There is Nothing to Fear [Harry Potter AU; Gryffindor!Voldemort]

Tom Riddle was sorted into Gryffindor. There is nothing to fear. Updates to this story occur simultaneously here, on Spacebattles, and on AO3. Major corrections will occur on all three sites, but minor corrections (e.g. typos) will only be made on AO3. If oneshots and multishots aren't your...
The clue it gave: "The clue for the next thread is: A spectre revolution is haunting uplifting Europe America - the spectre of communism."

It was Slytherin or Gryffindor.

Hah, we missed the 8th one! Threads Of Destiny is the 7th and gave us the clue "Green or red, the revolution must be led. Be not afraid." And Reds! A Revolutionary Timeline says it's the 9th.

edit: It figures it'd be a Harry Potter one. We were overthinking it, I guess.

I'm tickled pink that they managed to come up with a clue so tricky that we found the successive thread before we found that one. Props to whoever came up with the riddle for the 8th one.

Petals of Titanium -- My Life as a Mecha Setting Bridge Bunny Quest Original - Sci-Fi - Users' Choice!

You are Ensign Amani North, a young bridge officer in the United Solar Empire Navy. While the mecha pilots engage in daring life or death robot duels, you look at a scan display back on the spaceship and exclaim dramatically as things appear on it. This is your story. SV Winterfest User's Choice...

And a personal fave to wrap it up.

Clue was:

A love letter to clerical workers and the real robot genre.

i read real robots and thought "bridge bunny" and i came back and you quickdraw mcgraws already had it

I thought putting half an hour between thread reveals would be enough to prevent you insane people from finding them out of order after what happened with 2014.

Apparently I was wrong!

...but I doubt that @Skippy will want me to bump it from 30 minutes to 45 for 2019 just because you got stumped once. :V

It's always nice when people get a thread that they know personally. It just feels different.

The ability of the threads to be found out of order was honestly pretty interesting, for the few minutes where the possibility existed.

Maybe next time we can have them all at once, and then make sorting them part of the challenge? It would be really fun for people who aren't unreasonably fast at searching but still want to participate by posting in this thread, and it would make the experience more communal.

I did enjoy figuring out which threads were out of order on day 1. I'd also be a fan of an overarching meta puzzle.

I've heard of There Is Nothing To Fear but never looked into it. I was not aware any sort of "revolution" took place inside it. Anyone willing to elaborate on the nature of it? That sounds much more interesting than I thought when I read the premise.

Also dang without the strikethroughs the clue for Reds! looks like word salad. And given this is SV, I figured the "uplift" meant technology uplift. ...Do we have any technology uplift stories?

It starts with a point of diversion with Tom Riddle being sorted into Gryffindor. It has a series of one-shots that explore his life and his affect on the magical world. Hermione Granger and the Silent Country closer to an actual novel. Hermione returns to Britain as one of the transfer students from Beauxbatons for the Tri-Wizard Tournament.

Riddle founds the Death Eaters to militantly advocate for equal rights for all* in the British magical community. Dumbledore and Tom Riddle play a game of politics against each other in the Wizengamot until it comes to a peak. The Death Eaters launch a civil war against the British Ministry of Magic and the Death Eaters seize power. Riddle becomes Headmaster of Hogwarts. Tom Riddle is just as psychopathic as he was in canon, just with different goals.

I greatly enjoy seeing us stumble on a Harry Potter work. SV genuinely does read other books lol

I think Padawan Quest holds the record for 'time spent as an open unread tab' for me, and for a period of that the forum even had an issue where a big goldened post (like its first) would occasionally crash browsers. I really like TheLaurent's work but Star Wars doesn't excite me at all.
