[X] "The Quest, for the Knights. A quest, for Pip." (Knights will go on the Grail Quest, while Pip will seek out some other artifact/Slay some other creature/rescue some other princess)

Doesn't she have a bunch of superpowered Knights running around? It can't be that hard to send a message to one of them and telling them to tell others to cut the shit out.

Meh grimderp I gueese we can try to fix it later.
Imma put this plain and simple, sorry to drag you into it but since it apparently still needs to be said:

Bretonnia! Within! This Quest! Is Not! Grimderp!

It Is! A Kingdom! Where A Bunch Of Frenchmen! Look At The World! See The Evil! That Preys! On Goodness! And Say:"Fuck that, I'm gonna run around protecting good, slaying that which is unholy, and I'm not gonna lose my way as I do so!"

While They! Occasionally! Fail! At It! They! Are Doing! In All! A Bang-up Job!

Peasants Are!

For The Most Part!

HAPPY!

Because! They Are Not! Shat On! By Their Lords!

In other words, a place that Sigmar looks at and goes "They fucking get it. Why couldn't my guys get it?"

Well, not all leaders are perfectly pious, and as I understand it, Grail Knights are RARE.

So there might be some oppressing going on, but probably not systematic...and more likely just neglect

Well yeah, people are people and when given power will abuse it, but at the same time it's less "Shank a dude for looking at your Pegasus" and more "Skimp on armor for MAA by buying light chain instead of heavier stuff so you can afford that badass new lance that the wenches seem to love."

It's all the beer they drink, as any real knight can tell you it dulls the senses and curdles the brain.
And in what passes for the divine realms, Gilles and Sigmar sit around complaining about what their successors have done wrong.

Sigmar always has the bigger list, but Gilles is equally depressed.

Both sort of wish they'd been born in the same epoch, as they could have done a fuckton of good work together.

Switching to this. The reasoning on the last few pages has convinced me that this option is better than just sending them off to a deathtrap and hoping they kill a decent number of orcs/beasts before they themselves die.

Wenches love lances!

Theres only so many grail knights to go around. They are few and far in between because the right mix of ability and integrity and faith is rather rare.

A Grail Knight probably spends a lot of time knocking heads together when knights cross the line, but there's always gribblies to kill.

Plus, there's a shit ton of knights.

Edit: Also, @Voikirium does Rambert have any children of age who can take up the Barony?

"Dearest husband, the hunt was successful. The person behind your father's death stand bare as day itself; more than that, so too her compatriots."

Sir Absollon
"his son died, and his rage was great. Only girls yet remain in his land, the youngest the same age as Godfrey."

Baron Rambert
"Leverage, my Husband. Leverage. Truthsprout knows his weakness, and has played him. 'Once a man becomes a father, he is never truly free.'"

Emeris
"Watch that one. His thoughts are slippery, even for one such as I."

Sir Aiden
"A simple man, with a simple wish in life: to yet make his mother and father proud. Not hard to see what ensnared him to work with her, though I doubt he truly understood it."

Sir Edgar
"His brothers, not all but many, lay dead in the bogs outside Castle Egres, or in the familial tombs. His wrath blinded him to duty."

Sir Evrard de Quenelles
"He is a warrior, bred and true. His axe cries for blood, for war, for the hunt; it is only his will that restrains it, yet restrained it is."

Pip
"He has his uses, my Lord."

Sir Mordred the Merciless
"A brute, and little else. Promised power and revenge. He shall not it have it now, I should think."

Lady Carole
"Those letters tell of your involvement. That axe was found buried a foot deep in the paddocks that contained Sir Abraham's Yeomanry's horses. Those needles and drills were to mark and maim myself and my children, that none would give us succor. Do you have any story, any tale, that could provide innocence or reasoning that would protect you? Any at all?"

Here are all of Morgyan's comments.... more thoughts in a bit.

Your forgetting Myrmidia who has the biggest list when it comes to her chosen peoples doing the exact opposite of what she wanted and tried to achieve.

Well, most of thing ARE written from Empire POV and propaganda. I suppose that's why they wrote that the Breton peasant gets shafted a lot so that their own peasants who look like freemen in comparison(Though to be honest, if one thing that Empire gets is probably having rifles and cannons, sucks that we can't get rifles and cannons though.).

I suppose its a mix, i prefer to think that peasant are happy(Mostly, i doubt Mousillon counts.) and content with their life. I wonder if we can give the peasant an equal chance to be a knight though(At least more than our neighbors.), i am a fan of having a worthy person becoming a knight and not by blood(After all, the nobles weren't nobles in the first place.).

[X] Pardon Baron Rambert, he didn't participate willingly in this treachery.
-[X] For the rest, they take the Quest, or A quest in Pip's case.

[X] "The Massif Orcal shall sharpen you. Bring me back the pelts and weapons of beast and orc, that I may know the Lady has tested you and found you worthy." (March into Massif Orcal and start killing stuff, whatever that may be.)

Give punishment and punish our clearest pain in the ass.

And both are pissed that Settra and Abhorash get to run around being awesome still even though they should be dead.
