Uhm, the main banner for the hunt still says "2016" as well...
Yeah, I got caught up on the "business" part of it too. Trying to chase it down from that end just went nowhere, LOL.While I remember Ring-Maker and, having *seen* the answer, I can sort-of track backwards "has lots of rings" to "should have diversified" I suppose, I really don't follow this clue forwards. "Business"?
A clue that is also surprisingly close to applying to Now You Feel Like Number None.Clue:
The solution to a homicidal nigh-deific Witch-Queen? Your own baby divinity. Hope you're good at parenting.
Feels kinda problematic to imply that Cirucci was """"solved"""" by making her a mom. Especially since it just made her ego even biggerA clue that is also surprisingly close to applying to Now You Feel Like Number None.
Yeah, the reason it is only close to is that Divine babies weren't used solve any of the problems involving either of our witch queens, only eldritch abominations and incarnations of death.Feels kinda problematic to imply that Cirucci was """"solved"""" by making her a mom. Especially since it just made her ego even bigger
There's a lot of Worm works, but not many of them are particularly good, and even fewer of them are popular enough to be immediately recognizable. Of the popular recognizable ones, a lot of those are also genuinely really bad and/or SB fics that happen to be mirrored on SV. For something like this, it'd need to be a great thread, popular and well-remembered by SV's community in general, and not just the particular inhabitants of that thread or the Worm fanfic subforum, which is just not really a thing in Worm fanfics until pretty recently, as particularly transformative fics get more popular and more people read them and actually talk about them.Feels kinda problematic to imply that Cirucci was """"solved"""" by making her a mom. Anyway, what a great year with PoC, FoD and NN. I will be updating my bingo board later in the day, but if someone has a great memory for dates they shouldn't hesitate to tell me which fields would have shown up for this year but didn't.
Unless I am blind we also just now got our first Worm work. And I want to shoutout Academia Nut for having an entire 3 represented works in these initial four years.
First colum of the bingo looks like a winner. Batman vs SV is probably appearing, and a little vice is definetively appearing.
Not so sure about the Azula quest tho.
Number None | Gargulec coporate dronification | That quest about a cute god living in a tower who either really loved or really hated potatoes | Pound the Table
A little Vice | One of those design quests | Norse Quest | Omicron vs weird French novel
Aleph Pikachu Quest | Some GSRP I never heard of | One of those Omicron short-stories with the deranged names | WWZ in-character review
Batman vs SV | The miraculously good communist shield hero fanfic | One of those plan quests | The good MLP work that won an award last winter | Aleph+ES worm fic |
[Something] of Destiny | That one awesome Honor Harrington fanfic | Divided Loyalties | Paths of Civilization |
Wait, seriously?Yup, you got it before me but that one absolutely changed the game with threadmarks. It has 6034 threadmarks in total, not counting the 2 staff ones. Given it's 17,752 pages long (and was briefly the longest written work in the English language), it's actually more than a little impressive that it only has 2 staff threadmarked posts.
Wait, seriously?
Did anyone tell @DragonParadox that?
(Also hey buddy, been a while since I tagged you, huh?)
Man, that one brings up so many memories. We had two-four daily updates, massive plans, crazy builds, it was amazing. The constant interactions really helped me get through some seriously rough times in my life, it's amazing how much just a little bit of fun that you look forward to every day helps.
