"To Crush your Enemies, See them Recalled before You, and to Hear to the Lamentations of the Trainers."
Your people eat Pokemon, this is a fact of life. You've learned how to hunt and hunt alongside Pokemon. You've spent your days since birth raised alongside them. But such a thing is rather…controversial in the rest of the region and you can't for the life of you understand why. ( +1 PROW, +1 SKLL)
I imagine there are some pretty funny intimidation options with this combination.

It's why I'm very excited to be playing a semi-literate herbo with a Swablu or something if that wins.
Swablu could be fun. The options are Dragon, Flying, or Fighting, so maybe a Salamance or Kommo-o.

Kommo-o for Mongolian Wrestling with our pokemon, or Salamance for NOM and DRAGON RAGE!

The main problem with Swablu, I feel, is that we're in Paldea, so no MAltaria, which means kinda poor stats and no Pixilate.

Still, there is something to be said for fliers in a truly 3d environment.

The thing is there's really no such thing as a BAD Dragon-type, so I just picked the pre-evolutoon of one at random. Honestly Swablus are common enough in Paldea specifically (although less so than other Normal/Flyings) they might be a bad example. And of course there's a ton of great Fighting types and a ton of Flying types period so I'm also excited to see the selection.

Who says a mega stone/bracelet can't be a foreign import? Just means its really rare, rather than impossible to obtain.

The Trails series does have characters native to a region use martial arts (Taito) and sword styles (Eight Leaves One Blade) that are native to the opposite side of the continent.

On a related note, considering the 'combat link' feature of the ARCUS, I wonder if its possible to find a mon that has Battle Bond instead of a canon ability for the species.

I'm not entirely sure on my math as I don't have access to the tally (If SV has one that is) but my notepad is currently telling me Powderkeg is ahead by one point, and right behind it is a 3 way tie between Heavy Crown, Moonlit and Redheaded which feels like an insane scenario for the second vote of the quest. But it's very interesting none the less.

This is the current tally as per SV's official vote checker. Barbarian's just slightly ahead of the pack.

You can find the tally button at the top of the thread, in Thread Tools, by the page tab thing.

Yeah Redheaded Barbarian is leading right now, and I'm assuming the SV vote counter can be trusted or else nobody would use it. But approval voting is complicated enough I'm not entirely sure where the votes are coming from, and I swear there's one extra vote for Redheaded Barbarian I cannot find in the thread because I'm counting 8 not 9.

Edit: Still close enough for one of the Noblesse Oblige options to turn it around, although I'm not opposed to playing Ghengis Khan.

Oh yeah my notepad math was really off. Thanks for posting the tally!

Yeah I think I don't have access to it due to making this account today for this quest, usually I'm over on SB. New accounts don't have as much options, like setting a location, or gender, or apparently accessing the Tally Counter!

So, no matter what plan wins, and assuming we don't find a very time consuming plot that we have to take.

How do you all feel about rushing the League and rising up as quickly as possible? I'm talking diving in there and battling our way to the top at a downright Red Isamu speed. Eight badges in our first year? That's baby shit, let's aim for Champion rank. If we don't have the influence we need socially, we can always gain it via amassing large amounts of force.

It fits the Noblesse Oblige plans, having a Champion ranked subordinate is probably a dream come true for many a conspiracy so it fits the Sympathetic Criminal, and if you think being the biggest kicker of ass since that Hitmonlee fell into an aquarium full of Luvdisc doesn't fit Genghis Khan the Redheaded Barbarian I don't know what to tell you.

Well you know what they say, shoot for the stars and even if you miss you'll go far! (That is not the correct quote.)
I'm assuming it'll be a bit tough if even Noblesse Oblige only has Elite Four rank for the second year, but worst case is we get more badges/rank then the average which is certainly not a bad thing!

...also I'm adding Powderkeg to my vote because I really want Noblesse Oblige aha. Give it as much fighting chance as I can.
[X] Plan: Sympathetic Villain
[X] Plan: Heavy Lies The Crown
[X] Plan: Political Powderkeg

At least on desktop, you can click the usernames under each option to be taken to the vote it's tallying. Personally I've seen it have problems but almost always false negatives due to some formatting quirk rather than false positives.

I feel like pacing is kind of entirely up to the QM and how he sets up both the plot and the actual mechanics.

We're definitely gonna fight a Legendary and win by the end of the school year, though. Surely.

There are multiple ways to achieve Mega Evolution. There are the obvious stones but very expensive and rare but also the most common. There are also other ways… But they're the result of Plotlines and Quests

I'll explain how challenging Gyms will work once we get to normal turns

Y'know given the whole "Literally Estelle" joke of the first vote, I'm surprised no one put forward a Cortondo plan to try and get a bug type starter. Because of the whole, Estelle loved catching bugs as a child thing.

[X] Plan Redheaded Barbarian
[X] Plan: A Moonlit World

Having a supportive family/backer, rather than an unsupportive one, is the most important thing to me. Though for the record, I think A Moonlit World should be getting more votes; being able to understand pokemon, even to a limited extent, is a huge advantage and could be very interesting narratively as well.
