So, 5 WP and we've got this plus a weekend turn before it refreshes. Suggests we should plan on spending 2-3 WP on each, although exact choices will probably vary.

Study group with WP is a no-brainer. Train two subjects we need and get two social rolls thrown in for free? Yes please.

I would also like to start scouting out the library. While we probably aren't going to find anything yet, we're enough of a nerd that we're going to be spending a lot of time in there. More, I can see one of our ways of improving relationships being helping others find shit in there.

Now I'm a bit hesitant in throwing away a willpower but Abraham is Empire and a friend we should try to do something about it.

I do want to take another crack at Laila (she seemed friendly!), maybe see if we can call in the Madavian Assist (TM). Dude is seriously worth whatever classwork-carrying if he can help us do the talky-thing. Library is a thing we wanna start doing now so that sometime down the line we can actually get a success, same with Exploring. We need to add to our options.

idr what I voted for before but I'm voting mostly w/ the bandwagon rn. Tbh, I don't want to burn all our willpower and really don't care about Abraham enough to spend one on him.

So I've gone with Abraham given it's limited to this week, he's from the Empire like ourselves and in a similar social standing, so we should definitely try and help him. Secondly for obvious reasons, I've gone with the Study group given the bonuses it gives.

Lastly given how essential the library is, and how the DC's are to pass, I went with scouting it out twice as that way it's far more likely we can use the benefits of it come the weekend if we want to study various subjects.

I think we should deal with the Laila situation sooner rather than later. I believe that'll save us a lot of trouble in the long run.
Laila seems to have a bit of a grudge for us. The thing about grudges is that they tend to fester and grow if left unchecked. On the other hand, I believe it might still be possible to de-escalate this thing before it turns into a big feud that wastes our time and energy throughout the year.

And if it turns out we can't stop a big feud from happening, it still pays to know your enemy. It might help us anticipate Lailas's dickery before it happens, thus saving us actions in the long run.

The way I see it we only met her on the bath by chance and if we avoid her/don't piss her off much further we should be fine.
Sure it might be good to find out more about her but the chance of her knowing our action and perceiving that as a offensive move to her is too high for my liking.

@occipitallobe isn't our study group (with wp upgrade every time) a little too intense for other people? Won't they start falling out?

Abraham might only show up half the time, or Sunette might leave early. If you take Study Group twice a week every week, it might start to take its toll on the two - but if anything like that happens you'll get advance warning.

That being said, the Willpower expenditure is partly the study, and partly Ulos being 'Aw, hell no!" whenever the group tries to slow down. It's more difficult to keep studying for long periods on your own (hence the Willpower expenditure it tends to take), but if someone else is pushing for the constant study it's still hard, but you're no longer having to overcome your own procrastination and weakness to study as much as you are their enthusiasm, and the possibility of embarrassment.

Given 100% of all voters have voted for Scout out the Library, and virtually everyone has voted for Study Group and Check on Abraham, (and there's no real push for any other option - I don't see any of the 2-vote options overtaking Start Studying in the next few hours), I thought I'd get a post up.

Resolving Willpower and non-Willpower versions of votes said:
Generally speaking if I see something like this:
Action 1 - 6
Action 2 (Willpower) - 4
Action 2 - 3

I'll take the non-Willpower version of Action 2, unless it'd take all our Willpower. The reasoning here is that the majority of voters on these popular options have opted for no Willpower (which can be important - a plan might want to save Willpower for the weekend), but the majority have also opted for Action 2.

Conversely, if I see something like this:
Action 1 (Willpower) - 6
Action 2 (Willpower) - 3
Action 2 - 4

We're more likely to go with Action 2(Willpower), as the thread was going to spend a Willpower point either way and the vote was pretty close.

Lastly, if we see something like this:

Action 1 (Willpower) - 6
Action 2 (Willpower) - 1
Action 2 - 6

Despite the thread voting for Willpower over all, it's pretty clear the vast majority of voters for Action 2 don't want to use the Willpower point on that Action. While Willpower gives a buff to an Action, it can also sometimes leave Ulos open to worse consequences (for instance using Willpower to try and learn about somehow gets better results, but seems kinda creepy).

TL;DR - Don't worry about splitting votes between Willpower and non-Willpower versions of Actions. They'll be summed. If the vote is pretty close between the two I'll use other factors to decide whether we use the point or not. If it's not, we'll go with the vast majority.

Just before I get this story post a writin', the last thing I think I'd look to say is that there's no need (not that anyone has so far, but just as a precautionary measure) to order your votes timewise.

For instance, it generally makes sense for Ulos to Check on Abraham before the next Study Group, so he'll do so. Likewise, he'll Scout out the Library before he Starts Studying, because the first choice has some possibility of offering a bonus to the second.

This is generally the case. Whenever one choice could positively impact the second, it'll be taken first. Where two choices can positively impact each other, the one with greater positive impact will be taken first chronologically.
