Sure. If you want to activate his Dead Man switch. Remember, he has one in canon.
Well, seeing as we obviously survive regardless of whether we go for the kill or not, I guess the worst that can happen is Asuma becoming collateral damage. Kakashi has just seen Izanagi in action so I would bet on him surviving whatever contingency Danzo has on him. Neither of them has been mentioned after that scene, however, so it's possible that they both die shielding Sasuke and Rin.

Besides, they are honestly desperate for new leadership if they think of us as the only viable candidate.
Rin is an acknowledged genius in a clan that takes pride in their superior abilities, and she has been personally trained by the former clan head. In normal circumstances, that would not have mattered as much but currently, she is also hailed as a hero due to her role in taking down Danzo. Right now, in the Uchihas' eyes, Rin basically is the hype so I see nothing surprising or desperate in them seeing her as an obvious candidate to lead them.

...That honestly wasn't my intention. My intention was to kill off pretty much everyone Rin cared about the most in this world. Edit: your math is off. It's ~15%

Apparently, I'm not an evil enough QM. Don't worry, I'll make sure to correct that. :p JK. Or maybe not.

Whoops, for some reason I thought it said 70 something were left. Well reading comprehension problems aside, this is a good outcome.

Not IC, rin probably thinks your totally evil since she lost her immediate family and most of her extended family. But compared to cannon where there were only two survivors? This is a miracle.

One important thing for when we are graduating, we are currently in the same year as various clan members and heirs... developing a good relationship with them is also valuable for a clan head.

So, from a social perspective might be more important to stay till 11... Although I think acting as a teaching assistant might be worthwhile, after all she won't be learning much... and most of the Uchiha kids have lost their parents having practice teaching would be valuable

If we're Clan Head, can we push to not go on missions that would lead to us leaving Konoha for extended periods for the first year, while we're still sorting the Clan's situation out? That would break the letter of our promise, but not the spirit.
I would expect it to be harder to leave the village area if you are the clan head.

I wonder if the second magic (using it to look backwards in time) could be used alongside magecraft and healing jutsu to help heal Rin's mum... I think this would serve as a decent long-term motivation.

I was tempted to go with Sasuke, however I'm not sure how he would feel about the person a year younger saving his life, and becoming the new head suddenly going to comfort him.

I doubt reading a single book will instantly improve Rin's diplomacy (i.e. I expect it to be a S++ part way to S+++), maybe it will, however I'm not sure how much it is needed regardless (I expect it to continue winning regardless); I want to balance out her the wind and fire jutsu levels a bit which is why I picked this one.

I think the biggest gain is strategic. With the Uchihas intact and not locked into a self destructive murderboner, they can actually rebuild the clan in a few generations yet...rather than relying on someone with negligible romantic interest to replenish a clan of hundreds.

Which in turn means Konoha can act a lot more confidently than happened in canon, and that throws off a lot of the big political stuff because they don't smell as much of a weakness.

Seriously guys. We should decide what kind of build we really want. Or at least, what stats to focus on at the moment.

I'd say we should focus on our Strength, Speed, Chakra Control, and Taijutsu Stat wise. Skill wise I'd say the Academy Clone Jutsu for at least a bit. Get it up to D Rank and all and the Shunshin.

Elemental Ninjutsu, and its manipulation via magic. I want to ninja Rin up in the same style as she was a magus. I also feel she would focus her skills on magic even though it is not optimal.

I want to get some basic proficiency in all the basic elements, so we can show off our Tokubetsu Jounin status.
Then further specialize into lightning and Shunshin for added speed.

Add Genjutsu as a backup/surprise. Let's make use of that special bonus Shisui granted us there.

We really don't need to focus on Genjutsu for the time being. It's already B Rank. One may say the same with Speed and Shunshin but the degree which we can use those two in conjunction would be an artificial boost to speed when we figure out how to use it in combat.

Yeah, our diplomacy is S++. We are obligated to intervene, even if we choose not to become clan head, because as a 7 year old girl that barely understands why there even was a massacre or that there was a planned uprising, we are hilariously unqualified to be the Uchiha clan head.

Also, as a 7 year old girl I don't think we're ready to murder an utterly defeated man in cold blood.

I think we should visit everyone, but Itachi is going to be the important visit for the sake of getting Rin up to speed on what happened and why.

This has nothing to do with being ready to murder Danzo. Rin is definitely ready, especially considering Danzo was about to kill her. It has to do with the fact that Danzo has the Four Symbols Reverse Seal that activates on his death, sealing us into his corpse.

Yeah, but Rin doesn't know that.
Sure, but Rin could reasonably assume he has a countermeasure for his death, considering his numerous Sharingan. Does Rin know about Izanagi yet? I think Itachi told her about it, but I'm not sure.
EDIT:Itachi did. This means, considering what she knows of sealing being able to activate conditionally, that a seal to activate on death using Izanagi would be possible. Now this isn't true, but it can be assumed IC by Rin, giving her a reason to not kill Danzo immediately.

A. Graduates at 10.
+Breaks the promise with her father
+He'd understand, if he were around
B. Graduates at 11
+Keeps the promise with her father
+Less time to prepare for the storm of dangers of canon

Either way, she's not getting any of the Konoha 12 as teammates.

The option of becoming an actual Clan Head is also up to you Players.

What will happen after we graduate? Personal apprentice to someone?
Can we graduate at 11, but until then leave the academy (except maybe for the lunch breaks for socialization) in favor of private tutoring by clan members?
Also, can we become clan head, but with one or more regent/steward to delegate the bulk work to until we're older?

We'll see.
