Definitely want a King or Queen title in order to make Space!Bretonnia.
You could, if you so wished. I mainly put in those Roman-inspired names because of my earlier description about being a vassal-nation of a grand empire, not unlike that of Rome. I will let you know though that the prestige of said position may not be applicable when you came into power yourself. So, our combination of traits put it that we were in a position to be the Stellarch's Praetorian Guard or something?
Flowers do honestly make for excellent naming schemes in general, regardless of the setting! As for the banner, as some have said before, I also like the one with the petals the best. It does add a bit of a floral theme, but we probably shouldn't lean into that too hard. Maybe a housename like House Primrose, or something Fleur-de-lis inspired. Like the iris flower, or as it called in german Schwertlilie( sword lily) . I could see House Iris as thematic without being too on the nose.
I suppose this also raises the question of how much we want to contain the spread of Solarium/monitor where it goes and who are using it, if it (the material-- not the secrets, never the secrets) ever goes beyond our borders. Personally-- I kinda wanna hoard it and keep it unique to Helm (save for maybe potentially gifting very small amounts to the Stellarch or any trusted allies we acquire) that way we kinda have an 'I win' button if worst comes to worse-- but I can also see people wanting to leverage Solarium in the form of a 'trade good' to put ourselves in a better position within the United Empire.Nobles will want it to prolong their lives. Militaries will want it for ships and weapons, and merchants will want it for ships as well.
So, some thoughts for the future. We should see about researching the radiation Solarium emits. Ways to store and direct it, or amplify Solarium's natural production of it. Also, my other thought is that there's going to be an insane demand for Solarium, impure and pure. Nobles will want it to prolong their lives. Militaries will want it for ships and weapons, and merchants will want it for ships as well.
An important thing to remember as well is that your people have developed an attitude to solarium in that one has to prove themselves worthy of it as well, with all the duties and responsibilities that entails. In addition, the genetic sequence that resonates with solarium is only found naturally in your people due to constant exposure everyday to it over generations. So humans beyond your people aren't prepared for circuits, nor are they considered 'worthy' for the most part.I suppose this also raises the question of how much we want to contain the spread of Solarium/monitor where it goes and who are using it, if it (the material-- not the secrets, never the secrets) ever goes beyond our borders. Small mercies that it had been discovered then that one could acquire biological immunity with enough control over their circuits, but they looked on in worry at their children who could not elevate themselves as such.
Oh whoops. I meant Biological Immortality, basically very long natural lives for those who truly master their circuits.
If you want, sure. For this setting's naming schemes, I'm just rolling off Battletech rules of "cosmic mixing pot for all names valid regardless of culture."sooo... can we write in famous houses from mythology/history like the house of Pendragon or Charlemagne?
Ah, I was just about to post something more or less like that. That being said, in the purpose of not splitting plans over one point, I was kinda fiddling with alternate titles I can jive with. Could I interest you in:[X] Plan: The Sword-Flowers
-[X] [Name] House Iris
-[X] [Banner] A silver sword to the stars, intertwined in petals.
-[X] [Titles] Blade Master. The Blade Master leads the nation, supported by the Forge Smiths who forge the solarium and the Blade Brethren who wield it so.
-[X] [Sire] Martial Might. Your sire was the armed fist of the Stellarch, leading loyal vassal soldiers of the United Empire into battle against whatever enemies refused to heed decrees or orders sent forth from the Senate.
Space Knights gonna Space Knight

Just someting that folds in the other meaning of iris as well. Not that the sol in solarium and the mention of magic circuits glowing is a lot to run with, but that doesn't have to stop us. With how important solarium is to everything, tying it into the governments naming scheme strikes me as appropriate.
As far as I'm aware, you can't actually upload images to SV itself. You need to first put it on a host site like imgur, then link it from there.made a picture of it using CK3 character gen but couldn't figure out how to upload the pic onto SV from my computer.
