What's the difference then between body modifiers and non-body-modifiers?

This.
Step 1. Fly while being curled into a fetal position.This.
Using Summit's freaky Cthulhu suit/weapon to pull her body around when nerve gas has shut down muscles is different than ignoring Giant Cave Spider Silk gluing you to the ground.
Step 3: Gain the ability to produce high-quality silk and earn a fortune selling it to clothing-companiesStep 1. Fly while being curled into a fetal position.
Step 2. On being webbed, apply Aggressive Absorption on "everywhere around you that isn't you". The diameter is 1.5m, you can easily do it.
Look at the ability description. Does it contain the words "applies a body modifier" or similar? If yes, then Wings of Imagination will block it. If not, it won't....It was in the same folder as paralysis in your bible of abilities though.

But Abomination is the best one! (Has the best stuff behind it/on it.) Why wouldn't Anna want to pick it up?
Isn't the Ponoply more like black silly-putty though?could we get an idea of what it would do before we buy it? I know thematically it sounds like we go full transhuman and replace our body with a better one, but it's a bit vague on the exact impact. Like would we be able to fold ourself into a mostly human shape to socialize? would we still have our sense of touch and taste? would there be mental effects? and most importantly, could we get a moth mounted flamethrower and eye mounted lasers?
Right now my conception of it is we end up with a body made out of essintally knife origami that can fold into a shape that looks human when untransformed and trying to look normal, and that we look like a horrifying mesh of knives and energy when transformed, but that's mostly a blind guess I found amusing.
Well, Summit has a Type 1 transformation, so fusing the panoply and the flesh does kind of imply permanent "transformation".unless it makes us permanently transformed we'd still need a fully physical body. Just one that's less squishy, and more able to utilize our panoply when transformed. Though if it leaves us permanently transformed, then my new blind guess is that we'd be some sort of energy creature thing, like a T-1000 made of our Ponoply.

Agree to disagree, there. For all that I would like TTTGFTH, I feel that Anna's being approachable is more valuable trait than what Abomination will inflict on her and grant us access to, especially since Attack and Defense are also covered with Pioneer and Paragon, providing us with an alternative
Well, I would find it very strange if you had a 3500xp tax that did nothing or you had one that did something wildly different than the ability that is its pre-req.I'm not sure where Spectrum is getting his ideas about the 3500xp abilities from >_>, I'm pretty sure I haven't said anything about what they do other than gate some high-rent abilities.

*Nods appreciatively* Honestly one of the better coping mechanisms I can think of.(Funnily enough, Anna has been feeling better with the whole paranoia thing once she started spending more non-combat time transformed. Not having eyes in the back of her head, or flight, or a field that can ignore small-arms fire makes her anxious.)
(You can't lose humanity if you have nothing left!)To be clear, there isn't a loss of apparent humanity besides the whole realization that she's a magical T-1000 now. All humanity functions are kept in working order. Unless you nom a Gehaburn or something...
I thought it was too obvious to mention that Abomination would be some form of going transhuman using the Panoply. Basically, making Summit become similar to how the Anna who is the inspiration behind Summit was while fighting in Alaska.Ding ding ding!
Summit has been using her weapon to hold damaged parts of herself together for a while (I Shall Not Fall), Abomination improves on this and lets her shift flesh back into weapon. It wouldn't look creepy until she melts away completely for safe-keeping and resembles a small shoggoth. Since she's in the habit of letting her Panoply float behind her in non-combat situations so people can see her face it's unlikely to make social any harder.

Eh. Second one maybe. We already have Panoply Level 30, we just need to 3500XP and we'll be able to get Pioneer right then. Of Paragon and Abomination, Ceaseless Warrior only has one level on Aegis Field (granted that's still 200XP), so... *Shrug*Sooo... with all that new information, does anyone mind us going for Ceaseless Warrior lvl 30 with the next batch of EXP?
I have to admit, I am a fan.
Only physically!
I want the next batch of EXP to be getting the ability to use Wave Force as a ranged attack.Sooo... with all that new information, does anyone mind us going for Ceaseless Warrior lvl 30 with the next batch of EXP?

All of humanity functions? No, that's not (just) for lewds' sake. Homeostasis, hormonal balance, and yes, procreation capability are kinda important to human condition.Ding ding ding!

I would prefer Stabilize to be gotten sooner rather than later, and getting Wave Force ranged nicely takes care of prerequisites. Or vice versa.I want the next batch of EXP to be getting the ability to use Wave Force as a ranged attack.
After that, I'm cool with going for any of: Pioneer, Paragon, 100% Max Health Wave Force, or finding out what our other spells do at levels 5 and 10.
We should also probably grab Emblem of Endurance and Stabilize at some point.
Dude. Magic. All of humanity functions? No, that's not (just) for lewds' sake. Homeostasis, hormonal balance, and yes, procreation capability are kinda important to human condition.
Magic is nice to have. WoQM with Magic is nicer to have.Dude. Magic.
Like, literally, Magic. They can see if you're actually gender dysphoric by looking at your soul and seeing if you're a male soul in a female body or vice versa. Nepgear was human up until she bought an Ability explicitly called No Longer Human.
