There Was An Idea: A Kevin Feige Quest

Well the acting and choreography needs to be top notch like ip man
Agree here. Ip Man was amazing, and the sequel topped that.
With full on red and green flashing lights, and some kind of eerie stinger noise before a sudden cut to black.
Red and green flashing lights might be modified a bit (perhaps make it so that they are the police lights) and the stinger noise be replaced by a scream of "Nooo!" after the sudden cut to black.

Might as well.

I'm once again going to put in a word for some kind of Norse Mythology animated series or somesuch where we put the Marvel spin on classic myths. Seriously, Þrymskviða is hilarious on its own, and infinitely more so when you picture Hiddleston and Hemsworth doing Thor and Loki's shenanigans, and it absolutely must receive the MCU treatment. It also allows us to set up more of the characters and such for Ragnarok.

Here's mine just a tentative plan really. Audiences wanted more seasons of Secret Warriors, Daredevil,Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. They really didn't show interest for a second season of invaders.

I honestly just want to do something a bit different from everything else we've got going on. A lot of our shows hit very similar beats (Warriors and Invaders hit similar beats and Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones are likely to hit similar beats now). I'd rather try and do some things that are completely different (animated Norse Myths, Power Pack kids show, a show about Moonboy in the Savage Land, Jennifer Walters She-Hulk at law etc.). Change for changes sake isn't a good thing but I want to try and show some creative flexibility and do new stuff rather than hitting the same few points over and over again in our shows. Our movies seem to have more range then our shows and I'd like the shows to match up.

I have no problem with this, but the thing is that this show would have to follow after Journey into Mystery, and that movie is happenning at the same time as we are putting this TV shows. So I would suggest that we try to add that series next year.

Well, thing is that Invaders is a show that is supposed to help us set up the beginning of S.H.I.E.L.D., and what will make it even better is when we show how HYDRA infiltrated it. Plus, we still have to show how Jim Hammond surveived and was made into part robot.

Also, She-Hulk was introduced this year, so if we want a She-Hulk TV show, it has to be next year.

I wouldn't be against it, but thing is that people have responded very well to these series so far, they are clamoring for continuations of them, and to deny them just to explore something new which we can also do if we choose more original ideas doesn't sit right.

Aside from Invaders (and I still feel that people will have a positive response if we make a new season of it) all our other series have fans that want more, and we must head the calling of the fans, since they are the ones that support us.

I highly disagree with this logic. We should only continue a series of we have a good story we want to tell not because the fans want more. Too many series are ruined due to the creators choosing to stretch things out or please their audience too overtly. Frankly I find the fact that everything is so similar is a good way to burn people out on that stuff. I'd rather end on a good note and weave the characters through other series than feel obligated to make more seasons based off of the previous ones ratings (seasonal rot is a thing and it can destroy a show). While the majority of your argument is cogent I feel that this bit holds no ground and is a very dangerous mentality to have.

Furthermore doing something different doesn't mean abandoning them forever. I doubt a one or two year hiatus is going to seriously impact the hype for popular shows getting renewed. I'm not advocating ignoring them forever but I'd like to expand what we can and will do with television before coming back to them.

I'll be going with King Crimson on this one, I think that we should make another season of most of the shows, but add new things instead of two shows that we already have. Sure, it will kill the hype to wait longer for a season 2 for Luke and Jessica, but with She-Hulk now around, we have something to offer with a female lead series.

I have a question, what would we need to do to begin doing shorts like 'All Hail the King'? I think we could either release them straight on the streaming service for added content or have them play before the marvel movies Pixar-style. Either way I feel it could be a way of expanding on lore, worldbuilding or just do a little of character exploration. Also due to the small format and the lower budget we could do more experimental things, or things that may not mesh seamlessly with the tone of the rest of the MCU.

I find it that we have many more stories to make using our characters and in no way are they in danger of "Burning out" as you say. it sounds here like you want to end them now, which considering that it has only been one year and we have many more stories to give and do, sounds very dangerous indeed to me. These are characters that have so much to give and do, so many other different trials to go to before becoming the Defenders.

It will slow down the story that we are trying to tell with them, and it will slow down the developing of more of the series that we had been planning before. We cannot just put the characters on hold and then have everyone just expect them to appear ready to continue the saga as if the entire year beforehand had not happened at all.

I'm heading to bed and will vote tomorrow, but I just wanted to point out that even heavily-hyped, high quality shows can fail if subjected to a sudden pause or other timing issue. Don't vote No and expect to pick the story up next time with zero consequences.

Nine is too many!
Sox or seven at most. Want new properties? Let some old ones have single seasons. Thry can be picked up later.

This.

And besides, at best we have plans for Iron Fist, the other original I hope to convince everyone to make into a Mini-Series about The Depths storyline. Which should last only for this occasion.

Asides from that, Invaders should only last three seasons, so next year should end it giving us another slot to add for a new series.

Warriors and Daredevil are well-recieved enough that it would be weird if we didn't continue the stories.

[X] [Invaders] Yes

Invaders was probably the least successful of the shows but that doesn't mean it didn't do well because it did. Besides the story of Invaders is a story worth telling and I really think we should continue to expand upon the lore SHIELD before the HYDRA reveal.

As for LC and JJ, I feel that Cage is in a better position for a second season than Jones and it did almost as good as Daredevil if I remember correctly.

[X] [Original] 2

For the new shows, Iron Fist is kinda of a must. I'm thinking we do the Power Pack for the second new show because I think it be good to display some more blatant versatility than we have been showing on our TV shows. You see every single show we have made has been pretty fucking dark so lets not put oursepf into a box and produce the Punisher, Blade, or Ghost Rider just quite yet.

I just hope that we don't make the mistake we had with the first Warriors season where we tried to shove in as many cameos as possible, thus inflating the budget.

Why not just fold Luke and Jessica into a single "Heroes for hire" show?
The idea we discussed many pages ago was t make at least three to four season of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones (Daredevil as well) before folding them all (including Iron Fist) into a Heroes for hire TV series. Don't know if people are still down for it, but I think it could work.

Warriors was our Game of Thrones show, we needed those cameos in order to make it work.

Plus, I'm thinking that this time we could try to use Iron Man in the show, it inflates our budget, but it is a good idea to show that he is still relevant.
