Villainous Ideals Ep 2

What ever we send up bot wise needs to have a deadman switch on the AI chip.

Also we need to destroy the Cloning Bays to fulfill the deal with the Natives.
Dude. They cannot copy our bots unless they have a Science hero with the same tier of skill as us. Unlikely at best. Give them the option of having them, as they may not want to endure experiments on them, but don't require it.

Hehe, yep. Basically, the reason your bots are so capable of teamwork and have no trouble going into suicidal situations is because they really don't have an 'I'. They have at best a 'We' and more accurately they are best defined as an 'Everyone.' It's sorta like they are Geth with Hero units, but not quite like that either. Anti and Brilliance are more individualistic, but still routinely backup their systems with Director. It's a fluid system that makes it near impossible to really 'kill' a bot. The most you can do is make them lose a bit of memory.

Technically this means that you can have multiples of Anti and Brilliance, but this tends to get into individualistic problems, and makes them less 'Iconic'. Which is part of what makes them useful.

Now, before I write an update, since the prevailing plan states a song is part of it. I need one linked ;) Ares is heavy rock damnit, and he will accept no substitutes.

OK, heavy rock?

[X] Send up Ares and a bunch of bots. while Ares smashes the enemy the bots rob them blind before coming back with the teleporter. Bring all the standard looting equipment such as crowbars and stuff, as well as Acetylene Torch, and maybe even parachutes if anything is to big to fit through the teleporter. Make sure to also bring weapons to defend them self.
-[x]Have a dumbbot with a boombox loaded with Are's favorite songs and a camera transmitting back to us follow him around so we can post his actions on Youtube. With us naturally giving a giant hammy speech at the start and end of the video as well as commenting on the action.
--[x] Numbers. Send 30 dumbots and 15 bruiserbots.

-Video uploaded by Revan following the sabotage of the primary Alien carrier. This was one of the two key events that broke the Alien's will to fight.-

"Ares is the mantle of the God of War. There has never been any dispute over this. The faces might be different over the ages, the methods altered, the powers changed. But the Mantle, the sheer power inherent in this empowerment has never been in doubt. It is the ultimate embodiment of power. Athena is the beauty of war, the valor, the grace. Ares is the bloody power.

The current holder has been fighting against Athena for the past thirty years. He has fought against Eternal. He has fought against countless others. He's a massive hulking brute of a man. He barely talks. He's got scars specifically done by Athena that he refuses to let heal. By most appearances and behaviors he's a brute.

He doesn't dispute this. We've spoken some, and he specifically said to refer to him as such. Personally I believe that when one has this much power at your fingertips, you don't need to be brilliant. Just smart enough."

A boombox carried by a tiny robot is the first thing to appear on this ship. More than a few of the aliens look up as the music starts to blare across the cargo bay. A few weapons are raised, and then a shimmer of white heralds another teleportation.

The hulking form of Ares appears. His very presence causes the aliens to tremble. More than a few of them break just from him being there.

"Behold, one of the greatest villains on the planet."

The first shot fired is a cannon shot from one of the walkers. The shot impacts Ares dead center, and he skids back a foot. There is a hole in his torso, and blood spatters across the floor. The music blares, and the man grins.

"Unstoppable."

His laugh is terrifying as the hole closes up and he charges forward. This shakes out the ones remaining, and they begin to fire. The shots that hit glance off his skin. Some of them cause small divots. It doesn't even slow him down.

He grabs one with one meaty hand. Another cannon shot hits him as he lifts the alien and squeezes. The crackling sound is audible even over the video.

"Merciless."

Ares drops the body and his eyes glow with unearthly light, the mad berserk grin causing an all out rout. A few walkers try to maneuver around the fleeing people, but this just lets Ares get closer. He moves faster than something so big has a right to, and grabs ahold of one of them.

"Now this is a fun power of his. Watch the leg."

The armor is graded beyond anything currently available with human technology. It crumples like paper as he tears, ripping the leg off and crushing the rest. In his hands the leg smokes and turns red, seeming to drip with blood. He strikes out at the next walker with it, ignoring the cannon shots as one would ignore a fly. The improvised weapon rips through the cockpit of the walker.

"Ares is not a misnamer."

The last walker makes to pull back, only to be impaled with the transformed leg. It crumbles to dust as the walker slumps, but Ares is already moving again. Smashing through the doorway of the alien ship and ignoring the sudden gust of wind as the place is depressurized.

"The God of War needs not air."

The camera seems to be struggling to keep up. The only reason why it can is the absolute destruction behind the man. Like a wrecking ball. Debris and the occasional corpse as he continues.

"Only blood and battle."

The man continues onwards, smashing through the doors. Through anything really. He doesn't seem to be tiring. In fact, each attempt to stop him just seems to goad him more.

Until he smashes through a massively armored area. There is a flash of fire, and then the view shifts to outside. There, the mother-ship is in full view. A massive cylinder like construction. The explosion from it's engine is something to see, destroying the entire side of it.

It lists, and little lights fire off at various sides of it. The stability is regained, but there is now some very visible damage to it.

"Primary Engine kill. They are more robust than I thought. That should have completely skuttled it, but it just disabled it. Ares was rather annoyed when he hit the ground though. He was going for a complete kill. Yes, he survived rentry after the engine blew him out."

"Oh, and here is the best part."

In the distance there is a shimmer as something fades into view. The space station Avalon in all it's glory floats there.

"Apparently the Calvary just decided to hide until the end."

Revan appears to be rather irritated.

-- End Episode two---

Lets call that the end of this thread. I will make a new one after this, and I figure it's a good time to consolidate a few things.

You gain 3 levels. Minsuh gets 2.

There is going to be a timeskip to your 17th birthday.

Aside from the tech up, you have the option to also gain 3 alien blueprints and refine them.

I will also allow you to re-consolidate your bases and forces. Consider your budget $100,000 of material or just money. You have roughly 1,200 work hours.

You've seen what the aliens have used so far. You already have the teleporter, but pick three things that you liked and Revan will do his own slant on em.

This is gonna probably get a bit complicated so try to keep it neat please so I don't go nutty.

Tech up
[X] Mechanical Creation
[X] Large Base
[X] Dimensional Physics

This will let us build a large base in a dimensional pocket. this will let us have core base of operations that is almost untouchable.

Cloning Techknowledgy so we can finally make something for Anti and Brilliance to Upload to?

I want their power sources.

As for our levels, there are a couple of things I want. I want to put three levels into business so we can get money on a grander scale to pay for our bots and materials and bases and stuff, plus t allows us business and politic's plots. I wanna finish off mechanical creations so we can get another blueprint. I wanna do materials. I really want to do dimensional stuff. So I'm more or less fine with anything.

What I think is the best option for us is Business. Business get us more money and materials more easily, the more money and materials we have the more bots and bases we can have, and the more bot's and bases we can have the more easily do more and more plots giving us more mania to get more levels. With enough bot's we can do multiple plots at a single time.

Plus, once we get to business 4 we can buy levels with money. At that level we can make an insane amount of money from our businesses, plus with all our money I can think of some pretty devious criminal plots.

[x] 3 levels into buisness

Those ECM grenades were pretty brutal if the fight with Anti was any indication, they could be useful in our hands. Not to mention allow us to create counter measures for our bots.

Tech up
[x] Material Manipulations
[x] Material Manipulations
[x] Ritualism

Alien blueprints
1. Laser Weaponry
2. Armor/materials tech
3. Power sources

Sorry rather than tech, I should have mentioned skills, Like Business, that we have rank 0 in and thus not show up on the front page
There are a LOT of things, and even more that I can make. If you want something please feel free to just ask and I can whip something up.

First Levels for Revan
[X] 3 into Business
If applicaple get Minsuh to develop
[X] Magic 4/4
[X] Seduction 3/4
Bases and Forces
TBA
Plans
[X]Set up two shell corporations if possible, the first being one to provide home security {cameras, motions sensors, and so on} and to start construction aid,
---We need real people for this
---We need the city to be in a good condition if we want to work in it
Budget
TBA
Tech
[x] Cloning
[x] Communications.
[x] Artificial Heroes
**************************************
Hey Lost, is it possible to combine our current Dimentional Physica 1 and Unlimited miniaturization ot give really small power ups to out bots. Something like a backpack to give temporary indestructible affect on Anti.

Acting?

Divinity? (At level four our power set becomes a Mantel)

Explosive's? (From standard nukes to bombs that mess with spacetime)

Enchanting is under ritualism. Business is already a skill. Weapon / Gadget designing you already have in mechanical creation.

Acting, if you like. Though it seems a bit limited. Gotta think of it.

Divinity is no for setting reasons. You will get into that later.

Explosives would be below, under sabotage. You can already do it some, but you would need something specialized if you wanted more than just 'boom.'

Ritualism - The 'technical' side of magic. Where general magic requires talent and can be cast in an instant, this is the building side of it. It requires no real 'power' magic wise, but it doesn't hurt.
1 - Effects roughly the half the size of a person can be produced
2 - A small room can be effected
3 - A building
3 - A city

Business
1 any business you own will turn automatically turn a small profit. Your schemes will not damage their business
2 any business you own will turn a profit. Schemes done can cause bonuses
3 any business you own will turn a large profit. There is a small chance you will spark a new idea (new blueprint)
4 you may sacrifice profit for mania.
Sabatoge
1 You know how to break things on a small level
2 You know how to break things on a building level
3 You can bring a block to it's knees
4 You can break a city

Seems like a waste really. Unless we are planning to go clean we can nab a ton from committing crimes that are worth our C-Rank in Villainy.

This. Plus I really don't want to become a Luthor expy.
I've really only lurked this quest, but my own interpretation of the Business skill is that it's something that will more or less run in the background, so to speak. So any actual Lex Luthoring would have to be done via actively voting for such things. I could be totally of the mark though. Take with shaker of salt..
