went with what was on the wiki (even though it's inaccurate on details) because I didn't want to spend too much time on it.
