    There is a runaway trolley barreling down the street. Currently, it's poised to kill 5 people in a tragic accident. You are standing next to a lever that, if pulled, would redirect the trolley towards 1 bystander, murdering them.

    Had a dumb idea to make an entire Trolley Problem Quest, and decided to go for it. Have to start with the classic, but will get more... interesting once you get through the first few. Voting is always going to be open, just because these are really fast to write.

    Well, I suppose baby's first murder is worthy of celebration. I'm sure your victim's wife and kids will understand your decision; after all, it's not your fault they were so recklessly standing on the (unused) trolley tracks.

    As a matter of fact, lets check in with those begrieved relatives now...

    There is a runaway trolley barreling down the street. Currently, it's poised to kill a funeral procession traveling down the street. You are standing next to a lever that, if pulled, would redirect the trolley towards the wife and two children of the deceased, murdering them and reuniting their family.

    Okay here me out: If it hits the funeral procession then technically one of the victims would be the guy we murdered before. Meaning that the same guy gets hit by a trolley again after he's dead. Then, if the funeral gets ruined due to the trolley running over the corpse of the person being buried, they would need to do the funeral again later. Let's see how many trolleys we can send at this one guy.

    • You didn't pull the lever, letting several people die and disrupting the funeral.

    Well that's a shame; who would have expected needing to grieve at a funeral? At least the family is still alive, I'm sure that makes up for all those people you let die. But now they're ugly crying again, and who wants to see that? Let's give them a moment to stop making a spectacle of those people you let die and look at someone else that surely deserves your ethical mastery of lever operation.

    5 sick men are currently awaiting an organ donor to save their lives. 1 healthy man, who is not an organ donor, is completely uninvolved with the sick men and is content to continue living his life.

    There is a runaway trolley barreling down the street. Currently, it's poised to kill said healthy man traveling down the street, possibly making his organs available for harvesting. You are standing next to a lever that, if pulled, would redirect the trolley towards the 5 sick men, murdering them.
