[] Plan Retrieval
-[] Send the Freedom, the Destiny, the 00 Raiser, the Ptolemaios II and the Justice (once it is finished with repairs) to retreive the lifepod launched by the 3 Nazcas.
--[] If enemy forces start pressing on the retreival squad and provided it is possible, pass the lifepod to the 00 Raiser and have it use Trans-AM in order to hasten its withdrawal.
-[] Everyone else is to focus on preparing to withdraw.
--[] If possbile, attempt to bait the Blue Cosmos forces into fighting the newly arrived ZAFT forces.
Here's a write-in plan. Opinions on it are welcome (no voting until QM cofirms its validity).
One wrinkle with your current plan-the 00 Raiser and its occupants can ignore the G-forces that result from using Trans-Am because of the GN drives it has. The lifepod doesn't have anything of the sort-grabbing onto the lifepod with the 00-Raiser and then using Trans-Am to get away would likely kill Flay from the sheer acceleration alone.
Also, baiting Blue Cosmos into fighting ZAFT won't work-he knows he's in a bad position numerically, and Natarle would shoot down any idea that would result in undue risk-he's intrigued enough by what Flay's saying that he wants to retrieve her, but not so bloodthirsty that he'll just pick fights for the hell of it, if that makes any sense.

--[] If enemy forces start pressing on the retreival squad and provided it is possible, get the lifepod inside the Ptolemaios II and have it use Trans-AM in order to hasten its withdrawal. 00 Raiser is to use its Trans-AM to ward off enemy units that are pressuring the retreival squad. Prioritize forcing retreats rather than getting kills, since time is of the essence here, unless going for the kill would prove to be faster.
-[] Everyone else is to focus on preparing to withdraw.
Rewritten the plan to account for QM's clarifications. May or may not need further revision.

It's a shame we didn't get the opportunity to give Le Creuset a rebutal here, since I had something prepared on that front... maybe it will see use later.
And here's the moment I was talking about earlier. Since we don't have enough Will for Trans-AM yet, I think we advance on the pod with a few units alongside the 00 and maybe the Ptolemaios and use Trans-AM to facilitate the escape. Everyone else who isn't busy starts making preparations to withdraw.
I agree having Kira and Setsuna get Flay while we cover them as fast as possible and then we get out of the area as quick as possible is the best idea.

Hostile Magic Space, Cephiro (?)
In the dark dungeons of a shadowy castle, Nova ogles Hikaru Shidou, who's currently tied up.
"Oh my dear Hikaru, don't you realize I'm trying to help you?" Nova says in a dissonantly sweet tone as she strokes Hikaru's cheek.
"How is THIS supposed to help me? Who are you anyway, Nova, and why are you so obsessed with me?" Hikaru retorts as she recoils.
"I'm hurt that you haven't recognized me yet, honestly I am! Maybe this will remind you..." Nova's face breaks out into a wicked grin.
Before Hikaru can ask what Nova means by that, she's cupping her face in one hand with a longing, sultry look.
The next instant, Nova engulfs Hikaru's mouth with a forceful kiss. At the same time, Nova strokes Hikaru's abdomen with one hand while lifting up her skirt with the other.
An explosion shakes the entire castle, breaking Nova out of whatever mood she was in.
"Stupid warriors from your world, always spoiling my fun! Stay right there, Hikaru, I'll be right back!" Nova chirps before turning around exiting the dungeon, leaving Hikaru to stew in her own loss of innocence. You are Tetsuya Tsurugi, and as the Getter Team and several N.U.N.S. marines enter the newly formed breach in the side of the shadowy castle, you see a Rune God appear in the air. It's a demonic looking thing, jet black with red accents and a pair of demonic wings. Oddly, from what you remember of the reports, the head looks similar to that of Rayearth, without the crest atop its helmet.
"WHO DARES TO INTERRUPT MY TIME WITH HIKARU?!" Nova screeches.
"We do, and we'd like to have her back, thank you very much." You say curtly. You hope that's good enough to distract her.
"Oh, an artificial Rune God? I'll tear whatever passes for its heart out and offer it up to mother! Prepare to face the wrath of my Rune God Regalia!" Nova yells.
Mother? You think to yourself in confusion as Regalia produces a sword of light and brandishes it at Shin Great Mazinger.

Roll 10, 8
10 + 8 + 2 + 2 = 22
Result: Nova takes damage from the ships, sending her into a rage. Tetsuya must focus on defending the ships.
You see the Regalia streak forward and attempt to skewer Shin Great Mazinger through the chest. You shift Shin Great Mazinger to the left, causing Regalia's sword to graze against the side of its torso harmlessly.
"Mazinger Blade!" You yell, a sword of Super Alloy Z popping out of Shin Great's leg before you catch it in Shin Great's right hand.
You swing down in an attempt to catch Nova off guard, but she's able to step backwards in time avoid it. You swing again, and she dodges that too.
You huff in frustration as Nova laughs at you before a VF-19 fires a substantial volley of missiles at the Regalia. Another VF-19 does the same, followed by 3 GN-XIIIs and 4 Strike Daggers firing their beam rifles at the enemy Rune God. When the smoke clears, the Regalia is in a defensive posture, but otherwise undamaged.
As the Reglia poses in what you assume to be a prelude to Nova taunting you all, a volley of missiles and beams collide with it. You turn back to see the Guantanamo carriers and Clop class cruisers firing at the Regalia.
You hear Nova screech in rage even before the smoke clears.
"YOU PESTS! INGRATES! THOSE WHO WOULD SEPERATE ME FROM HIKARU MUST DIE!" Nova bellows before charging toward the ships.
You curse before hurling Shin Great in the path of the Regalia.
Come on guys, hurry up! You think to yourself. A pair of breaching charges detonate, blowing apart the doors to the dungeon that Hikaru is being held in.
The Getter Team charges in and immediately spot Hikaru in one of the cells. Benkei tears the bars of the cell door out with his bare hands while Ryoma and Hayato cut the chains holding her up.
"Hikaru, are you okay?" Hayato asks gently as he catches her.
"Nova...she...she..." Hikaru leans in to whisper the rest into Hayato's ear, whose expression immediately turns into one of rage.
"She didn't!" Ryoma exclaims in disbelief upon seeing the change in Hayato's expression.
"Oh, she did." Hayato says coldly.
Any further commiseration on how badly the Getter Team plans to maul Nova is interrupted by a grenade detonating in the distance.
"If you've secured the Magic Knight, we need to get out, NOW! More demon creatures are quite literally coming out of the woodwork!" An N.U.N.S. marine exclaims as he fires his assault rifle on full auto.
"Hikaru, can you stand?" Benkei asks.
"Y..Yeah, I think." Hikaru says as Hayato puts her on her feet. Her legs quiver for a moment, but she's able to stay standing.
Hikaru closes her eyes and concentrates before her sword appears in her hands.
"Okay, let's go!" Ryoma yells. You are Tetsuya Tsurugi, and despite your initial misgivings about fighting a Rune God with Shin Great Mazinger, it turns out that something as relatively mundane as Photon Power is an even match for Cephiro's magic.
"What's the matter, Nova? Too frustrated to fight properly?" You taunt Nova as you dodge an angry strike from the Regalia's sword.
"SHUT UP! FIRE ARROW!" Nova yells, launching burst of flame at Shin Great Mazinger, which you dodge.
At that moment, you see the rescue team lift off and start making their way back toward the ships, the Get Machines reforming into Shin Getter Robo.
"I take it you've gotten Hikaru back?" You ask.
"Yeah, but..." Ryoma tells you what Nova did to Hikaru.
You clench the controls of Shin Great in rage.
"You've really done it now, Nova! Double Thunder Break!" You yell.
Twin lightning bolts erupt from each of Shin Great's pointer fingers while Shin Getter 2 charges at the Regalia.
Your Thunder Breaks impact first, causing the Regalia to spasm and thrash about, allowing Shin Getter 2 to mercilessly blitz it with its Drill. When Shin Getter 2 withdraws, the Regalia is badly damaged, smoking and with one of its wings cracked.
At that moment, a wicked, feminine voice echoes in your head, and judging by the way everyone else is reacting, everyone else can hear it too.
~Nova, you've disappointed me yet again.~
"Mother?!" Nova says in confusion...and a healthy bit of fear.
~It appears I must punish you again, and teach you another lesson. You will have plenty of opportunities to make Hikaru the Magic Knight yours. Perhaps with another of my lessons, you will succeed next time.~
The Regalia is engulfed in shadows and disappears. For an instant, you all see the pale visage of a wicked-looking woman.
~Know this, Magic Knight and the warriors of her world. I am Debonair, despair embodied, and you will all succumb to me.~
Debonair's voice falls silent after that, and none of you say a word as Clef teleports you all back. Nova falls onto the floor of Debonair's chambers.
~Are you ready for your next lesson, my child?~
"Yes..." Nova says meekly.
Nova instantly feels the most sensitive areas on her body erupt in agonizing pain and screams.
Hikaru...you are the only one who can make me feel better... Nova thinks to herself as she writhes on the ground in agony. Castle of the Royal Family
"You know Eagle personally!?" Nunnally exclaims after Lantis explains what happened during his stay in Autozam.
"Yes." Lantis states.
"I wish you had told me sooner. That would have saved quite a bit of trouble..." Nunnally gripes as she massages her forehead.
"How do you wish to approach Eagle now?" Sayako asks.
"Well...there's a few angles I can take..." Nunnally says.

[ ] Play to own strengths
-Stick with what the two of them know, keep it relatively simple.
-Perform What About my Star, Triangler, and Lion When presented with Princess Aska herself, Relena was taken aback by how childish she is.
Although not the type of person she normally negotiates with, she has a few ideas on how to approach this...
[ ] Treat as an equal

Space around Mendel Colony
You are Setsuna F. Seiei, and as the 00 Raiser charges forward alongside the Freedom, the transmission from the lifepod that ZAFT released starts to become more clear.
"Archangel, Archangel, can you hear me?!" A young, feminine voice says in panic.
"Flay...?" Kira mumbles in recognition.
As the two of you get closer, the three Blue Cosmos Gundams, all of their remaining Strike Daggers, the Dominion, and its accompanying ships appear on your sensors.
"Sumeragi, we need covering fire!" You say.
"Roger that. Targeting...the Calamity Gundam! Good luck!" Sumeragi says.
"Get ready, Saji, this is going to get rough." You say.
Saji grunts in confirmation.
"Flay...Flay!" Kira yells as he spurs the Freedom forward in an unexpectedly rash maneuver.
You curse as you accelerate to keep up.

Result: The Ptolemaios II takes 3500 damage (4000/8500 HP), the Freedom takes 1000 damage and is staggered. The 00 Raiser and Destiny are now outnumbered. With the 00 Raiser Unable to find a good opening to activate Trans-Am, the Calamity Gundam is able to retrieve Flay's lifepod and retreat to the Dominion.
You are Sumeragi Lee Noriega, and as the Ptolemaios II fires on the Calamity Gundam, it dodges the first salvo beams the ship fires, deflects the second with its shield, and then turns to face you.
"GN Barrier, full strength!" You order.
The Calamity fires all of its weapons, which includes its bazooka, shoulder mounted beam cannons, shield mounted beam cannons, and chest-embedded plasma cannon.
Although the ship's GN Barrier is able to initially deflect some of the Calamity's ordnance, it is overwhelmed once the entire salvo hits, causing the ship to shake.
"Status!" You order.
"Severe damage to the starboard side, but we can still operate, the GN condensers are fine!" Mileina reports.
"Damn it, we underestimated the capabilities of Blue Cosmos' Gundams!" You lament out loud as you take stock of the situation.
You see Setsuna take a swipe at the Raider Gundam, which shifts into mobile armor form to evade before changing back to mobile suit form and hurling its flail at the 00 Raiser.
The 00 Raiser glows green before disappearing in a flurry of GN Particles, the Raider's flail passing through nothing but empty space.
"What the-what position hacking cheat is this?!" The pilot of the Raider exclaims.
The 00 Raiser reappears behind the Raider, which immediately turns around and fires its machine guns at, only for the rounds to be deflected harmlessly off of its GN Barrier.
As the 00 Raiser and Raider continue to play cat and mouse, you turn your attention to the Freedom, which is rushing toward Flay's lifepod at full speed.
"I'm coming, Flay!" Kira yells as he fires the Freedom's beam rifle at the Forbidden in a vain attempt to ward it off, apparently forgetting about its beam deflection system.
The Forbidden lazily brings up its beam deflectors, causing the green rounds to curve away before firing its curving beam cannon at the Freedom.
You wince as Kira attempts to dodge, only to accidentally move into the path of the curving beam and cause the Freedom to be decapitated.
Stella charges forward in the Destiny Gundam and attempts to cleave the Forbidden in half, only for the enemy pilot to dodge and bat the Destiny aside using the shaft of its scythe.
At that moment, you see the Justice approach rapidly on your sensors, and almost immediately after it comes into view, you see it hurl a beam boomerang at the Forbidden to get it back off.
"Wait, where's the Calamity?" Lasse wonders out loud.
It takes a moment for you to realize that the Calamity has grabbed Flay's lifepod in its right hand and is now retreating back toward the Dominion as quickly as it can without potentially harming her with the g-forces of acceleration.
The Freedom lurches forward despite being half-blind, and Athrun grabs it with the Justice.
"Kira, what do you think you're doing?!" Athrun exclaims. "You intend to attack the enemy flagship in that condition?"
"She's someone that I hurt! I have to protect her! I have to..." Kira trails off.
"Damn it, activating Trans-Am!" Setsuna says.
The 00 Raiser glows red and disappears in a blur of after-images. A few seconds later, the Raider's legs are dismembered.
The Forbidden fires its curving beam cannon, only for the shot to miss by a very wide margin.
"Fire GN Missiles!" You order.
The Forbidden is able to dodge most of your missile salvo, but that leaves it open to the 00 Raiser, which is able to break its scythe before carving a gash into the beam deflectors on both of its arms. Unfortunately, they appear to still function as intended, as the Forbidden deflects a beam round from the Justice immediately after.
"Ptolemaios group, what is your status? We're about to break through the ZAFT lines and we won't have a better opportunity than this to escape." Lacus contacts you.
You resist the urge to bang your armrest in frustration.
"Damn it, everyone retreat! Follow the Eternal!" You order.
You all head for the opening that the others about to make, the 00 Raiser deflecting a few parting shots from the Forbidden's curving beam cannon with its GN Field. You are Mira Ayana, and for some reason, despite the Rose being damaged, you feel...alive.
You suspect it has something to do with the 'Brave' enhancement that Samsara did to you. Something to ask about later.
You charge at the Nazca-class ship identified as the Vesalius and draw the Crystal Sword, carving a gouge down its right side before continuing forward.
You glance back to see the Kusanagi and Eternal fire their beam cannons on opposite sides of the enemy ship, causing those places and many others on the ship to erupt into flames.
As the Justice (carrying a headless Freedom, you note with some concern) and the Buster pass by the burning Vesalius, you hear Athrun speak up.
"Goodbye, Captain Ades." He says.
The Justice and Buster salute the burning ZAFT vessel before making their escape alongside the rest of you.
"Hey, look." Nina says.
You zoom in and see the commanding officer of the Vesalius through its now cracked viewport saluting even as his bridge is engulfed in flames. Captain Ades, you presume.
Nina makes a noise of discomfort when the Vesalius explodes, and you take her hand in your own, which seems to soothe her.
The rest of the escape goes off without a hitch, and you all manage to regroup some distance away from Mendel. Aboard the Dominion
You are Murata Azrael, and you are currently looking over the contents of the data disk that Flay Allster brought over.
The blueprints for the Freedom and Justice are intriguing, but certainly not the 'key' to ending the war that she said.
Then a trio of magic words you had never dared to even fantasize about flash on the top of the screen:
Neutron Jammer Canceller.
Your eyes widen as you scroll through an academic treatise, then grin when you realize you've scrolled down to the schematic for a compact version meant to be mounted on mobile suits.
You laugh with maniacal joy.
"This is perfect!" You pump your arms in glee. "Now we won't have to resort to using N2 warheads or trying to steal F.L.E.I.J.A. schematics! Oh Creuset, my inside man, I could kiss you if I wasn't straight as an arrow!"
It will admittedly take a little time to make enough N-Jammer Cancellers to make the entirety of Blue Cosmos' nuclear arsenal useable once again, but by your own estimates, it should only take, what, a month, maybe a month and a half to get all the infrastructure in place? After that, it should only take a week or so to manufacture the amount of N-Jammer Cancellers required, and even less time to incorporate them into your existing stockpile of nuclear missiles.
You've waited this entire war for something like this. You can wait a little longer to get things just right. Everyone is exhausted after escaping from the last battle.
Who do you check on?
[ ] Mu aboard the Archangel
[ ] Kira aboard the Eternal A/N: Imagine my surprise when you didn'tcommit the Rose to helping retrieve Flay's lifepod. Well, you'll have an opportunity to save her and Natarle during the Gundam Seed finale, and if you had managed to get her back, Azrael would have resorted arming his Peacemaker forces with either N2 warheads or FLEIJA missiles (I hadn't decided yet). Anyway, I hope how things played out seem...fair. Please vote, discuss, and critique!
Edit: forgot to incorporate the Destiny Gundam into the combat. Added her, made an attack roll. It failed, so the end result is the same.
I'm surprised that Azrael didn't want interest on the GN Drives that can function anywhere in areas affected by Neutron Jammers and that they're semi-perpetual engines.
Boss should we not have had the Destiny Gundam in the fight with the Druggies as that was in the vote.
Also I am amazed yet again the it's the damm the three druggged up guys and their Gundams that continue to give us the most damm trouble even compared to guys like Doctor Hell and Full Frontal although the villains from Full Metal Panic are a close second. Those three just seem to allways role well and that straight 7+ they always have is a lot.

Thanks for doing that boss although that just reinforces my opinion that the damm Druggies are somehow blessed by these dice when they are able to win these fights when we have had less trouble with stronger opponents.
We got some early good rolls and even now some godly rolls on recent updates.
Like I said I dropped the gunbuster repairs for 1 turn in the chance of leaving it to the dice gods that we got a crit in that to get it back to schedule.
Fighting the first generation of BCPUs just isn't workable without our stronger units (CB units in Trans-AM and only in Trans-AM, Amuro at Will 8, Banagher at Will 10 and so on). At least what I had prepared on Le Creuset may see use during SEED's finale (whenever that may be). After all, Le Creuset can't focus on spiting Kira if someone else steps up to deconstruct his arguments for why his reasons for wanting to destroy humanity are not only flawed, but also hypocritical, tells him that his plans are doomed to failure anyways because he has no way to ensure the death of humans that aren't part of this dimension (meaning that something like the Council can easily pop up after Le Creuset is finished with his plans and then undo all his work by repopulating the dimension with humans) and makes insinuations that he's exactly like the progenitor he all so hates...
Eugghh...Plans going to shit at the whim of the dice gods always leaves a sour taste...
That it's the SEED Druggies who did it to us burns even more, I just don't like em.
