Death's are just getting younger these days-Post Six
[x]Rose's office
---
You choose to ignore your fatigue, and neglect throwing yourself back at navigation. You have an appointment to make.

'Focus on where I should be, not where I am.' You focus on the idea of the office, and even feel yourself start to be some place else, as weird as such a feeling is. But you have a hard time actually finalizing your jump. 'It appears without something to ground me to a location mentally, I can't actually finish... The rule book, of course!' And with the thought of the rule book you find yourself standing elsewhere.

The room around you is not necessarily without color, as much as blacker than night. Orange crystals float around the room in circles, leaving a glow underneath them that reflects off of an out of place brown desk. On this desk is some kind of advanced computer, a stack of papers, and a picture of a young girl with pointy ears and green eyes. She's rather tanned, yet surprisingly elven looking. Wouldn't look out of place in a fantasy movie, if they casted girls who you're not even completely sure qualify for the word "teenager". She has wire-frame glasses on, and a blood red dress that says... well you're not sure, it's not a design you're particularly familiar with. But it fits with her silver hair. Behind her is a skeleton in black robes. Runes appear to have been sown in, but you're not sure what they mean. He's got a Scythe on his back, the blade tinted a shiny crimson. Probably the most unique thing about them however would be that they're both wearing party hats.

Course there's no point to examining this photo, as she's sitting behind the desk and staring at you while impatiently tapping a pencil on the desk.

"Can I help you?" It sounds official but given her stature and younger age, you can't help but find it oddly cute. "Yes, I'm looking for Rose."

"That would be me, you must be Forgotten's current student."

You go still for a moment, trying to match the image you had from the rule book to the girl in front of you. Luckily your high intelligence comes into the picture and stops you from expressing such though. And you manage to put on a grateful smile.

"The book said to come to you when I finished with Forgotten."

"Good, so you didn't die. Already ahead of the last seven people. Here." And she holds out her hand, a small pocket book resting in it. "These are the actual rules you need to know at this moment. Now go get some rest before you read that. Nothing in it is exactly urgent, and Forgotten likes field training, so you're gonna want to be well rested."

You take the book, but before you can open it she taps your hand and you're suddenly alone in a plain room with a single bed. Apparently the teleport things trick can be done on others as well. It's weird, she's obviously been here a while, yet she looks very much alive. Where your skin is already lacking in any real complexion, she's vibrant. Maybe being a Death works differently for younger ages?

[X] look for an alarm clock or something similar, set it up then sleep.

I knew it. Rose does look like a little girl Saying you can't confirm or deny anything is practically tantamount to confirming something.

I should have known that the way to get in good with Bony McCrimsonmurder would be to try to kill him.

You'd think. But I kind of say that with wrong hypothesis too. Grown to love that "aww shit" reaction when people realize they're wrong after getting their hopes up.

If there was a "relationship" bar, you would have shot up 20 points.

My overactive suspicion is immediately whispering to me that rose is in some way both the elven youth and the runed skeleton.

[X] Sleeeeeeep.

There's a pretty funny story behind Rose, actually.
Not sure when it'll actually come up, to be honest. You'd already know it by now if you had picked her in option 2. But you picked Forgotten, making your contact with her much less mandatory.

Don't ask me, the internet came up with it I'm just using it so that I sound hip and cool with the kids y'know? People still say tubular right? because I assumed everyone else knew the meaning of it.
Despite being 19, people twice my age are more informed in today's slang than I am.
Hell, pretty much everything I'm caught up in is because a friend of mine forced me to use Tumblr. It was either that or be forced to use the Rake...

[X] Wonder why a death needs to even sleep at all, and then wander around for a while, to explore a little bit more. Hell, maybe meet a few other residents. It would be nice to meet other deaths. Wait... Nevermind, just read the book thoroughly, and take a power nap.

You realize the voting software reads your votes seperately because they're of different context right?
So even though your vote is "[X]Read the damn rules already! Then Sleep." It won't actually count towards that?
And since no-one else is going to vote for that when they can just vote for the wording everyone's already voting for, your vote is entirely wasted?
