Having the vaguest of memories of the general layout of the place, Ken knows where the Garden was in comparison to where he was...
It's unfortunate that he doesn't remember the hallways and such to get to there...Well, unfortunate for everybody else. Because he never thought of going through the halls and is instead going through the hall's walls. With the sheer size and extreme weight that even with his size is more than what it should be, he's making his way both faster with each wall broken and unscathed due to what bone and chitin plating have grown in a thin layer over his skin.
Eventually, he makes it to the Garden, which is filled with delicate carefully grown veggies, all kinds of plants growing in clear man-made streams and even the sky, and trees blossoming in the artificial yet still sun-like light above...which by the time anybody catches up to the child, is in a terror worse than any beasts could've done. Those veggies? Torn up with the surrounding dirt. The plants growing in the water? Broken streams to match broken dreams. The ones in the skies might as well have not existed with how they were the first Ken noticed.
And the trees...well, they're putting up a good fight. Literally, one of them got up and is trying to keep the child from causing more damage, but is instead slowly being ripped apart and eaten alive. It makes no sounds, but it has a face of agony on its bark. (It's not sentient, but does act to protect itself and anything that helps its species prosper against obvious threats)
