So fleshy Rose isn't a puppet controlled by Skeleton Rose behind her?
Oh, that's what you mean.So fleshy Rose isn't a puppet controlled by Skeleton Rose behind her?
Well played.
So I was wondering earlier.
I've been running the character's thought processes and such and going for big updates to avoid pointless votes.
Do you like that system, or not?
Like with the sheet of naming situation. The book told you to do it, and so I rolled to see if the character would actually do it.
Would you have liked a vote there instead, or no?
The pro is that you'd have a little more control, sometimes pointlessly.
The con is that you'd have to wait through more votes and because of this, the game would run even slower.

The way it is I'm gathering personality from your votes and expanding on said personality.
Like for instance, trait gained from succeeding with the book roll, was "follows directions when in danger instead of panicking"
So if another situation arose, there would be no roll. That would be your response to that situation..

Thoughts?
The huge decisions will always be done by voting, allowing the overwrite of bad traits with better ones. If for instance your life was actually on the line there? I would have made it a vote. It's not to bad, but I wouldn't want to end up with a bunch of bad traits from a few bad rolls.
I agree as well, but I doubt it would slow down too much. Probably run at about 60% to 70% speed. Less substance per update though...I like the idea of more control...but I'm leery of slower paced games...hmm. keep things as is?
I don't either, personally. Just worried about losing people's interest with pointless votes.
