I think maybe doing both zhufbar actions is a good idea with the extra rangers in the plans people .

If you look at my plan, I've done precisely that. So you aren't the only one that thinks it's a good idea.

[] Zhufbar's convoys: The Skaven are attacking the Zhufbarak armoured caravans as they head through Sylvania and from there to Karak Hirn. The massive steam-powered wagons are freshly guild-approved and still have some issues with the Sylvanian terrain. Mostly all of the zombies crawling from the dirt. T
[] Zhufbar is still under attack: Ever eager for examples of Dawi technology, the Skaven attacks on Zhufbar continue unabated and without restraint. But, this time, the Skaven are laying siege to the surface. From outside cannon range, Skaven Warp Lightning cannons fire on the walls of Zhufbar.

Finding the hell pit means we can get Kislev and the north dawi to attack a skaven hold. I have gone over the reasons before but the skaven hold is home to one of the big 4 and would distract one of the major clans to defend their home base.
Also if they take enough damage thats a big chance for the other 3 clans to jump them which skaven are know to do at the sign of weakness

From what I've been looking at with the numbers we have the missions.

It basically boils down to: We do the Anti Skaven front mission...or we don't and we basically do everything else *but* that. The Solland missions honestly seem superfluous right now if only because we're already doing a Clan Rakdium purge and while training is good...we don't got the time or bodies for it. We got a ton of fires to put out and not enough rangers to do it.

I personally want to put off the ASF if only because getting more fires out not only means more recruits...but it will allow Izor and Norn to breath and be able to help with the ASF as well.

-------------------------

For Solland, I want to get the Town/road one done, the Ostermark settlers, and the Zhufbar options.

All three of those affect more than 2 things of the Solland Reformation, infrastructure, economy, military and so on. Plus they all in some form or fashion help out a lot of people in and out of the province.

I know Zhufbar is tricky, but if we have the Humans of Steingart work out a deal with Zhufbar, should be good if only as a fig leaf. Zhufbar needs that oil and the other goods would be a major boon to the region too.

[] Teclis of Ulthuan
-Describe what you want to talk about: Invite him on an adventure! Write to him about the Karag Dum expedition and suggest that if he comes with some WyrdDawi support, no one from the Karaz Ankor would have to worry about the shame, after all 'it was those wazzocks from Krakka Drakk'. Mention that this, not only saving Dawi lives but recovering vital artifacts could do much to at least...soften the gap between their races.
Mayto said we dont have enough shame points to bring Umgi along for the adventure. Just imagine how many shame points it would be to bring Elgi.

Ah, but if it's the Krakka Drakk Dawi, well, they won't even accept the Grudges on the Elves, what can you expect from those...unpatriotic Dawi?

(of course subject to @Mayto 's approval but I figured if he was part of any Krakka Drak forces sent to aid the expedition, it might work out. If not, i'll change that to something else.

For the Solland bit, in my personal opinion while the Six-Shooters are an elite unit that can carry the day, Solland as it is can't really support a state army at the moment. Best is a possibly well armed and trained militia. Have a force of rangers to supplement the militia or a solid line of pikes to work around would probably work better. The Six-Shooters are strong and can lead and train armies, but it would be difficult to expand.

@Mayto each army option is seperate right? As far as I can tell simply supplying them supplies isn't that much (unless it's the start of a quest line then that makes sense)

Comes across that we'll be able to do all of them eventually, we're just picking which one to start with. And I think the Order, since not only will it give us a very professional infantry base for the army, also gives us at last 2 stone fortresses if I've read things right and one of those will be guarding the southern trade pass....that takes precedence for me.

Its just choosing in which order you want to organize and fund these units. The order of unlocking them doesn't lock things out.

Just some basic stuff like, if something bad happens, you might want to have the rangers ready by next turn. Or the Tileans. Or the Six Shooters

Nobody likes a smartass. That includes the Dawi.

Hey, @Mayto, how long has the events of Hunt of the Vlagians - Warhammer - The Old World - Lexicanum occurred yet, as of the time of the quest?

I will not provide you information with which to metagame.

Tbf I'd personally like Teclis along.

But this is a DWARF mission. A quest to recover sacred items.

Bringing along mercenaries for such a thing, let alone an elf? That's just not something Dawi do. Only reason Felix came along in Daemonslayer is because he was blood-bound to follow Gotrek. And even then, he got glances at first.

Not even Bokri is that mad.

[] Plan We march to Doom!

-[] Atop the Highest Peak:

-[] Accept the mission immediately: The High King asks, and you will answer.
+2 Shame Capacity.

The Expedition to Karag Dum: You finally know the rough location of just where Karag Dum is within the partially expanded wastes and believe you will be able to send an expedition. But this is beyond the Ranger's Guild at the moment. Borek Forkbeard is currently gathering supporters for this expedition in the Everpeak. But they will need all the help they can get. Your Rangers can lay the groundwork for their journey.

-[]Prepare a path for the expedition:
Rangers Needed: 15
Danger: Very High
Increases the odds for the expedition.

-[] Supply Caches for the Expedition:
Rangers Needed: 15
Danger: Very High
Increases the odds for the expedition.

-[] Clear out the detritus of the Wastes:
Rangers Needed: 15
Danger: Very High
Increases the odds for the expedition.

The Skaven Menace:

-[] Zhufbar is still under attack:
Rangers needed: 30
Danger: Very High
Reward: Small outpost in Zhufbar

-[] Reinforce the Anti-Skaven front:
Rangers Needed: 90
Danger: High.
Reward:
Your southern flank remains firmly held by the Vault Triumvirate
Trade is not disrupted.

-[] Help Karak Izor guards its approaches:
Rangers Needed: 30
Danger: Near-suicide Mission.
Reward: Karak Izor recovers from the Skaven attacks.

-[] Purge Karak Norn's mountainside of Clan Eshin.
Rangers needed: 60
Danger: Very High
Reward: Pressure on Karak Norn decreases.
Small Outpost in Karak Norn.

-[] Marsh patrol:
Rangers needed: 30
Danger: ??
Reward: Large outpost in Barak Varr
A peek at the Skaven Fleet.

-[] [Letter] Friedrich Von Tarnus
--[] Friedrich promised his aid if we ever needed it - we're calling it in. Ask Friedrich to take himself and any of his mage friends he can convince to come along to journey to Karak Hirn, to participate in the defense.

-[] [Letter] Other: King Ungrim of Karak Kadrin
--[] Reach out as head of the Ranger's Guild. Give him an extremely detailed breakdown of the current state of the War against the Skaven, tailored to allow him to pinpoint where he can send Slayers to find their most valiant dooms. Further suggest that if he were to allow you to establish an outpost in Karak Kadrin, he would have access to this sort of intelligence all the time, on all of the Karaz Ankor's enemies - allowing him to help the Slayers find their ends as efficiently and effectively as possible.

-[] [Letter] Magnus Bildenhof, Emperor of the Empire
--[] Warn him of the growing potential problem the Karak Anhazar settlers represent.
You have no interest in ruling Solland, but not all Dawi share that perspective. Reassert your willingness to work with Magnus's plans to reincorporate the Elector County of Solland into the Empire, and request his current thoughts on how to move forward.

-[] [Letter] Prince Leopold of Ostland, Knights of Everlasting Light
--[] Ask the Everlasting Light to assist Zhufbar's convoys as they travel across Sylvania. Inform him that they are vital supplies that are going to be used in the defense of the hold and that if they dont get there many may die.

Fair, though you saying that at all probably means well at least find their remains if nothing else. which is really something more than the poor things got.
