The Amber Age: Pantheon Edition (Collaborative)

I, for one, hold out the hope that Mr. Tries-To-Be-More-Legendary-Than-Us Kingface got gutted by a shuriken (Like, gutted, dead, and his soul got eaten or something but not completely obliterated in that he managed to put up a fight), such that we can roll in with our amazing death powers and start smiting whatever decided to come our way whilst we napped. That's the best possible outcome, really. One of them, at least.

So it's an entire slumber party hiding in behind the coats in the closet, by your idea?

.... That's depressingly accurate.
Can I just note this is insightful?
Allow me to express my thoughts from Discord again in song form

This is not a metaphor. Everything literally needs to be burning NOW:cry:

You guys are sending mixed singles to my Murder Boner you know? First you want me not to be so rage killy then you rate my burn it all down post as Insightful? Its rather confusing:confused:

In this case dude, what's happened is tooooooootally grounds for a murder boner.

So I can go back to my crazy burn it all down to the ground with some extra zombie and worse terror genocide plans? As in the full there will be no mercy as I scourge the earth of all they were with furious flame and seething ash to rip their flesh from their bones and crack open their veins as they are consumed by the maw of scorching fury?

...I'm tempted to jump ship myself to be frank, there's an idea I've been toying with since the days of Gaerig...Well, Maybe if we remove some of the current crop I'll try my hand.
Until then-
Things are exploding, Ninja by the sounds of it capitalized heavily on our being asleep and Panda's non-combat focus to roll us in the martial, I'm guessing. We're not dead by a long shot-
Aside from possibly losing the shiny Gilgamesh Ari'See and 'Kali should be able to survive and take support roles in the civilization to follow...
What I'm wondering about is the other fellows. They're going to be hungry, and Ninja by the sounds of it is intending on going full raid-boss...I smell oppertunity there.
Or yanno, he could do like Harzivan nearly did back in the River Mother times and just solo EVERYBODY like a boss.

For everyone who is worried do remember we did vote to be the firestorm, on a tropical island, so worst comes to worse we recreate what is currently happening in Hawaii.
Yes will BURN THEM ALL!!! THEY WILL SCREAM AND THRASH IN PAIN AS THE ASH AND FLAME RIPS THEM IN FUCKING HALF!!!!!
So yeah burn everything down to the fucking bedrock. Once that is done I might go back from full reactive pyromaniac mode. And even then I say we go full Death Mountain of Burning Death with a extra side of Infernal Death and you guessed it Flaming water and anything else we can add to Fire and Death, Death.

The hope is we will build to synergize. Ari'see to tend to the living, to have the hordes of the wilds at her command, Ah'Wan to Rule and oversee the mortals, and perhaps bridge the pantheon to the common man. And Us, to care for the dead, to gaze upon the world, and to wield our mystic secrets to protect those who worship us...
So, what did we gain from getting Fire? Aside from warnings that our foes just jumped up big-time and Panda got to arrange the garden how he likes for 5 turns...I dunno. Here's hoping our new-found power over fire will let us put out fires as well as start them!

I was thinking that it would be an important part of our ritual and symbolism, given our birth from ashes and funerary pyres.

Let me quote a thing.
Now for some Wheel of Time patient talk of metaphysical bullshit. Let us look at for you and mine plan the various symbols in it. Fire is life searing and blazing, the flames flicker and dance with the force of energy and time as they burn. It consumes the meat, purges the bone and scourge the tendons. It destroys all it devours and as it rages and froths with fulminating fury, ripping and tearing through itself it goes mad with its wild passion until only ash remains. In Fire can both be found the pulsating beat of vibrant and chaotic life and the still silence and broken ash of death. Fire is the passion and rage, the fury and joy. It is the burning light held in all souls be it to drive them to deeds of rawest nightmare or greatest beauty. Life is a wild and savage thing uncaring of the cooling winds of reason or the stone of logic that it burns on. Life will burn through all its fuel to leave only ash having reduced all around it to a barren husk. Clouds of ash cover the sky boiling with the seething lighting and rumbling with the shaking thunder. The earth is blasted back by by waves of sable molten stone and the sky quivers from the detonation of flame.

So that is the Fire but what of the Shadow? What of the Black Moon and Sun, what are they? If fire is raging destruction and bursting vitality then the Shadow is what comes after. The oblivion of sound and the void of color that we all can feel in our bones and taste in our blood but never grasp. The Shadow is a hand waiting to catch you after the fire has rent and torn, after the holocaust of a blazing inferno has scarred the world. Where there is fire dancing bright so wil there be a Shadow cast from it and so it is that in Life there must be the trap door of Death just waiting to open beneath you.
These are just some thoughts of mine where we want to take for this plan of you and mine as well @King Tharassian who I think is a part of it now? I think of these two main symbols of Fire and from that Ash and the Shadow or Darkness of the Black Moon and Sun in the concept of a Death God.

Just a little frustrated that our spirit feels useless compare to everything else going on. Our inspires feel like they are practically useless. Our one trait can't be used without harming our own villages. In general we got overshadowed by An'Wah'Hei by the 4th turn.
