The Radiant Shepherd - A Warhammer 40K God-Emperor Quest

[X]Plan: Blessings and Visions
-[X] Guide the Tarot (1 Point)
--[X] Loki Sector, with particular focus on Rynn's World: Send visions throughout the sector of fire and unending green tide, mixed with warnings of misfortune and horrific loss due to simple errors in their defenses.
-[X] Send Visions (5 Points)
-- [X] Dante of The Blood Angels: Send Dante Visions of the planet Pandrax III, whisper of it's promises of salavation, for both his blood brothers and the Imperium at large, but warn of the threat that the Alaitoc Eldar might pose, that they might destory the relics upon defeat, and impress upon him the need of reclaiming Pandrax's genetech libraries over any physical victory.
-[X] Blessing (4 Points, 2 points each): tip fortune's favor for both men, do what we can to ensure both men survive and win the battles to come.
--[X] Ciaphas Cain
--[X]Ursarkar E. Creed

Let me explain. I want to Commune with the Captain-General the same as you but I would prefer to wait one more turn, I want to make the most of Communing with the Captain-General and right now all we'd be doing is mobilizing the Custodes for a war that won't happen for decades. There's many things more to worry about beyond just the 13th Black Crusade. I basically want another turn to figure out how to make the most of communing with the Captain-General and what we should focus the Adeptus Custodes on once we drag them out of purely defending us.

With my plan I hope to protect Rynn's World and thus prevent the Arch-Arsonist from building his empire, Strengthen both the Imperium at large and the Blood Angels and their many Successor Chapters, and protect the two people the update most focused upon. Like one of the voices directly said Cain shoul be blessed, that can't be ignored.

It already takes decades to move large forces from one end of the galaxy to another, so…besides, they don't need to all go to Obscurus, just be doing things.

And like, the issue with Cadia was never land forces. By all accounts the Imperium was winning the battle on Cadia itself, the issue is something crashed into the planet and blew it up. We don't need Custodes on Cadia, we need more ships. But like, we don't need those ships there for decades.

Just going to pop this here.

List of loyalist Primarchs and their current status:
Lion El'Jonson: Asleep within the Rock, only known by the Watchers in the Dark and the Emperor(?).
Jaghatai Khan: Status unknown. Missing after chasing Dark Eldar into the Webway.
Leman Russ: Status unknown. Missing in the Eye of Terror, searching for a way to revive the Emperor(?). Magnus is aware of his location.
Rogal Dorn: Status unknown. Missing but presumed dead. No remains were found, save his hand.
Roboute Guilliman: Wounded and asleep within a stasis field on Macragge. Possibly only recoverable with Eldar assistance(?).
Vulkan: Status unknown. Missing but presumed dead after the War of the Beast. Believed that he will return once the nine Artefacts of Vulkan are found.
Corvus Corax: Missing, hunting Daemon Primarchs within the Eye of Terror.

And of course:
Ferrus Manus: Deceased, killed by Fulgrim during the Horus Heresy.
Sanguinius: Deceased, killed by Horus during the Horus Heresy.

Could probably pop some observe actions next turn to try and find the missing/status unknown Primarchs, and try to get them to return if we don't want to wait/try and speed up Guilliman's recovery.

I thought about it but I feel like it would be largely a waste since all we barely on info about Huron Blackheart beyond "He's escalated from Tax Evasion to full Heresy and some people want to speak with him." If he's that obscured to us, the Primarchs will be far worse.

That's a possibility. Personally, I'm a bit more optimistic considering that the Emperor will likely have far more of a connection to the Primarchs than he does to some random space marine schmuck that's already slurping on Chaos juice.

If we want to get the Imperium moving, then getting a Primarch up and running again is one of the best ways to do it.

Here's an idea. We have Valoris order the head of the Assassinorum to our throne room, so we can commune with him easier and give him a big list of targets and info about them?

Fair point. So does the Imperium have any strong naval forces, or even just strong voidcraft, which could reasonably be redirected towards Cadia to assist in the defense? Something which might actually be able to stop a Blackstone Fortress from crashing into the planet.

There's the Phalanx, I suppose. Or maybe an Ark Mechanicus? That's about all I can think of.
