Godslayer
Godslayer
This was a dark day. Oriacarius had spent weeks after his most dire conversation with Kesar deciding how he was going to do his duty. Not that he would, that was decided within seconds of hearing what his duty was. But the how of it? How does one stop a Primarch? Let alone... end... one? Especially one corrupted by the warp? Even the original Lost were far more dangerous than their brother's were before being corrupted. Though, in a specific way... perhaps that was the answer? In all their battles with forces corrupted by the Warp, there had been patterns.

The daemonic Man of Iron was clearly corrupted by something that cared almost solely for melee combat, that craved battle and death, and its main body was a terror that matched even a Primarch. Yet it was clearly too focused on its current combat and was relatively easily picked off by battle brothers standing off at range. Perhaps that could be made us of?

Tales told of the last great battle of Valhalla, where Kesar had fought the Greater Daemon, it was clearly not as skilled, strong, or fast. But seemed ever better at planning for contingencies than himself. Yet, such plans can always be overwhelmed. Perhaps there was a way to make use of that. Especially the way daemons of this type seemed most often to be changed physically. He would have to speak with the Thousand Sons for ways to mitigate the psyker effects such a corruption would likely implement as well.

The battle on Sakini had shown what horrible monstrosities of flesh the daemons of plague could turn his brothers into. If something similar happened to Kesar, the being that would result would be neigh-immune to any small arms fire. Heavy weaponry or explosives would be required, and it would have to be at extreme range, to keep the diseased remnants of his lord from effecting his brothers. A terrifying thought, but one he refused to shy away from.

Beyond even these known dangers however Oriacarius planned further, he made contingencies, that is who and what he was, so he made plans for other ways corruption could take his father. Could take Kesar. He must always remember that his father might not always be true, even if his body still lived. Best to keep to the name especially in his thoughts, even if he continued to call him Lord, Primarch, and Father when in front of others.

One of his darkest fears was what would happen if his father were to be corrupted by all three of the daemonic types the Legion had faced so far. He hoped desperately that such could not happen, but if it could? He had to be ready. He had to be able to strike down the Lost, no matter the form they took. All of this he had to consider. And beyond that he had to implement. Much of the groundwork had been laid, but even still. He knew that the secret of these contingencies must not get out, and be used by the enemies of the Legion. And so he resolved to ensure the secret of them was kept even from himself. He would be mind-wiped, the knowledge kept of even his own contingencies kept from himself, and all involved to ensure their effectiveness, and that the dire acts would only be brought into play under specific conditions. Even so, subliminal effects would ensure he would be reawakened to the knowledge regularly to verify that his contingencies remained in place and effective. As well that new information could be used to implement more effective plans. Ever more contingencies put in place as new equipment, new knowledge, new circumstances appeared that allowed it. Though he desperately hoped that none of this would ever be needed.
What dedication cousin, could lead to you facing such dark duty without flinching?
He was the First Captain of the Eternal Wardens, and his watch would be Eternal, though he greatly desired for them to be unnecessary. It was time for his first mind-wipe. He entered into the chamber sat down, and the Magos got to work. Not knowing the reasoning behind such actions, but sworn to secrecy and even to have his own mind wiped of the act. For the good of Mankind. Upon finishing the First Captain walked away. Thinking that it was a bright day. Their Legion had a difficult assignment, but they were the best to accomplish it, trusted by the Eternal Sovereign himself to see it done, and they would see even the darkest worlds, corrupted by the Warp in totality, cleansed. How could they not with their Primarch at the head?

I never saw or even heard this kind of omake output from a living person. If he turns out to be a Ai I won't be surprised.
Ha! Nah, just I don't have to worry overmuch about making it all fit together (though I do try). As well, I don't have to make any options, or do any rolls. Just write out what I think would happen based on whatever the topic is. Apparently its worked out ok so far.

[] Godslayer - Oriacarius creates contingencies. It's how his tactics work and how he operates. After Kesar told him to create contingencies in case the Primarch himself fell, he did just that. The most secure contigency the first captain has, Godslayer is a plan that will never see the light unless the worst occurs. A desperate plan to kill a fallen Primarch, its contents were mindwiped from Oriacarius' own mind. It should never be enacted. *Gain the Godslayer Contingency*
[] Achilles - Oriacarius has contigencies for everything. One such contingency exists in case the First Captain himself is corrupted. This contingency was given to several random members of the Wardens, and wiped from their minds. Oriacarius himself made sure that he was mind wiped of its existence. In case the First Captain ever falls, this contingency will activate and mitigate the problem. *Gain the Achilles Contingency*
[] In Case of Emergency - ???

Your output is insane and I love it. So we have 13 Omakes a day. This makes the GM beyond pleased.

Gosh darn it all. You keep giving me more options! Like what even is "In Case of Emergency - ???"? Arghfraglemanargle! Still I've gotta go with Godslayer as the reward for the Godslayer omake. I guess now I have to do another for Achilles. Just in case.

We are not Psyker and kill a hell of demons and will kill far more, why not kill demons together? We got nice looking hot women with swords, still not interested?
"He has knowledge of Witchcraft and consorts with the Unclean. He is not to be trusted. The voice in my head says so. Now, excuse me, I must consult my totally trustworthy and pure ouija board, that has nothing to do with Witchcraft at all."

No, go for some sort of omake topic that can give immediate benefits or increase stat.

I've got plans for basically the entire research tree. But contingencies are important, so probably going to get Achillies first. I really don't want our first captain to fall and us not be prepared. And with these dice, hell that could happen next update.

I am really glad my plan to get all the technology inclined Primarchs and Fabricator General of Mars to work as a group worked.

Everything is going according to plan

Here are the rolls, so Vulkan loves you, Perturabo and Ferrus like the idea enough that they respect you asking them. The Fabricator General of Mars oiled his robes. Emps actually likes you. Apparently though, he believes in you enough that he gives you access to just the Sisters of Silence and partial bonus from recruits thanks to him liking you enough for that.

Vulkan: 88 + 10 (Nice Guy) + 20 (DAOT) + 10 (Relation) = 128
Ferrus Manus: 41 + 20 (DAOT) + 20 (???) = 81
Perturabo: 72 – 30 (Perturabo) + 10 (???) + 20 (???) = 72
Fabricator General of Mars: 99 + 50 (DAOT) + 25 (Reputation) = 174
Emperors Initial Reaction: 90 + ??? - ??? = ??
Sisters of Silence: 98 + ??? - ??? = ??
Specialized Weapons: 21 + ??? - ??? = ??
Psychic Lore: 35 + ??? - ??? = ??
How to Purify Tainted Worlds: 9 + ??? - ??? = ??

Achilles
Oriacarius is a careful man. He plans for everything. While he can trust his Lord, can he truly trust that he himself will never be Lost to the corruptive influences of the warp? Surely not, when so many of his Brothers have been Lost before him. With his position as First Captain, keeping himself pure is of great import, but he could not let his fears keep him from his duty. So with no way to guarantee his own purity. He would have to take steps, make contingencies, just in case he fell.

Beyond that though, he would need to have trusted personnel in place to lead when he was gone. Even beyond being corrupted, the chances of his own death are high. It was amazing he had survived at all, when tens of thousands of his Brothers had fallen. Best to ensure that he had contingencies in place, just in case. Other captains, given additional time with him to discuss tactics and strategy, to ensure that they all had sufficient skill. Maybe getting together for regular sessions, especially if Kesar would be there. Weird, why did he think of his name instead of Father? Odd... but unimportant. It would be best to spread the strategic and tactical skill of the Captains out to the rest of the leadership as best as possible, to ensure that if any one of them were to die, or worse be corrupted there would be others who could take up the slack.

Still for his own position, he could not be allowed to survive if he was corrupted. There could be no mercy save that of death for the Lost. For his own life, to serve his legion, he must make plans. Sergeants, Neophytes, Tech-Marines and Apothecaries, all had their records gone over, interviewed in ways that seemed like normal conversation, to find those he could trust to end him if the worst happened. Contingencies put into place to ensure they would not falter, others to ensure that they'd have the opportunity. Even with this, secrecy was paramount. The Legion as a whole did not need to worry about such dark thoughts as this, not after so many of their Brothers had Fallen.

Eventually he had a list of names, those he felt would be best suited to remove the threat of a Lost First Captain. Explosives experts, snipers, melee champions, apothecaries, tech-marines. All potentially required if any of a variety of different forms of potential corruption were to manifest themselves. He interviewed each potential candidate, ensuring their suitability for the task at hand, and when he found ones unsuited had their minds wiped. When he found ones that were suited however, he explained his concerns.

To a man all those that he chose for the task were appalled at the thought. But upon further reflection they realized the danger such an event could pose. They understood that it would be the darkest act they could think of, to be part of a plan to destroy their First Captain. But they further realized it was just his body, if the contingency were to be activated, it would no longer be the First Captain the so respected within that body. But some daemon thing infesting his flesh. To remove it would be a service to his memory. Just another name added to the roll of the Lost. And what a terrible thing it is, that they had so many names already. At least with the fallen it was expected that their Battle Brothers would die in battle, serving the Eternal Sovereign.

The individuals, scattered all throughout the Legion were briefed on their parts, what to do, and under what circumstances they were to do their part. Many of them were to work together with others of the Legion picked for this task, others were to do their parts solo, these were the most dedicated of the Legion, willing even to go to such extremes as ramming a thunderhawk directly into the First Captain, if nothing else seemed to work. Whatever it took to ensure that he could not damage the Legion more with his knowledge of how it worked, and the contingencies in place. Oh Cousins, what terrible knowledge you face, and yet what unflinching hearts by which you face it. My Father must learn of this, and what it might mean.
All of these Battle Brothers took their duty seriously, and while they were mind-wiped to ensure secrecy of such terrible plans, they were all implanted with subliminal triggers to ensure if they were needed, they would be ready. For those they Cherish, they shall not falter.

Kesar and the Aftermath - A First Captain's Respect - After losing half the Legion in a battle, Oriacarius has grown closer to his Primarch. As such, there is remarkeably little tension between the two. They have become family at this point. *No chance of tension between Kesar and Oriacarius*

Adeptus Mechanicus and the Rite of Remembrance - Stirrings of something more - ?????????

Machine Spirit Research - Machine Spirit Research - After having numerous machine spirits of the Eternal Wardens grow more responsive, the Mechanicus now wonder if there are other ways to please the machine spirit. This has openned up a new field of research which is slightly more accepted than other forms of innovation. *The Mechanicus grow slightly less conservative*

A First Captain's Independence - A First Captain's Independence - After a disastrous command, Oriacarius has worked hard in improving his ability to command independently of his Primarch. Thankfully this has not strained their relationship, but nevertheless, Oriacarius is more independent than most First Captains. *If Kesar falls to chaos, Oriacarius will not join him*

Godslayer - Godslayer - Oriacarius creates contingencies.

Achilles - Achilles - Oriacarius has contingencies for everything. One such contingency exists in case the First Captain himself is corrupted. This contingency was given to several random members of the Wardens and wiped from their minds. Oriacarius himself made sure that he was mind wiped of its existence. In case the First Captain ever falls, this contingency will activate and mitigate the problem. *Gain the Achilles Contingency*

The Eleventh Son - A Parent's Love - Kesar had a family as a child. He was one of the only Primarch that did, and this experience helped him. He loved his adopted parents. He fought alongside his father and healed alongside his mother. When his father passed and his mother's health deteriorated, he cared for her. Yet, he was denied something important. His mother's last moments were never seen by him as he had to fight a Lord of Change. Yet, Kesar loved them, and he knew, that his parent's loved him. Now, Kesar raises his Legion, as a father does their son. *Legion gains +20 when Kesar is leading from the front*

A Calm Day on Tera - Alpha Legion Ragnarok Contigency - After hearing of the events on Gehenna and the Warden's reaction, Alpharius/Omegon have created a serious of contingencies in case a Primarch falls. Ear of Mars - Ear of Mars - Kelbor-Hal doesn't like the Emperor or many of the Space Marines. He does not think of the Emperor as the Omnissiah and wishes the Space Marine Legions didn't hoard their STCs. Yet, the Eternal Wardens are different. They are true servants of the Omnissiah. As such, he is on good terms. *Gain Kelbor-Hal as an even higher relationship than he is currently*

The Kraft-Man's Meal (non cannon) - Mac and cheese is rediscovered

Ruminations on the Void Shield Maintenance Manuals - Unlock unique research: Aetheric Energy - Master : Requires Void Shield Interaction

The Doom Marines - A Warden's Rage - The XIth Legion hates daemons. These foul creatures turned their brothers into Lost Ones and felled half of their Legion. They rage at these beings and refuse to join them. The only thing daemons deserve is a boelter to the face. *+10 to resisting chaos corruption*

Ruminations on Void Shields - Magos Averenth - Following Kesar's meeting with Magos Averenth, the member of the Mechanicus requested a transfer to the Eternal Wardens. Now, he assists Kesar with void shield design and the principles behind pleasing the machine spirit. *DCs for void shield research halved*

Oriacarius's Redundant Department of Redundancy Department. - Lessons From Oriacarius - Following the deaths of half the Legion, and his Primarch's request for contingency plans, Oriacarius began to create various contingencies. By necessity, these involved other members of the Eternal Wardens. As a result, many of the First Captain's Brothers learned much about how Oriacarius functioned. From these teachings, some of the First Captain's wisdom would be retained. *Oriacarius' critical failure reroll will never be lost, even if he dies or falls to chaos*

The New Patterns - Mark IIB Power Armor - After spending weeks working on the design of the Warden's power armor, Kesar came up with a series of improvements to the existing power armor. While it would take time to implement, the resulting bonus would certainly be worth it. *+5 to Legion Combat when entire Legion is equipped. Number produced is equal to the yearly production points*

The Artisan's Labour - Gifts from Mars - There are many aspects of Kesar's armor that are impressive. Like all of the Primarch's personal wargear, there are thousands if not millions of interconnected componenets. Kesar's armor somehow has more thanks to the respect of the Martian Fabricator General. This has led to his armor performing slightly better than expected. *Armor has an additional +5 bonus to combat*

The Doom Marines Chapter Inquisitorial briefing - The Doom Slayer - ???

The Sigillite - Cultural Expeditions - So much was lost during the Age of Strife. Technology, science, knowledge. Yet the one thing that is overlooked, is the culture of humanity. It has been forgotten, but the Sigillite works to relearn the culture of the ancients. *Cutlural Expeditions begin in the Imperium*

Uophet - This is the option you shouldn't pick

Ruoult - They are fighting a group hostile to the Imperium

The First - Simulated Battles - During miscellaneous simulations run by Kesar and Oriacarius, a problem emerged. In the event of total strategic surprise and with no relevant contingencies, the Wardens as a whole would be slow to respond. To solve this, improved communication lines were needed. Some ideas involved a predetermined code built for brevity, improved vox communications, a communications support team, etc. *Improved Communication - In the event of total strategic surprise, plans can still be made without penalty*

The Wonderful Weapon Emporium - Materials Science - Kesar spent some time working to find materials that could improve Astartes power armor. Sadly, a lack of knowledge about material properties among the Mechanicus meant he had to manually test each material. Perhaps with some time, he could prevent this from happenning again. *Unlock Material Science Tech Tree (Basically a pure knowledge tree)*

Now Begins | A Daemon Hunter's Fall - A Precipice - When someone is on the brink of falling to chaos, there are ussually signs. Abnormal behavior, subtle mutations, etc. With the Wardens, when they are on the verge of falling to chaos, this changes are not minor. It is as if they have been replaced with a new person. *+25 to detecting corruption within the Wardens*

The End of a Fallen Daemon Hunter - A Final Mercy - Facing corrupted brothers is a difficult task. Merely seeing their faces has been known to make Astartes fight at less than their full strength. Nevertheless, they still try to persevere. The Wardens on Valhalla and Sakini have spread an important belief. The only thing they can give the Lost that used to be there brothers, is a final mercy. One last boelter shell fired in their honor, one last sword strike in their honor, one final grand explosion to cremate their corpse. *No Morale Penalty for Fighting Corrupted Astartes*

Kesar Dorlin - Remembrancer Depiction - Engravings of the Fallen - A famous tradition amongst the Eternal Wardens involves carving the names of those who have died into their armor. Kesar's armor takes this one step further. Instead of a name, each fallen Warden leaves behind a story. Their life's actions, their triumphs, their failures, their virtues, their faults, and most importantly, their last moments, their last thoughts, their last feelings. All of this is immortalized in the Primarch's armor. *?????*

Chronicles of Baldur: Aetus and it's Fall - A Watchful Eye - Warp corruption is insidious. It seeps into the cracks of society and in the vastness of the Imperium, some planets are always overlooked. Harsha, Maharishi of Experience - Don't Underestimate the Old Man - The Wardens are trained by an old martial artists. Isandula Verona and Her Legacy - Mystery Box

Chronicles of Baldur: Aetus and its Fall | A Governor's Story - Hell has Broken Loose - When a world falls, there is a brief moment at the precipice. A scant few hours where actions have unheard of consequences. The opportunity to save a world. Yet, all too often, nothing happens. The actions of billions have no effect as they cry for someone to save them. Perhaps, they should have an oppurtunity to save themselves. *Hades Contingency, provides a roll that when above a 90, always allows a resistance*

Chronicles of Baldur: Aetus and it's fall | Captain Baldur's Opening Speech - On the Blood of our Brothers - The Wardens tend to deploy into high intensity conflicts. When they arrive on a world, it is ussually embroiled in war. This has caused large scale casualties among the Wardens, to the point where a warcry has been created to acknowledge it. *+5 to rolls after suffering losses*

Pre-Dark Eldar Engagement with Squad Reinhart - Mixed Squads - Following the disaster on Gehenna, the squads in the Eternal Wardens had to be shuffled around repeatedly. This meant that every Astartes worked with a wide variety of their brothers. This helped ensure that they could support their brothers, even if they had never fought alongside them before. *No penalty for fighting alonside side unusual support units "

Dark Age Architecture: A Brief Review - Dark Age Architecture - The ancient's had excellent building practices. Their buildings were beautiful and compact, able to produce more than Imperial structures. A recent resurgence of architectural practices of the ancients has resulted in a reduction of wasted production. Now, buildings in Kesar's domain have less regalia, but this allows for increased production *+1% Production Points*

New Orders, New Routine - Same Old Shit, Tortured by the Captains | Thule's Speech - New Orders, New Routine - When the Wardens heard that they would be fighting daemons for the forseeable future, they adapted. Ruoult Religion: A Brief Overview - The Xeno Crusade - Following the discovery of the Imperium and their Great Crusade, a Spiritual Warlord declared that they would assist the Imperium and the living Great Spirit. To this end, the Great Crusade now is assisted by Xenos. *Ruoult declare a crusade in allegiance to mankind*

1st Training: Runic Names, Power through Unbreakable Bonds - Those Denied Salvation - When someone falls to chaos, they don't just die. Their soul is stripped from them. In the Wardens, these names are etched into boelter shot and chainsaw teeth in the shape of a banish rune. Now, they Lost have some measure by which to redeem themselves. *Banish Rune Bonus Increased to +10*

Ruoult History Part One: Dawn Age - Xeno Artwork - The Ruoult did not suffer an Age of Strife like the Imperium. As such, their artwork and culture remains intact. This has resulted in many people becoming interested in seeing what a different culture has created in terms of visual styles. Sadly, the sparsity of Ruoult artwork limits its use. *Valhallan art rolls get a +5*

Ruoult History Part Two: Age of Empire - Holy Code of Honor - This book was written millenia ago by a Ruoult and outlines a set of accepted behaviors. This book has helped relations with the Imperium, since many of the rules promote unity. *+5 to Ruoult integration rolls*

2nd Training: Apprentices to the Witch Hunters, learning from the teat of wisdom - Your Watch is Eternal - During the training with the Witch Hunters, the Wardens were taught an important lesson. Corruption is insidious and ever lasting. Once a single person falls, it is only a matter of time before more fall. As such, it is important to make sure that your watch is eternal even when with your own brothers. *+25 to detecing corruption within the Wardens*

Ruoult History Part Three: Age of Exploration - Oceanic Warfare - The Ruoult are experienced with warfare accross oceans. Since they joined the Imperium, their knowledge is now our knowledge, and it would be a waste not to use it. *+10 to combat on ocean worlds*

Ruoult History Part Four: Age of Consolidation - Xeno Command Structure - The Ruoult command structure provides an interesting idea. Having a skilled psyker alongside the commander would enable some rather interesting tactics. Telepathy could send orders quicker, diviniation could predict future results, etc. Of course, the end result is likely to be unexpected. *First round of combat, roll twice pick the best*

The Fires of Industry - Mark IIB Production Facilities - Gain 30,000 sets of Mark IIB Armor

Ruoult History Part Five: Age of Enlightenment Begins - Xenofacts - The Xeno pillars are an incredible work of psionic architecture. By manipulating their warp reflection, they are able to create an adjustable harmonic wave with a psyker that boosts their power. Of course the tuning process is risky, but much has been learned about Warp Reflections. Warp Reflections Completed

Ruoult History Part Six: Age of Enlightenment Continues - Alternate Design Principles - The Ruoult are Xenos, and as such design their ships around different design ideals than humanity. You will retain three things, the fury at the cultists, the fire of your souls, and the steel of your will. Make use of these. *Wardens never suffer morale penalties*

What's New In The World Of Warhammer: Dorlinian Continuity Part 4? - GM answers "In depth, what exactly are Chaos planning to do the four Primarch you named via attribute - how exactly are they getting them turned against us?"
1a. For Horus, they plan to slowly fan his jealousy of you by having him begin to throw himself into the Crusade more and have Kesar perform more heroic deeds while Horus never understands why Kesar is being praised. Then, when he is jealous and bitter, they will use their panic buttons to turn him.
b. For Dorn, he failed so many checks repeatedly. As is, nearly a third of his Legion fell to Khorne and the Alpha Legion and Dorn failed to notice. Basically, they plan to just build up to 50%, where Khorne will use a panic button to summon one of his Exalted to have a glorious carnage with Dorn.
c. For Magnus, Slaanesh plans to give a bunch of daemonic artifacts for Magnus to research to tempt him, which is giving Tzeentch an aneurysm because he wants Magnus.
d. For Khan, Slaanesh is trying to get him to delve into racing more as well as culture. However, the other Chaos Gods do not want this.

What's New In The World Of Warhammer: Dorlinian Continuity Part 5? - GM answers "Reveal all the bonuses for the last omake."
For I Must Scream - He never wanted this. He just wanted to show that Kesar was harming humanity. Lorgar never planned to betray his father so why did he leave. The question plagued his mind over and over again. Why was he doing this? Why? It shouldn't be happening. For a moment, he understood what he had fallen to and screamed. Then, the clarity was lost, and he continued to worship the four. *Lorgar has a 25% chance to ignore an order from the Chaos Gods*
We were Heroes - Kesar and Lorgar were Primarchs. They were the ones who humanity looked up to as saviors. In the dark times that humanity had fallen to, they were the ones that led humanity. Now, one of the heroes has fallen. Still, Kesar remains, continuous in his vigil, and will continue to act as the champion that humanity deserves. *+5 to combat from extremely loyal human troops*
Death Comes - Lorgar the Lost, the Fallen Primarch, so many names for the one Lost to humanity. Kesar was the one he hated most, and Kesar would be the one to end him. It was a necessary evil that Kesar would shoulder. His brother was Lost for eternity and the only mercy that could be given was death. *25% chance to true death Lorgar if killed by Kesar*

Man and Monster - For I Must Scream - He never wanted this.

What's New In The World Of Warhammer: Dorlinian Continuity Part 6? - +10 to a roll of the GM's choice

What's New In The World Of Warhammer: Dorlinian Continuity Part 7? - Lorgar has been working on trying to find a way out of the Eye of Terror and he has found a ship that can get him to Cadia. He plans to land after Dorn is hopefully defeated and convince him to join Chaos with his stupidly high diplomacy, which has been further boosted by Slaanesh to the point that just listening to him triggers corruption rolls.

What's New In The World Of Warhammer: Dorlinian Continuity Part 8? - So, you remember back when in a Daemon Hunter's Fall you had one of the Lost Ones die after his brother sacrificed himself? Well, I rolled a while back to see if he survived, and he did. He also openned a warp rift and is working on trying to find some way to corrupt the Wardens. However, he is just one person, so he has been searching for artifacts of old every year in order to use. Then, once he found an artifact Scafrir died giving you enough resistance to make the artifact not worth it, so he has been trying to link up with Lorgar.

The Eleventh Son
The Eleventh Son

Here's a nice piece to accompany this, a Valhallan mood, as they say:

The Eleventh Son was no stranger to suffering.

Back to the moment where he awoke from his pod, where he felt the planet's chilling cold. In front of him were a pack of madman, covered in blasphemous symbols and reeking of filth. Shouting nonsense and raising a blade, their leader was prepared to sacrifice him to their wretched god. Before the Son could retaliate however, the leader was suddenly removed of their head. A company of warriors had descended upon the lunatics, guns blazing. It wasn't long before the enemies were completely routed, and the Son was quickly clothed and whisked to their home in Kalapa.

Kelsang and Nymia Dorlin were their names. One a humble soldier and other a steadfast medic, only remaining in the military because of their experience. Both were met and wed in the field of battle, they gave their all to protect their home and friends. The couple often joked they took him in because he was too adorable, despite the Son reminding the mother she was sterile. Still, they duo were not without scars. With each day, Kelsang returned with more scars. With each day, Nymia failed to save more lives. Nevertheless, the Eleventh Son watched as they pushed on without hesitation.

"For the ones we cherish," Nymia explained as she applied healing herbs onto a wounded soldier. "For everyone's blood and sweat, we must push on."

"Our God didn't place us on these mountains just to have us do nothing," Kelsang muttered as he cleaned his autogun. "Though many died on the way, all of us are chasing for that light at the end."

The Eleventh Son was no stranger to suffering, but such was the truth to living.

---

The Eleventh Son was no stranger to evil.

He witnessed the atrocities committed by those his parents call "Cultists," heretical followers of blasphemous gods, wishing to bring the the creatures known as daemons into this world. Kesar learned to detest these monsters, betraying their fellow man to sow needless chaos. As a soldier, the Son's father vowed to keep them away from his family. Although the Son argued he could easily take care of himself, Kelsang still insisted anyway.

It was unexpected the labs would be attacked by the cults. As the halls burned, innocents were slaughtered and subjected to fates no one should deserve. Luckily, the local regiment managed to meet the cultists and engaged in intense fighting. Kesar proved helpful in the researchers' survival, as he managed to escort the them to safety before seeking to assist the soldiers against the enemies. But in midst of the the chaos, the world slowed down; a sight of his father Kelsang, with his right arm severed by some cultist.

"Kesar…" Kelsang rasped, before crumbling onto the ground.
It wasn't long before Kesar plunged his bayonet out of the last cultist. His father will live, they said, but it's unlikely he could ever fight again. Knowing the government's policies, Kesar would have to pick up his load in order to make things meet. And for his family's sake, he will do it without hesitation.

Kesar Dorlin was no stranger to evil, but it allows distinction between what is right and wrong.

---

Kesar Dorlin was no stranger to loss.

The man stared at the grave of his foster mother and father. It was an unremarkable grave, with naught but two headstones with their names etched along the surface. Old age, they said, for all that was available to the Wyrdseeker could not stave off the passage of time. Kesar remembered the moment where his father was cremated to ash, and scattering them on the cliff side which the couple had found him. He also remembered the days which mother would stare longingly towards the horizon before going back to work. And even as Nymia's memories eroded with age, she would never forget the name "Kelsang."

Since Kesar was fighting the winged daemon, he missed Nymia's final moments. They had already cremated her, and given the urn to Kesar. It was a private moment, and rightfully so; for in Kalapa, death of a family member is a quiet matter. Kesar looked down at the still-filled urn, and placed it back in his coat. He planned to spread the ashes onto the same cliff side, so mother could join father in their final journey. Although life was harsh, Kesar was glad they were there for him.

As if by instinct, Kesar looked towards the skies. From above the clouds, glints of gold and steel reflected across the mountainsides.
The future Primarch closed his eyes, and walked down the stairs.

Kesar Dorlin was no stranger to loss, but with every farewells comes new encounters.
Who knows, perhaps he could finally have a family of his own.
This way, he can finally repay the time the couple had spent on him.

THE OMAKES WILL NEVER END
heh.

With each day, Kelsang returned with more wounds. With each day, Nymia failed to save more lives. Nevertheless, the Eleventh Son watched as they pushed on without hesitation.

"For the ones we cherish," Nymia explained as she applied healing herbs onto a wounded soldier. "For everyone's blood and sweat, we must push on."

"Our God didn't place us in these mountains just to have us do nothing," Kelsang muttered as he cleaned his autogun.

"Kesar…" Kelsang rasped, before falling unconscious.

Who knows, perhaps he could finally have a family.

THE OMAKES WILL NEVER END
heh.

I'm not crying, you're crying!
