One important thing for when we are graduating, we are currently in the same year as various clan members and heirs... developing a good relationship with them is also valuable for a clan head.
So, from a social perspective might be more important to stay till 11... Although I think acting as a teaching assistant might be worthwhile, after all she won't be learning much... and most of the Uchiha kids have lost their parents having practice teaching would be valuable
If we're Clan Head, can we push to not go on missions that would lead to us leaving Konoha for extended periods for the first year, while we're still sorting the Clan's situation out? That would break the letter of our promise, but not the spirit.
I would expect it to be harder to leave the village area if you are the clan head.
I wonder if the second magic (using it to look backwards in time) could be used alongside magecraft and healing jutsu to help heal Rin's mum... I think this would serve as a decent long-term motivation.

I was tempted to go with Sasuke, however I'm not sure how he would feel about the person a year younger saving his life, and becoming the new head suddenly going to comfort him.
I doubt reading a single book will instantly improve Rin's diplomacy (i.e. I expect it to be a S++ part way to S+++), maybe it will, however I'm not sure how much it is needed regardless (I expect it to continue winning regardless); I want to balance out her the wind and fire jutsu levels a bit which is why I picked this one.
