    (Building a Foreign Office and/or a Propaganda Network would increase the reliability of said Rumors and News)

    Foreign Reaction to Sartosa's Regime Change (Plausible Rumor)
    The reception of the popular uprising in Sartosa by the majority of the various kings, nobles, and courtiers in the halls of power scattered across the Old World can best be described as indifference, indeed some even cheered when they learned about the demise of the dreaded pirate-lords in the said rogue-state. Hence, the news that trickled in from said island a few weeks later quickly changed their smiles into frowns. The upper classes were horrified by the barbarity of the peasants towards their "victims", that anything related to democratic-thinking was destroyed while peasant leaders, reformist and educators were brutally tortured then killed. The nobility of course, did not see the hypocrisy of their actions.

    While It is true that the upper classes across the Old World hated and fought the pirate-lords, they still saw them as members of their class, they were part of the ruling elite, and for a mob of unwashed peasants to not only kill them and their descendants but to hunt them down like animals and to display their bodies to be gawked at were too dreadful to imagine. The Tilean nobility was so disgusted, that the city-states of Remas and Verezzo, both of which have long masqueraded as republics so as not to disenfranchise their commoners and peasants, finally had the justification to remove the last vestiges of class representation and peasant-rights in their respective cities.

    In Estalia, the various kings and church-leaders of the Cult of Myrmidia expanded the orders of the Inquisition to not only hunt down Chaos cultists, witches, and sorcerers but to include republicans, democrats, or any other person that would champion the peasantry. In Brettonia, the nobles of Parravon, who had a long culture of terrorizing their peasantry felt more justified than ever, ridiculing the nobles of Montfort and their 'peasant-loving' ways. The situation in Brettonia got so bad, that there is now a call that peasants serving in castles must pay their lords for the privilege in living in such a place of 'luxury'. This call proved to be so popular that King Leon might ratify it as a Law of the Land.

    Meanwhile, the propaganda machine of Karl Franz in the Empire of Sigmar was having a field day due to this news as well. They sensationalized it even further, calling the Revolutionaries as cannibals who not only killed the children of the pirate-lords but feasted upon their remains. The sensationalists went even further, by reviving the 'supposed' monstrous actions of the commoners during the Window Tax Riots and even the famed hero Felix Jaeger, now an old man, was attacked in his home for being an agitator in his youth as well as being a well-known 'peasant-lover'. Those that attacked him though soon regretted their hasty decision. It was no surprise then that some members of the clergy of the cults of Sigmar and Ulric petitioned their leaders to denounce the People of Sartosa as Servants of the Ruinous Powers, as well as to create more sermons justifying the rule of the nobility over the masses. In Marienburg, the Directorate and the De Kuypers family cracked down on their enemies with the excuse that "they wish to cause terror by introducing the twin sins of suffrage and representation".

    The Boyars of Kislev simply laughed away the People and the Revolution, they believe that their peasants are too stupid to get any ideas on their heads and that Sartosa might as well be a magical place, imagine a place where it doesn't snow and with water as far as the eye can see!

    The Empire of Sigmar (unreliable rumor)
    -     Princess Sophia, daughter of Karl Franz, has finished her tour of Ostermark and is on her way to Ostland. So far, the various Elector-Counts are all smiles and no beastman, orc, or vampire has troubled the princess since her journey began.

    Don't worry about an invasion this early, aside from the fact that you guys would likely detect an invasion (unless Trantio rolls high in its secrecy roll) the Tileans got their hands full in liberating Miragliano from the Skaven, and Field Marshal Cesare (the son of Borgio of Miragliano) would try to convince the other city-states to try and reclaim more territory. However, if the Miragliano forces wins overwhelmingly in the Winter Offensive, I decided to make their army to be on par to the British Empire of the 18th century in terms of discipline and training hence the hint of the British fifes and drums in the Rumors and News update.

    also, when I was writing about the Siege of Miragliano i was thinking about a specific besieged city in the Eastern Front in World War 2. if you guys can guess what it is I'll reward you guys another 1d100 to spend with as you will.

    In my version of the Warhammer Fantasy Universe, the total war-style invasion of the Skaven against Miragliano was the catalyst why the Tileans and Estalians would adopt 17-18 century style of warfare instead of remaining in the High Renaissance period. If they didn't, the Skaven would have overrun Tilea immediately. The same is not true in places where divine intervention is more substantial (Brettonia and the Empire).

    So, seems the nobility are afraid of what we offer. A place where the peasants can go and not be under their bootheels is obviously a threat to their power, so their condemnations are of no surprise to us. However, the people will come to us. Slowly, but surely, the wheels of progress will grind the bones of the nobility into bread for the hungry.

    I went away to give liberty to those who have none. When I came back to see the most basic of liberty taken away from those who need to be protected the most. Young children had their most basic right, that of life, taken away because one Dwarf wanted more blood. If we don't turn this around we'll become a snake eating its own tail and we will drown in our own blood.
     
    Let put it this way,the riot tax happen because peasant can not endure crushing tax and Karl Franz response in kind.

    That what noble do with their power,they will try to do worse than us.If he want rise army to fight chaos so much why he not rise noble tax instead.Noble has more wealth than all of town people combine,fraction of cut in luxury life style can rise army and equipment just fine.

    Another thing market should be build first,market is foundation of commoner society,we chat,we trade,we barter in the market,without market we can not seek something we lack and something we can offer to society.

    Free market is foundation of republic.

    Obligatory and debt when not paid in full and break oath need to response in kind.

    Dwarve have law and culture and act in their right of debt and honour.If we want to forbid that action of dwarve then pass new law to govern criminal and civil case.

    Another thing to consider that in dwarve eye all of us are beardling.We are child in their eye.Their parent pirate lord is still children as far as dwarve concern.

    But that not excuse form them to break oath and side with their parent,Sin and Glory of family pass through parent to their children.Child act in the name of parent and carry weight of grudge and glory for their father.

    I will allow children to trial by combat if you want fair judgement.
     
    Why, why in the name of god did people think it was a good idea not to punish the dwarf:jackiechan:!? We are not fucking France people! We are not a super power that can ignore what our neighbors think! So why did people vote to go French style revolution rather then American:facepalm:.

    Well,I think we really need invent new justice system,when the public unrest happen and don't have law on hand,custom and norm usually fill the gap of law,According to dwarve custom and their law.The dwarve don't do anything wrong,we maybe don't agree with dwarven method but banish them is to punish the dwarve for crime they don't commit.

    The dwarve just follow what they think is their justice system and law,we maybe not agree with them and want to change it but on that point in time,there are no law to govern that incident.

    Because no matter what, the nobility in the other countries would be coming for us with full on wrathful intent? Remember, we are literally a beacon of hope to the peasantry, in their eyes. They can't let us exist.

    Except their were other republics so nothing we have done is unique. We are literally at the ass end of no where in the Old World, only valuable as a base for navel trade. None of the major powers(ie the Empire and Bretonia) could or would have done anything about us and Tilea is so divided between rival city-states that from their perspective the only thing that would have changed was the decrease in piracy. But pointlessly pissing them off is just the dumbest thing we could do! We are not France! So trying for a French style revolution is the dumbest thing possible for the simple reason that we cant actually beat the crap out of most of our neighbors! Rather the opposite in fact, they could beat the crap out of us since all the pirates are dead. We cant afford to needlessly piss them off.

    Seriously, countries, especially feudal ones with more important enemies don't just go to war for ideology unless the other side gives them an open initiation and is much much smaller then them. We just gave them that invitation, we are that much smaller then anyone else and the only thing keeping our nearest neighbors from following through on what we gave them is that fact that they are either too far away or currently busy with more important things.

    They were barely republics, if they were real ones, would they be using our uprising as an excuse to clamp down on the peasantry's voting rights?

    As for them being pissed, AGAIN, they view us as a threat because we can prove that the smallfolk don't need the nobility. And that is the most dangerous thing of all.

    WE ARENT A THREAT DAMMIT! Stop thinking we are! You know why we aren't a threat? BECAUSE WE ARE FUCKING WEAK THATS WHY! We are like a small annoying dog that's constant barking has drawn the attention of the hungry lions around it. All we have done is given everyone around us carte blanche to do whatever the hell they want to do to us. All their so-called outrage is them just taking advantage of the piece of propaganda gold we handed over to them on a silver platter!

    God dammit, this isn't an age where "ideas are bullet proof" this is an age where if the local tyrant doesn't like what you and yours are saying they are completely fine with killing the whole lot of you and the spread of information slow enough, and common peasantry beaten down and uneducated enough that those ideas would die with you rather then make you a martyr. The only way to keep that tyrant from doing just that is to get strong enough to stop them, and the only way to do that is not give them a reason or invitation to crush you before you get too strong. WE JUST GAVE THEM THAT INVITATION!

    Let me explain the issue for you, in simple terms:

    Yes, we are weak militarily and in all the othe meaningful ways.

    HOWEVER, as a symbol, we could be dangerous. And the last thing the nobles need is some place showing that no, they don't need to have all these pesky nobles around to kick ass. If we go up against Chaos or what have you, and by some miracle win..... It could go badly for them.

    Calm the fuck down man. The whole Old World isn't going to attack us at once, and we aren't declaring war on all of them at once. What we do is stabilize and build up our own society, sow discontent in foreign countries, and then support foreign revolutions when they spring up. There are bigger issues facing almost every country than us right now.
     
    I agree, let's calm down. The Dwarf may have escaped Justice, but we can make up for our mistakes by doing good for our people and help others caught in the crossfire in this revolution. Perhaps we'll give the Dwarf a proper trial once were done establishing the laws and a court.

    I'd rather we start revolutions against governments that abuse and oppress their people, not because they are ruled by nobels and monarchs.
