As a minor grammatical note, you seem to often use commas to string together run-on sentences, rather than using a fuller stop with periods or semicolons. I'll point some examples out if I get the time.

Something I've noticed is that neither Stella nor Sable have any form of ranged attack, we're both exclusively CQC fighters (unarmed and dagger styles). While there are other Huntsmen and Huntresses who also lack ranged options (Fox and Yatsuhashi most relevantly), they usually have teammates who can cover for them in that niche.
Even though Sable having wings and the Thorn being the equivalent of a master Plant Dust caster helps to extend our reach, I imagine that flying and other long range enemies will be annoying for us. So I was just curious if The Huntress would've developed a weapon of some kind to address that. Either throwing weapons (Sailor Moon style boomerang tiara?), actual Dust casting, or a firearm that's just a supplement to our martial arts like Yang and Mercury.
Or maybe that's something we can explore later, when someone like Ruby notices our unusual choice to go completely weaponless. I'd laugh if we work with her to make ourselves something like Bayonetta's gun high heels.
Am on the corrections for the update (thanks Naan!), just want to precise:
This specific one's turn of phrase is deliberate, reference to how the shifting mound says that all of her is changing at one point when you meet her (the part when she talks about contradictions.).
I see. It's just that you used both "changing" and "same" twice in the same sentence, and using the same words in quick repetition like that is generally something to avoid through the use of synonyms. If that middle part of the sentence is the important turn of phrase, then you could change the outside instances of "everchanging" and "same time" instead.

In regards to being strictly CQC fighters, it's another interesting detail for their "background" as defenders of an isolated village. Running out of ammo would be a death sentence, even if they had the capability to make more.
edit: And also the necessity for the stuff to do more than maintain guns. If any outlying isolated village has more than a basic bitch forge I'll eat my slippers.
Some of the thing there is that neither the Princess nor the Long Quiet ever use a ranged weapon in their origin.
Though it is possible that continued exposure to Huntsmen may cause the Princess to spontaneously develop firearms proficiency and a hidden gun.
But on the other hand, she does also just always have the option of going 'forget this, ALL THE BLADES' and going Razor on something. Princess doesn't really need a ranged weapon unless she gets tired of walking over to her opponent to stab them.

See thats the funny thing about princess if we make them doubt that we "don't" have a gun we can pull one from behind our back and shoot them, just like the intro to Razor but its Stella pulling more and more guns from increasingly improbable places, because they didn't check that we did have a gun there.
Plus as Yang shows Guns are just for extra damage for when people are already in stabbingPunching distance

That is why I mentioned throwing weapons and raw Dust casting (I guess bow and arrows would also work for that, but that's even more of a spontaneous departure from the Princess' previous m.o.). This is Remnant though, what they can accomplish with a basic bitch forge goes way farther than what we can do in the real world. An isolated village blacksmith was able to completely work over Crocea Mors' mechashift to give Jaune his greatsword upgrade after all, and making their version of gunpowder is as simple as grinding down Dust crystals.
Unless they're flying enemies that also shoot stuff, then she definitely needs them for range so she can actually do anything to them. Nevermores, Lancers, Manticores, etc.

Based on some of the Princess' other antics, the plan there is probably 'wait for a spike to get lodged in shoulder, pull it out, hurl it back at annoying flying thing hard enough to overpenetrate and kill the one behind it.' Princess doesn't really care about any injury that isn't a direct hit to the heart and is more than willing to take weapon donations.
That, or turn into the Specter, which can probably fly, and haunt them to death.
[X] You will be a counselor in the school, helping with problems both for teams in general and students in particular.

I think the -20% vote count for the semblances option just made it even more unpopular to people. It would be cool for her to train people's semblances, but if Stella realllly wants to understand people she can do that as a counselor. Also.. who in here doesn't want to read psychological stuff? It's not that common in fiction for the protag to be a counselor, but there's a dime a dozen about combat stuff.
I assume that Ozpin only looked at Stella's many faces because her lower parts were a bunch of body parts? Also OP seems to have hinted or outright confirmed that the God of Faunus' actions led to the creation of The Long Quiet and The Shifting Mound. It's interesting that the latter are so much bigger and more powerful from Oz's perspective though.
Edit: Would Stella be able to notice that something's off about Mercury, Emerald, or Cinder if they act like students? Maybe by sensing an overly malicious impression towards students, or their figurative masks.

Sable's blade comes back when he wants it (it is part of him), so he just throw it at full force. Stella just takes the closest thing she can yeet (including small Grimm), and send that to the annoyance.
Also, Stranger can have weapons, so there is that.

The fact that combat is everywhere is part of why I removed the possibility of being an unarmed combat teacher, as it is too close for what I hoped.
Semblance being even less popular is an expected result, it didn't gain that much traction individually before so is just there to make sure if there is a strong movement for it.
It's because she's completely naked. Including her multitudes of bodies.
If you don't know what the Shifting mound looks like, I won't post a pic because she's naked and I don't want to take risk, but search for *slay the princess shifting mound* on google and you should get her.

Probably not by that, no, but possibly by way of their unusual perceptions of her. If they perceive her as a threat to their secrecy, then that would itself likely make her so.
Stella, having been gifted The Thorn by her Darling Sable, has by definition been The Witch. It would be entirely likely for her to see The Witch in Cinder, what with her whole Too Betrayed To Trust thing, but the reaction might depend on who Stella is in that moment.
Alright, friends. When catching up on this Quest late December, I thought to myself that just listing the Princess forms does not really get their connections across. So I used my art practice time to make a diagram.
Then I thought to myself that just the names and connectors would look a little lonely. And then I got carried away.
Either way, here is my little gift to this Thread:

The connectors are full of underrated graphic design choices, tbh. Jagged zigzag to the Razor, or the branching roots/nerves to the Wild. The spiraling loops to the apotheosis perhaps representing stuff orbiting her? And the flowchart shapes to the Stranger - I dunno what they're supposed to mean other than that she has a weird condition (never enter the cabin), but they sure are neat. Also the gray lines around everything - the Long Quiet bounding it all up?

Good to hear that those are appreciated. For the Tower-Apotheosis connection, I was thinking more a succession of halos in the abstract.
It is a little amusing that the Thorn turned out the best out of the lot, at least in my own opinion. Perhaps her route being my personal favourite of the lot translated into the drawing somehow.

Man, so close, I was at the edge of my seat for all of it.
With no great surprise, you are going to herd cats help Huntsmen and Huntresses mentally.
I'm going to use the week to work on what will happen next, as you are going to reach *canon* soon as far as votes come. I'm going to have another mini arc for set during the rest of the current one to bridge things, then you should officially teach.
Hey, I thought about a different vote for at least half a minute.
Also I was on a Hozier binge the other day and Someone New struck me as having Princess/Quiet vibes, depending on interpretation. So, y'know, if you're into that sort of thing, there you go
You know, I am beginning to think I am awful at keeping a schedule, I tend to post in advance.
[X] You will be a counselor in the school, helping with problems both for teams in general and students in particular.
During the rest of the year before you officially join Beacon, you get several lessons on hiding your magic from Ozpin. He explains that while the ability is extremely rare now, there are still others than him that can see it. Between your love's inherent affinity for restraints and your adaptability, you take to it like a fish to water and are now at no risks of accidental revelations.
Your new status is also seen by team CFVY, who end up asking you for some tutoring. In particular, Velvet seems to want to ask you something several times before restraining herself with her teammates here.
This is why you are now alone with her in a combat arena, officially to train, but you are sure she will talk quickly. She is nervously shuffling on her feet even now while you watch with a knowing look.
"Why are you still willing to teach me? You have to have seen I am cheating with my Semblance, why don't you bring it up?" She finally says.
"So that is why you were so nervous recently… but tell me, why should I be offended by you learning that fast?" You answer easily, beginning to search for how to reassure her given what you just learnt.
"Because!" This is the first time you've heard her shout, she instantly catches herself and returns to a normal volume. "Because I am not really learning, all I do is copy with my Semblance. Nothing you have taught was to me, all of it was it stealing your moves from you." She finishes sheepishly. Not wanting to look you in the eye after that confession.
"I see. You see others struggle where you excel and instead of thinking yourself superior, you fear that you are cheating…. First, let me tell you that you really are a good person, Velvet Scarlatina." She blushes at that, clearly not expecting a compliment. "Second, do you actually think that your Semblance's accomplishments are not your own?" You see her begin to open her mouth and do not let her talk. "No objections, I know you don't, you just said it. But really, why do you think so? Your Semblance is a part of you, it is not a thing attached to you. The way I see it, you have an eye for movement, and that is what fueled your ability to copy them. I do not know the details, if you want to tell them one day I'll be there, but right now, I can see that you do not steal, you learn. And if you think that your Semblance is bad… do you remember the time I showed your team the Damsel?"
"The Damsel? I am not sure what you mean?" She cocks her head in confusion.
"You know, pink dress, excited voice, literally sparkle at people. Given how you reacted at the time, I am sure you remember."
"Oh." She shivers. "That. I don't see why it is related? I can see it is your Semblance, but it isn't like it gives you skills…." She seems to come to a realization and looks at you in surprise.
You laugh a little at that. "Yes, it does give me skills. In fact, my Semblance is one that is always on and is always giving me knowledge of things I shouldn't have depending on some circumstances. If you think you are a cheater, know that I never had to learn to fight in the first place, someone thought I could so I did. I didn't even have a childhood you know, such a thing would have been difficult with the kind of person I am." And if you are giving partial information to give a wrong idea, well, Velvet doesn't have to know, right?
Wait, why is she suddenly thinking of you as a child? It may be a fleeting impression, but you definitely felt it, she thought you were far younger that you looked for a moment there. And why did the impression only stop when she told to herself: "No, Velvet, think about how Mister Vault acts with her, he wouldn't be like that if she was… but what if he didn't know? Oh god, I have to ask him! What if he doesn't know?" Ok, you don't understand why, but she is definitely panicking right now, and the more it goes the more you feel like you have to intervene before it gets too far. You are already needing to anchor yourself to not become a teenager right now. This girl really has an overactive imagination. At least you can be sure this can't stick, too many people who know you as an adult now.
"Velvet Scarlatina!" You bark in your most authoritative voice, breaking her out of her thoughts instantly. "Whatever you were thinking, I can assure you that I am not a child, and that Sable and I go back to when we were born. I am the same age as him, is that clear?" She blushes fiercely at your remark.
"You heard? I am sorry, it's just, the way you said it… it almost felt as if you were telling you were never able to be a child for a moment. I am sorry."
You make quite sure not to tell her that she is absolutely right, and that you never were a child. You were born an adult, but she doesn't need that information.
"Anyway, as I was about to say before you got this strange idea in your head: The fact that I never needed to learn to fight the same way as a normal person was actually a blessing and you should think of your Semblance as one too."
"What? But…." She begins.
"I say that because you have to remember one very important thing: you're training to be a huntress, to save people from Grimm. Trust me, when you are in the middle of a horde protecting a village, nobody cares about the fact you *cheated* to get your combat skills. All they care about is how good you are and how many enemies you can put down. This is not a popularity contest, this is a fight for survival. I know it is difficult, I know you do not believe it right now, so let me tell you this: You being a *cheater* is a blessing." You look at her, frozen in the middle of her sentence, unable to comprehend your words, and you decide to give her time to breathe. "Do not worry, this is not a thing you can change in one day. In fact, I think it would benefit us both if we took some time to regularly meet during the year. This will give me an additional way to train for my future job, and you will feel better. I'll ask Glynda if that can be arranged. I'll also advise you to talk about it to your team, they can help."
With this, you approach her gently and put a hand on her shoulder.
"You probably won't be able to learn much in that state. You should go rest a little, we'll talk more later. Ok?"
Her mind is so occupied by all these revelations she can only absently nod while beginning to leave. You watch her and go back to see your love. If there is one thing you regret about your decision to come here, it is the fact that you cannot always be by his side. You compensate with passionate nights spent hugging, but it is not the same.
The year continues, most of it only routine that you do not care about.
There are still one or two events that do stick, some things that change the course of next year and whose consequences you will continue to ponder on for a long time.
Vote:
What was the biggest event in the year? For all those votes, the others will have been proposed but not followed upon/will happen without you.
[] Ozpin has received an anonymous letter. It bears the mark of the Grimm fang and contains only a call for help with a date and a place. He wants you to go see what it is about.
[] General Iroonwood is coming to Beacon. According to Opzin, it is to visit for an atlesian student that wants to learn here. There is a mandatory psychological test Oz propose you could do for that student as a final test of your aptitudes.
[] Ozpin explained that only a handful of people know about his reincarnations. With General Iroonwood here, he has a rare occasion to have you meet several of them that aren't easy to catch normally. He asks if you want to meet with the pretext of being a new teacher he wants to introduce.
[] Ozpin got a very suspicious dossier from a student. He asks you if you can do the mandatory psychological test for him.
A/N:
Finally, canon is in sight!
More precisely, it is in the sights of a sniper rifle locked right on its head. Some of these votes can lead to you witnessing different ways it is going to be headshotted, other will lead to you doing the headshotting… some will do both.
Just as a precision: The meeting with the Ozluminati will not have you revealed to them as a god yet, way too soon. It is just a discreet way for Ozpin to give you some contacts just in case. They will know you as a teacher, that's it… for now.
Stella also decided to explain to Velvet why her Semblance doesn't make her a bad person. This is a lot of work to change. An imposter complex like that has to require some pretty big work to course correct.
Luckily for everyone, Velvet and Glynda believe you are up to the task, so you are. Cheaters for the win!
Now if only Velvet stopped getting those ideas in her head, this one would never work, too many people that knows that Stella Panoply is an adult.
