But anyway, how long do we even have hair? If we lose our flesh after a few weeks, I presume we start to lose hair even earlier.

Depends. Technically you CAN rebuild said flesh and such, but it does require maintenance. Trivial Maintenance, but it's still something. Something of which most Deaths have been alive long enough to not bother with in the least.

But if it mattered to you, you could indeed maintain it.

I like all of them, admittedly the second one the most but I think that's more the art itself and less the actual hair style. Can never tell though, haha.

But if you guys are interested in the first, I can definitely work with that.

But what if the first roll as 70, and we wanted to try for better? What if we struck out, three times, progressively worse each time?

    After that, oh so thrilling visit, you decide that it might be a good idea to at-least get to know some of how your tool works. Rose said it'd be a field mission, and you're not sure how comfortable you are not knowing how to fight in a battle where death is a real possibility. You didn't exactly like dying in the first place...

    You think for a minute on where might be a good place. The place where you woke up? No, seemed important... Wish you had explored yesterday. Is there like a training hall or something? You focus on the words 'training hall' in your head, you should be there, not here. And then suddenly, you are.


    The room around you is very plain, yet very large. White walls, white floor, while ceiling. It's like someone just slapped it together without a care in the world. Yet it feels harder than most material on your feet..The orange cloak is... interesting, and all, but some shoes would have been nice. Maybe something to block the vibrations in your steps from ricocheting back into your feet.

    The most interesting thing going on however would be in the corner of the room. Rose and the skeleton from the picture are there, fighting, it seems. It's making her look foolish, dodging her strikes despite their grace. You have a hard time keeping track of their movements, but you know deep in your gut. Just from looking, that despite the fact that she's moving much faster than you've ever seen anyone move? She's being toyed with. Of course this observation is made pointless a few seconds later when she yells.

    "Take me seriously you bastard!" Much harsher language than she used yesterday for sure. It had an effect though, suddenly she's on the defensive. But not for long, it quickly plants a knee to her stomach, before following up with a spin kick directly into her face. She flies back but before she gets very far at all he's behind her again, grabbing her by her hair and ramming her face first into the ground. It's astoundingly brutal. Even knowing you don't stand a chance, you feel the need to intervene.

    'come to me!' The book from before rips out of the air into your hand, and you repeat the action from yesterday, this time naturally flowing through you like you'd done it a hundred times. You can feel the book's mutual anger flowing through you, and the pressurized ball in front of you gets even smaller from the bond. The volatile energy completely under your will. 'Rise!' And the ball leaves your hand, flying towards the skeleton like a bullet.

    It isn't until the ball is half-way there before you realize it's an explosive, and Rose is right next to him. You know you don't have the time to say anything, it moving much faster than your mouth would. Your horror increasing as the ball gets closer to him without him even looking.

    As it gets to him, mental screams and sirens go off at record speeds, absolutely sure you've done more harm than good. Before it's suddenly... just gone. Well, from the sound behind you, it's probably safe to guess it hit the wall behind you, but.. how?

    And then the skeleton is gone as well, and a voice croaks behind you. "We were just playing, no need to get homicidal. Hahahaaa."

    You spin around and meet a bony smile. "Playing?"

    "Of course, if I was serious I would have used my weapon." He points to the crimson scythe on his back. "She asked me to take her seriously for a second, so I did. But you'll note, I never used my weapon." And it's true, he didn't. But if that's his playing, what the hell is his murderous?

    "She'll be fine, she's a strong girl. Tell her to wash up before she gets back to work once she regains consciousness. Wouldn't do to have her bleeding on the papers." And like that, its gone.

    "Holy hell." You exclaim before falling to your knees. Your dishevelled appearance shining in the damn floor. Dirty red hair, dull gold eyes. You really do look dead, you're not even sure you'll bleed. 'you won't' the words in the book in your hand say.

    (32+17=49)-(50)=(Negative 1)
    But you look over to the girl on the floor across the room, she's bleeding. What's different? Is she really ok?

    Well, you have time to kill before she'll apparently wake up. What to do?

    He might be a dick, but I highly doubt he's just going to let someone die after sparring with them.

    0. On one hand this particular skeleton is far too.. "fuck it" to actually care about said fireball. If it had actually hit him and exploded, that'd be a different story.
    On the other hand, no, that's it.

    It's only polite especially since we're the one who put her in that position. And I'm honestly hoping we have a mentor figure not intent on killing us.
