If not AI that at very least extensive conventional plagarism of wiki articles, plus padding technique like listing 200 characters that jumped in fright whenever something happened. The previous record holder fanfics (Subspace Emissary's World Conquest and Ambiance: A Fleet Symphony) can at least claim to be 5M words of honest stream of consciousness fanwork.At the moment, I think it might be The Loud House: Revamped, which is ~16 million words. But it's also extremely low-effort garbage, so your mileage may vary as to whether you can really consider it a fanfic. It almost feels like it was written by AI.
