Warcraft: Fallen Kingdoms (Old)

Rebuild Crown Guard Tower: Now that we control Crown Guard Tower it would be a good idea to rebuild it, and with Corin´s Crossing under our control it will be both easier and safer to transport the needed material, it will also let us expand the defenses in the west.
Cost: 1,500. Time: 1 Month. Chance for Success: 70% Reward: Crown Guard Tower will be better defended, Easier for patrols to the west, Outpost Upkeep becomes Tower Upkeep -1,000 Tower Upkeep.

Rebuild Eastwall Tower: Now that we control Eastwall Tower it would be a good idea to rebuild it, and with Corin´s Crossing under our control it will be both easier and safer to transport the needed material, it will also let us expand the defenses in the north.
Cost: 1,500. Time: 1 Month. Chance for Success: 70% Reward: Eastwall Tower will be better defended, Easier for patrols to the north, Outpost Upkeep becomes Tower Upkeep -1,000 Tower Upkeep.
Rebuilding both towers will let us expand our defenses, and only takes a turn each.

Send a Message - Stormwind: When it was clear that the Capital had fallen, many people thought that Lordaeron was lost and fled, the navy took as many refugees and soldiers they could carry before they fled towards Stormwind. We need those ships and troops, therefore it has been proposed that we send a messenger to Stormwind to order them home. It will be very dangerous and there is no guarantee that it will succeed, but the payoff cannot be ignored.
Cost: 0. Time: 1 Month. Chance for Success: 100% Reward: A message is sent to Stormwind.
Getting in touch with Stormwind could get us more food, but even if we don't, getting ships and troops would be a huge help. And it takes a single turn.

Fish for Everyone: There are plenty of fish in the ocean and making a fishing dock would increase your food supply, it would also let you start building boats for various purposes, of course we would need to make sure the fish is not infected with the Plague first.
Cost: 1,000. Time: 1 Month. Chance for Success: 90% Reward: A Small Dock, +500 Fishing Income.
Fish first, since Genezz confirmed that we won't drop into Large Deficit if we do it.

Study - Soil: With access to both fertile and plagued soil, the researches hopes to find something that exist in the plagued soil that doesn´t exist in regular soil, if they do it may be possible to detect the same difference in healthy and plagued humans.
Cost: 2,000. Time: 2 Month. Chance for Success: 60% Reward: Further Research with Soil, May have found a way to detect the Plague.
Gotta restart this so we can hopefully detect the Plague, and to maybe find ways to purify soil so we can do more farming.

Pray for the Fallen: It has been some time since you prayed for those that fell during the Fall of Lordaeron and you have yet to pray for those that fell during the Battle for Corin´s Crossing, maybe it is time to do so and put your mind to ease.
Cost: 0. Time: 1 Month. Chance for Success: 100% Reward: ???. Reward: +1 Reroll
DO WANT

Hora Baby!

[X]Rebuild Crown Guard Tower:
[X]Rebuild Eastwall Tower:

Can't build defences at Corin's Crossing yet. So build Defences elsewhere. Two towers for our borders, they can be done in a single turn. No need to switch over to spears just yet. And I don't want to barricade the scourge bases without us having stronger general defenses.

[X]Send a Message - Stormwind:

Integrating Light's hope will take 3 turns, better send a message to Stormwind first.

[X]Fish for Everyone:

As tempting as it is to slaughter the livestock, now is not the time to panic. Also, it won't solve our situation if we do(3 turns, Scarlet Enclave finishes in 5).

Get 1 more turn of food out of them, combined with Fishing it should offset the worst of the starvation. Slaughter the Livestock next turn.

We are currently at deficit, one tic lower people will begin starving, this is probably next turn. one tic below that, we start losing population, this is probably the turn after next turn.

[X] Study - Soil:

We need a way to detect the plague and we need it last turn.

Hmmm, I suppose building a tower at Corin's Crossing is good until we fix our food problem since we won't being doing Fill the Holes until then. And getting spears for our Defenders will improve their defensive ability greatly.

Nobody lives at Corin's Crossing at this point, and building a tower there takes 2 turns. The other two towers only take 1 turn each and improve our border defences(and force projection, it might be part of a set of upgrades that reduce the time needed for fortifying the Thondroril river).

Shifting the defenders from swords to spears will most likely give them a greater defensive rating but a lower offensive rating. I don't think it's a pure stat boost...

The two towers are a better option at this point in time...
Hey Genezz, will we fall to Large Deficit this turn if we don't do something like Slaughter Livestock or Scavenge? And if so what are the effects of it? I want to know if we should avoid hitting it at all or not.
Food Situation

Current: Deficit

Types of Food Situations:
Massive Surplus
Huge Surplus
Large Surplus
Surplus
Slight Surplus
Stable
Slight Deficit
Deficit
Large Deficit (People Begin Starving.)
Huge Deficit (Half of Population is Starving, Start losing population.)
Massive Deficit (All of Population is Starving, Rapidly lose population.)

I know people start starving at Large Deficit, I want to know what that means mechanically.

Hmmm, yea I suppose switching to spears can wait. I'll vote for both one turn tower actions.

Much obliged. If it turns out that we will drop to a Large Deficit next turn I will switch to slaughtering the livestock.

I just figure that one more turn of dairy might be worth it(though it might cause our public opinion to fall slightly).

No, you can do the fishing option first.

In the beginning, a slight penalty to a random category, if you continue be in large deficit or lower the penalty will become lower and be applied to multiple categories, this will happen gradually.

Cool, thanks.

Then Fish this turn, butcher poor moo cows next :(:p

I'm thinking Stormwind is the better choice, because it looks like they'll send us troops and ships.

Problem is there is no route that doesn't make the messengers most likely fate death. I think we need to get boats first for the message to stand any real chance of getting through.
All of them say 100% chance of success, so I don't think that's a problem, unless it's a typo.

Troops? Ships?

I think Lordaerons' intelligentsia fled to Stormwind.

Whatever Stormwind can provide is a welcome bonus of course. As are our own troops, but having our scholars, merchants and craftsmen back should benefit us greatly in the areas we need more action slots in.

Guaranteed that the messenger is sent. No guarantee of the messenger arriving.

Corin's Crossing could really use that two turn tower though. Its completely undefended for 6 turns at this rate.

Wish we could spare the quarry

It's fine mate.

There's no civvies to guard there, the ground is full of holes and there's nothing of value to find in there as far as we know.

If we lose it at this point, it won't be a big loss. So it should be a project for later.

Quarry/integration office > filling the holes. Might as well consolidate our hold on the Southern Eastern Plaguelands by rebuilding both 1 turn towers, barricading the scourge bases and fortifying the bridge over the Thondroril river, that way we'll have Stratholme truly isolated from most other scourge for at least a couple of years, meaning they will probably start getting whittled down by the Trolls...

[X] Rebuild Crown Guard Tower
[X] Spears for Scarlet Defenders

We are in a bad spot there. To better prepare our soldiers is important.

[X] Send a Message - Dalaran:

To integrate Light Hope's Chapel would be risky as long as our base is under reconstruction. Too much potential for a spy slipping in. To send a message to Stormwind is nice, but it is too far to receive any result before long. We don't have any ship, help from Stormwind can thus only come the Western Plaguelands. Better to talk to closer people. The dwarves and the mages are the best plan, and we want to be able to control weather.

[X] Fish for Everyone

Food ! We need food !

[X] Study - Soil:

We need that thing too.

We have Isilien and a research team, can we have a second slot for piety? We just have to find a good assistant for our head priest.

[X] Pray for the Fallen

I didn't have to read the invisitext to know we had to take it.

@Genezz
Given our concerns about housing, food, etc. due to the Refugees, how does Refugees becoming Low Class Citizens influence things? Does it make things easier because as citizens they can build their own homes, set up farms/fisheries/etc, and so on? Or is the difference small enough to be irrelevant, beyond the changes in our income?
