Broke: playing as the KMT.
Woke: destroying the KMT in a single turn.
Bespoke: writing ic invalidating said destruction during the same turn.
 
Man, I wish I could barge into the IC thread of a game I'm not playing and write a completely meaningless (because, again, I'm not actually a player in the game) IC moodily contradicting the lore of someone actually playing the game.

That would be wild.
 
Man, where's all that deeply concerned furrowed-brow posting now that some guy from outside the game's spamming the thread? There was so much of it earlier when I was playing the nation I was assigned. Weird shit.

On a serious note having a disagreement with etranger's vision of his Chinese narrative is fine, expressing that view in good faith in an OOC manner is constructive, etc. but the idea that someone who isn't in the game comes in and posts as your country and directly mocks something you spent time writing, making into an aesthetic narrative, is unacceptable and I don't think very funny. So seriously the gm should step in and ban that dude for being a complete asshole. Applying for the KMT is one thing, his actions in the IC thread are beyond the pale in that regard. Just my two cents on the whole thing. The previous arguments also definitely looked like people ganging up on one guy who's associated with people you don't like. That definitely seems more like goon behavior but what do I know.

Well, not punctuation since you didn't end that last sentence with a question mark. And frankly etranger deserves to be mocked. What he did isn't some point of reasonable disagreement. It's crazy. Nothing less than crazy for reasons already given in the thread. If you won't take the game seriously you should not be taken seriously. Granted, this could all be solved in five minutes if Chaotic came online but he hasn't so mockery is all that's left.

As you see, there are some players that are treated differently than others, sometimes because of their expert or veteran status when it comes to nation gaming. I actually think those type of posts are not good for the game.

This manner of post doesn't really don't do anything other than lower the tone of the game, to be honest.

Let's just wait for @ChaoticGenius to put in an appearance and until then give Chaotic the benefit of the doubt by assuming he's busy and will respond when he can.

So you're saying that I "deserve" to be insulted in the OOC thread and to have insulting posts made about me in the IC thread? That's an interesting perspective, to be sure.

Also, like, how am I not taking this game seriously? I've done a turnpost and several ICs. Isn't that good participation?
