Teacher of the cursed: A Warhammer 40k Psyker School Quest.

[X] Plan: Body and Mind

This plan:
-Restores our physical body so we don't kneel over at the first sign of continuous physical exertion, which physical retraining doesn't cover.
--Also keeps us approachable to future initiates.
-Keeps our mind secure from meddling psyker children or demons.

bigger question is if we actually need that resistance given we will be a teacher most of the time and most blanks are not chaotic, or psykers or even a traitor so we will not be brought in to deal with them, with blank assassins most likely coming from terra which means we messed up anyways
Thing is, resistance doesn't just give us a boost fighting blanks. It also allows us to more effectively fight with them. It's a whole lot easier to do battle with a blank on your side if you don't collapse screaming if he accidentally walks too close. I would like to grab some Blanks for our security force if we can manage it, and this would help with that.

Also, I think you are significantly underestimating the likelihood of a loyalist Blank being sent after us. Sure, the odds of us going up against a Culexus are slim (and we'd probably die even with a resiliency), but they aren't the only game in town. As famously demonstrated by Amberley Vail, Inquisitors have a tendency to recruit Blanks whenever they can find them, and it's not like we won't be angering any of them.

Our enterprise will, by its very nature, anger many among the Amalathians and Monodominants, aka two of the biggest Puritan factions in the Inquisition. Radicals aren't exactly safe either. I can think of at least two named Radical factions who would also like to burn down our Schola, and most of the rest would be happy to subvert it to their twisted ideals over our dead body. Basically, I don't fear the Culexus. I fear the Blank Death Cult Assassin or ex-Guardsman seeking our head to serve their master.

Just realized this, but if we can get some blanks to our academy, it should be an added layer of protection against Psyker accidents. Being able to withstand their presence seems a must for that.

[X] Plan: Trained Body, Trained Mind

While intimidating our students isn't ideal, I think the improvements to our health is worth it. Remember, we're going to be seen as a parental figure thanks to the choice we made earlier in the quest, so the damage shouldn't be too bad. Plus, I think getting six months of Magos Biologis-supervised rehab will be harder to obtain than Biomancy training later in the quest.

And judging by the description, the inquisitor is not a radical, but a purist. It looks like Monodominance. It is they who hate all psykers and mutants and love to burn out heresy regardless of losses.
