[X] No, no one is perfect, this include elves, orks and dwarfs. We must expect and forgive the weaknesses inherent in the People.
[X] Side with those wishing equal distribution. (+50 gold)
[X] Buy them passage and wish them well (-20 gold)
[X] Repair the Harbor (level 1) Costs: 30 gold (+10 gold per turn, unlocks opportunities, finishes in 2 turns)

Harbor has the best profit for what we can currently afford, and we need a stable source of income set up as fast as possible.

We burn the wrong in the world but if we focus on only burn, all will be ash.

This new idea if difficult to follow,we need more indoctrination to made our men see this as righteous action but for now forgive them.

[X] Build A Market (level 1) Costs: 20 gold (+5 gold per turn, gold earned per turn increases depending state of roads, harbor, trade, relations, finishes in 1 turn)

Here me out, market can finish in one turn and give us income, and synergy with other improvement we try to do in our territory, made people feel like home first before doing other choice.

Can I suggest we build market first?,Harbor need 2 turn, market is one turn and give income and bussiness running in our territory.

alright the two unique structures are the Golden Arches of Freedom and the Monument to the People. Turn 2 is now updated.

We're an island though. In order to do any signifcant trade we're going to need a harbor first. Market will be a lot more profitable once we get the harbor up and running.

I mean commoner trade and civilian life need market first, without internal bussiness of market, their daily life will not be the same,I want to keep dissent low for now.

I agree to build habour but we need market first and I will support habour later.

The streets of Sartosa are clean enough and the fires have died down, you can now build/repair structures (1 building per turn)
[X] Repair the Harbor (level 1) Costs: 30 gold (+10 gold per turn, unlocks opportunities, finishes in 2 turns)

Unique Structures/ Projects (unique structures will be built by friendly factions by using a dice roll per turn, players can buy additional dice for said turn by spending Points)

Meh, Blackaxe will burn in Hell for what he has done once his time in this world ends. There, he will learned he fucked up.

Then we can only hope the Dark Gods get his soul and pass it around as a chew toy.
Unlikely, Dwarves have their own version of Morr, and even then, let's say, we let them live.

You think they'd just forget we slaughtered their parents, or at least one of them, in front of them? They'd also be figureheads for any potential counter revolts.

Do you know anything about the Chinese Communists? They managed it by killing most of them, and discriminating against and slapping heavy penalties on anyone related to the landowners. Not much different from what we're doing here.

They managed it by heavy re-education to prove a point and they did it to adults. Brainwashing a small number of kids would have been trivial.

Between 1947 and 1952 an estimated 1-5 million landowners and relatives were killed either by the Chinese government directly, or by peasants encouraged by the government. Many others deemed counterrevolutionaries were sent to reeducation through labor camps, where a further 3-4 million died under harsh working conditions. Most of the survivors weren't so much reeducated as shoved forcibly at the bottom of society, and denied all opportunities for advancement. Even more of them were purged in the Cultural Revolution of the 1960's. It wasn't really until Mao's death in 1976 that such discrimination was acknowledged and opposed by the government. Even now in more rural parts of China discrimination against those whose great-grandparents had been landowners is common.

ummm... guys, you don't need to vote for unique structures since there are no factions yet, but 1 or 2 will show up next turn if their Trigger Options win.

Also rumors and news will be posted soon.

edit: eventually the news and rumors section will start like this...

What was it my fellow citizens that started our glorious and righteous revolution? It was the death of a girl just because one of those tyrant pirate lords felt like it. Now we have those imbued with the fervor of our cause beginning to do the same, we must stop them before through their over eagerness they betray the ideals of the revolution that we hold dear. Let them bring those accused of collaboration before us so that we may judge them. We are not the pirate lords who kill at whim.

Would the Council punish these men?
[X] No, no one is perfect, this include elves, orks and dwarfs. We must expect and forgive the weaknesses inherent in the People.
These men went and put forth honest effort to track down our enemies, now there are those that call for their punishment for failing. To me this sounds like what we learned from our former masters who would punish for failing a task regardless of if we could have accomplished it or not. From their failure we must learn and unless those that fail do so out of malice or desire to see our Revolution fail then why should we punish them? All it shows is either their task was beyond their abilities in which case they must undergo training to improve themselves or their talents are for other tasks. The other cause could circumstances beyond their control, and why should we punish those who strive to the best of they can do?

For now let us embrace the equality of opportunity, that our glorious Revolution was to wipe the slate clean, and to provide a fresh start. Perhaps as time progresses some will do better than others but now at the start let us have no differences.

How would the Council react to the former slaves' petition? (Can use the money earned from the above options)

We have voted rightly so to free the people, let us not keep those who wish to return home in bondage. Let us show the world that our Cause is just and our Way is right by letting these poor souls who were captured and put into slavery to return home to their families and help restore the lives destroyed by our enemies, those pirate lords and other oppressors. Let them be the first messengers of our cause and go forth to their homes where they may carry the Spirit of the Revolution with them.

I hear some say build a market, others build a guild hall or a printing press to spread our cause. I say build a harbor. We are an island and we will need a place for boats to be built and to dock. We will need this for fishing fleets to feed the people, we will need this as a place for our ships to leave and spread the message of our Way. We will need this to hear what is going on in the world around us and to bring in the ships from afar for those materials necessary to keep our Revolution alive.

[X] Monument to the People (Cost 0/500)
We are a Revolution of the people, for the people. And in this cause many sacrificed their lives to end the tyranny of the oppressors, let us honor them and remember them so that future generations can look back and see their sacrifice. Let us build this monument so that they may never be forgotten, that the Cause they fought and died for may not be corrupted. That we will always have a touch stone back to this moment in time.

Im sorry I missed the first vote, but we need to reign them in before it gets to the point of people accusing others out of spite and jealousy and also try to bring about a sense of safety. Right now anyone can go up to anyone and declare them an enemy of the people and have them killed. That is dangerous and the downfall of republics. I tried to bring some IC reasons to my choices, please let me know what you think.
