Voices From Beyond: A Skullgirls Quest

[X] Plan: Giving a heads up:
-[X] (Voice 1) "Um...Marie how can we say this in the easiest way possible..."
-[X] (Voice 2) "Madam we must warm you that you will have some company soon. It appears we'll have to share your targets later, a fight will be upon you soon, I'm not sure how much help we'll be in a fight, so best you focus on your opponents for now."
-[X] (Voice 1) "Yeeeeeaaahh... Most likely a group of Unfriendly Ninja Nurses anytime from now is gonna come to...y'know. we suggest you either get out of here or get to a place with no bystanders."

How does this plan look?

I'll allow this, but it would be only storing people/objects in an empty world that no one but Marie can access. Creating an entire universe's worth of tools or materials etc whenever would be too powerful.

I'm fine with the Kukri's parallel dimensions, the limitations make sense and are okey, otherwise would be too broken as you said. what do you say @Shadow-86 ? Is that good for you too?

Oh, right. Let's say the Kukri World would be empty aside from food and water.
Alright we have a place to store Last Hope, hopefully Double doesn't find out that they're still alive.
There's a good amount of people in the station no matter what time of day it is. It's one end of a line between Canopolis and New Meridian, the MART, so it's one of the most-used stations in the city. It's something like the real-life Grand Central in New York City, if that's a useful comparison.
Did Marie see any place that look secluded or at least no witnesses or cameras around?

Can you add this?

"It appears we'll have to share your targets later, a fight will be upon you soon, I'm not sure how much help we'll be in a fight, so best you focus on your opponents for now."

do i add it to that one talk or add it as a separte line?

EDIT: Added to the vote plan

As of the end of the last story post, Marie's a good few miles out from the city and not on any major roads. It's pretty empty where she is. Though she is moving in the direction of the train she saw, and there will probably be more people around the train tracks, which she plans to follow until she can find a train to New Meridian she can sneak onto.

Wait I think i got something that can be separated.
"It appears we'll be having company soon Madam, and they don't look friendly to us."

Edit: After your second line.
"It appears we'll have to share more information later, not sure how we can help in a fight so best you focus on your opponents for now, but know that these people aren't part of the Medici, but are part of a organization that is to fight against Skullgirls."

Allow me to remind you that if you want to give Marie this power you still need to come up with an argument that can convince her to leave the Last Hope alive and say it to her before she's already killed them.
Aw so we need a good speech and the right words on why she should keep Last Hope alive.

So expect her to scare a few people huh.

Do we need to tell hert with this update or do we have a bit more of time?

Got anything else to add to this?

Do you want to try, cause I probably said enough for now?

You can make your argument now if you want to, but if you don't then you won't have more than another one or two updates to try before the fight starts. And if Marie starts the fight intending to kill the Last Hope, you won't be able to persuade her to be merciful before she's already killed at least one of them. After all, ninjas are weaker when they fight in groups, and the Last Hope has several of them working together.

When we give her the parallel dimension power we should refer to it as the 'time out box'. Also encourage her to use it instead of killing her opponents.
-[] (Voice 3): "We have this spare 'time out box' sitting around you could use instead. After all killing people helps the skull heart, putting them in the box doesn't."
-[] (Voice 3): "Also that good feeling you get when you kill people, that's the skull heart's fault. Good Old Pavlovian Conditioning, aka. giving a dog treats to make it do tricks. And before you ask, yes, the skull heart does think that you are a trainable bitch on a leash."

Also some quotes that we should/could feed her.
"The thing you must never trade for your heart's desire is your heart itself."
"A paladins duty is to protect the innocent, not punish the guilty."

Marie is a 13 year old kid. I refuse to have us utter the B* word anywhere were she can hear us, or any swear by that matter, gotta use another phrase please.

Also not sure Marie would know what Pavlovian means?

Glad to have another quester here to help us.

Maybe word it a better, cause I'm sure Marie wouldn't like the comparison.

"A paladins duty is to protect the innocent, not punish the guilty."
Pretty sure she knows she isn't a Paladin and she wants to get revenge on the Medici family.
But got any other quotes in mind for her to say after a win?

She has been part of the wastelands before she got to a orphanage, so i wouldn't be surprised if she knows curse words.

Yeah something to keep in mind that Skullgirls could have a lot of different stuff to earth.

True, okey so to recap what our goal is right now.

Give Mary a heads up if the group of ninja nurses coming to unalive her right now.

Try to convince her to avoid hurting civilians caught in the crossroad/if any.

Convince her to instead of killing last hope, to use this power we are gonna give her to put them k. The "time out box" instead of killing them. Also have to convince her that she could probably leave one (AKA Valentine Alive) as use her other teammates as hostages so she assist her on her revenge. Also she totally could ask one of them were the Medici are!

Marie would have trouble understanding what you said because she hasn't had a very thorough education (no insult to Hilgard, but the guy wasn't working with a lot of resources) rather than because this world uses different expressions than Earth. The worldbuilding for Skullgirls is... well, it's never been a high priority for the creators, to put it politely. So you don't need to worry much about if expressions will translate. The real problem is putting your ideas in terms that an under-educated tween can get. Marie's doing her best, but it's not easy.

We have to keep her calm as well, no need to draw attention to herself.

@Kingster want to let Marie do some breathing before we tell her of the coming Ninjas or do you want me to do it.

Convince her to instead of killing last hope, to use this power we are gonna give her to put them k. The "time out box" instead of killing them. Also have to convince her that she could probably leave one (AKA Valentine Alive) as use her other teammates as hostages so she assist her on her revenge.
We'll definitely need to word to something she can understand.

"Lady Marie this can be your first test whether you are the master of your actions or if you're a puppet to the Skullheart, would you kill these people who simply fear the skullgirl for what has happened over the years or would you imprisoned them so you can focus your revenge on your true enemies, The Medici mafia. But in the end the choice is yours to make Marie, do what you think is right."

(To much?)

Marie would have trouble understanding what you said because she hasn't had a very thorough education (no insult to Hilgard, but the guy wasn't working with a lot of resources)
He still took in many orphans and help took care of them, he's definitely a good guy either way.

The real problem is putting your ideas in terms that an under-educated tween can get. Marie's doing her best, but it's not easy.
Will we need to help teach her some stuff as well?

Maybe? Honestly intead of going with the route of "Puppet of the skullheart or being free" while a good argument to make, and soemthing we needed to tackle soo. to, I feel we could also convince her from a more personal standpoint perhaps? Combining what i said on the plan vote with that could work maybe?

Will we need to help teach her some stuff as well?
It's possible, but that'll depend on what happens in the quest. If you somehow get Marie into a situation where she needs to know particle physics, you'll need to give her a crash course. If Marie decides to investigate the Medici as part of her war against them, she can figure out a lot of how to do detective work on her own, but advice from you could help.

What like telling her to look for secret compartments in buildings the Medici family owns to see what they could be hiding.

Well hopefully we'll have a peaceful moment with Marie after the fight.

Honestly,
What do you have in mind for Marie, cause we'll need to give her a good reason to keep them alive.
Well maybe telling her that she shouldn't kill people that didn't hurt her or her family just cuase they are in the way. The ones that should pay are the Medici only, she doesn't need to just take the easy way and kill anyone that stands in her way. She needs to be better than that. Also beign a little pragmatic that maybe we coiuld help her coerce help from them to assist her on her crusade against the Medici by keeping the rest alive too?

If you allow us, we can try and help you make it easier for you to deal with people standing in your way. Heck, maybe if you keep them alive we could find a way for them to assist you with your vengeance."

How does this sound?
