Star Wars: A Padawans Tale: Episode II: A New Galaxy (A CK2/Adventure Quest)

The Galactic Rumor Mill 1
The Galactic Rumor Mill:

The Galactic Republic:

The Jedi Order:D100 => 49

The Jedi Order has remained in a stance of insulation, with only a few Jedi, mostly ones who were already on thin ice with the council or Jedi that know that the War is still needing the fighting… left. Jedi like Even Piel who wish to fight and save the Republic.

Leading Armies like generals of a bygone age. And while the Council has not exiled them, they have not welcomed them back with open arms.

The Clamors for an Army of Light, or at very least a change in how the Jedi is seen by the Republic, which the young Padawans, who call themselves "The Children of the Force at War" see it, as an uneven and abusive partnership, with the Republic using the Jedi orders powers, influence and skills to solve its problems, instead of taking action when it should have.

The Jedi are peacekeepers, but why does the Republic rob this order blind?

They are guardians of the Peace, but why does the Republic not try to help systems that are in need of true assistance…

The Jedi, in their eyes, is an arm of the Republic.

When the Jedi is something far more than that, for the whole Galaxy.

Reward: The Jedi is in a very… precarious situation, and it may blow up soon… if not dealt with.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Grand Army of the Republic: D100 => 97

The GAR… to describe the force that has single-handedly saved the Republic while the Jedi have… retreated to get some work done is impossible. the Clones and their officers, men of steller caliber, have risen to the task of fighting near unwinnable battles and not only winning… but crushing the enemy at every turn.

Supreme Commander Yularen has been everything that an army needs him to be. Active, Energetic, always aware of the great game that is in front of him, seeing his forces and knowing his forces and how to best use them in any given situation effectively

Even his Chief of Staff, the Unenviable but never uncomfortable and uncompromising Admiral Tarkin, has turned an otherwise impossible staff situation, and a stunning lack of competent officers for staff and field work, into something that he has built from the ground up.

His 90-day wonders, officers from the volunteer regiments and untrained officers who have maybe commanded no more than a squad of militia… into brilliant fighting men and women who are not only capable but have earned the respect of the clowns that had been fighting in the war.

If the Jedi come back… they may not just be generals in every legion… They may be something far more… or less.

Reward:

The Grand Army of the Republic is working on many of its shortcomings and has come up with genius solutions that have earned the respect of the Public, and the awe of almost every observer, from every planet.

The 90 Day wonders are widely considered an effective emergency measure to produce competent officers, though the Republic Judicial Academy, now the Grand Army Military institution, has begun starting classes for the Republic Army again.

The first time such a class has been formed since the Sith Wars.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Clones:D100 => 79

To say the Clone Troopers are high in morale and standing, does not begin to say their skills.

While they were bred for war, this war, a stalemate of raids and counterraids, has shown them at their very best. They are good soldiers. Good Warriors…

Good Men.

Reward: The Clones now that they are being treated as men… are fighting far harder than anyone believed they could have.
---------------------------------------------------

The Volunteers:D100 => 38

The First, Second, and Third Volunteer Legions, as they are called, made up of Freshly trained Volunteers are not… what one would call reinforcements that the Clones could count on.

They are raw. They are not prepared for the rigors of war, and they are… more motivated by money and glory, which the Clones do not like.

It's telling that at headquarters, there are no less than two clone commanders speaking of the ill-discipline of the Legions, and the atmosphere among the two camps are clearly…

Not shared.

Professionalism and discipline are lacking.

But what concerns the Clones, is the numbers. There are more, and more, and more coming, a neverending stream of replacements for those who died or got kicked out.

Reward: The Volunteers are not a hardened force. They are green, raw, able to learn, but not willing to learn from their battle-hardened comrades.

Those that do, end up surviving.

Those that don't… well, will learn. Or die.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Chancellor Organa:D100 => 66

The Chancellor is in a sticky situation. He wishes to return the Emergency powers to the Senate, but he is being pressured by his top Generals and advisors to remain with such powers until the war ends.

He feels if he does not give himself some guidelines, he will be nothing more than a successor to Palpatine, so he did.

Reward: Chancellor Organa has given restrictions to his Emergency Powers, especially when it involves orders… like Order 66. He does not want to have that kind of sole authority over that kind of power.

He however is still very much in command of the strategy of the Grand Army of the Republic and its Doctrine.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Senate:D100 => 80

Senator Skywalker, the Majority Leader of the Newly formed and elected Senate, has announced that there would be new legislation, to attempt to answer many of the causes of the Republics' issues…

And while many scoff at it as an idealist's crusade to end a war, her options and organizational methods to use existing units and commissars and judicial's to write the reports and try to give answers in a quick and speedy manner.

Reward: De Sepretisitcation? Desithification? Anti Curroptions mesures?

Call it what you want, change is coming to the Republic… whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, we won't know till it's over.
---------------------------------------------------------
The Core:D100 => 58

The Core, while not entirely happy with the lack of government money coming its way with the new Chancellor and Senate makeup, nonetheless are happy..

They are happy that they still have control over the key shipyards.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Mid Rim:D100 => 30

The Mid rim has reported Slave ships and slave raids on their planet, one very concerning report comes from Kashyyyk…

Twenty thousand wookies taken in only two hours.

Reward: Slave raids are striking the Mid rim, the soft underbelly of the Republic, from unknown hyperspace lanes.

They are targetting Wookies.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Outer Rim:D100 => 90

To describe the Outer Rims...well the Loyal Outer Rims turn is a difficult thing to say. With the reformation of Elections and districts, they now have numerous voices in the Galactic senate pushing for more funds to develop the worlds, to protect them against the Hutts and slavers and syndicates.

And they are beginning to fight back.

Reward: Um… There are revolts all over Hutt space. And the GAR is helping them?

Well, the volunteers are anyway?
----------------------------------------------
Unrest Roll:D100 => 19

The Republic is not in any worry of Unrest, the blame of so much pain now solely on one man.

Reward: The Republic's Anger is now squarely on Papa Palps
--------------------------------------------

CIS:

Papa Palpatine: D100 => 96

"This Confederacy will be reorganized, into the FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE!"

Senator Bontari could only watch and say… "Well now… this is how democracy dies… with a thunderous applause."

Lux looked at her with bewilderment. "Where did you come up with that, that sounds like something Padme would say?"

"Oh hush now Lux, you know as well as I do, that Padme always had a flair for the Dramatic, it's who she is."

Reward: Papa Palps… Formed the Empire.

Well it could be worse?

The Droid Army:D100 => 13

The Droid army is suffering from a severe lack of… competence.

The army is ill-programed, and ill equipped to deal with this… new volunteer army.

It will take years to see it done.

Reward: The Droid Army is in tatters.

The Officers of the CIS:D100 => 8

Almost every officer among the CIS Army not loyal to Palpatine was sacked or killed.

There aren't many officers.

Reward: there is an Extreme officer shortage in the CIS ranks.

The Zygerian Empire:D100 => 100

The queen smiled. "Tell me, Emperor, what is it you offer in exchange for my slaves?"

"Everything that the Republic has taken from you?" The Emperor said with a coy, almost playful tone.

"Very well."

Reward:

Well… Slavers are going to Slave.

They have entered an Alliance with the Empire to build a new empire.

AN: The State of the Galaxy currently.

There would be more but I'm tired.

A Light in the Force (Turn 2)
A Light in the Force (Turn 2):

You took a deep breath and realized something.

You weren't alone. Ahsoka and Caleb were waiting for you… in your room. Your lock was broken, and Anakin was standing outside of the doorway. "Uh… can I help you?" You asked, very annoyed. "Cause otherwise, get out."

"Actually, we're trying to help you," Anakin said as he walked in, and used the force to shut the door. "Windu has put you in a tough spot."

"No kidding." You groaned. "It's like he wants me to fail."

"He doesn't," Anakin stated. "If he did, he wouldn't have asked you to ask around and try to get our fellows to calm down. He would have caused the whole thing to shut down." Anakin then chuckled. "He has faith, more than you realize. He just doesn't like to show it."

"But why me?" You asked. "Why did he chose someone who… doesn't have that big of a grievance with the council."

"Because your emotions won't cloud your judgment," Ahsoka said, sounding far wiser than she normally was. "You'll see the things for how they are, and how they can change."

You rolled your eyes. "But it had to be me?"

Anakin laughed. "Hey, you're Obi Wans padawan, they think you're good enough."

Caleb them threw over a pazaak deck. "Now deal buddy."

Ah… so that's how it was going to be?

"Great."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At least Barris gave you the green light.

"Now remember, you are temple bound for another few weeks, but you will be able do as much as you need to do." She said.

Laron waited at the side of Master Yoda and Senator Organa watching the silver Nabooian Cruiser touch down on the landing platform. Normally Laron would be making his way to the planet that he chose to stay hidden but something in the force told him to stay with Master Yoda after his confrontation with Darth Sidious. His thoughts were interrupted by the ships ramp lowering revealing the shocking sight of Obi-Wan carrying the unconscious form of Padme Amidala. "Padme!" Laron cried out with concern at seeing the state his friend was in and quickly walked up to his master was about to open his mouth when the red haired man gave him a look that said "Not now." which caused him to close his mouth shut. "We'll take her to medical center quickly." Bail said while some of the ground crew moved a hover-stretcher for Obi-Wan to place Padme on and then they rushed off to the nearest medical center.

While on the way there Laron asked what was on his mind, "What happened to her Master?" He asked with a hushed tone and at that question Laron could feel disgust and horror emanating from his master through the force. "Anakin choked her." Obi-Wan said while Laron looked at him with shock all over his face at a loss for words as he registered Anakin's monstrous actions. "Then Master Yoda was right. He's gone, consumed by Darth Vader." He said with sorrowful tone reflecting on on past moments he shared with Anakin and if there was one thing he would regret for the rest of his life it was that there was nothing to make Anakin's marriage legal and recognized by the council prompting Laron to keep the secret for his two friends and do what he could for them. His thoughts went to the moment Anakin and Padme told him that they were expecting at a private dinner between the three of them at Padme's penthouse which resulted in him giving Padme a hug and a spin and a hearty handshake and hug for Anakin and after his joyful reaction with a shared look between husband and wife that's when they sprung a surpise on him, "You've done so much for us Laron." Padme said with a grateful look "and your a good friend to both of us" Anakin said prompting Padme to say "We want you to be the godfather." prompting Laron to stutter out a shocked "I-I-I would be honored." and they spent the rest of the evening discussing baby names and plans for the future.

They arrived at the medical center and the medics rushed Padme to an operating theater as she had gone into labor and wasn't in a state to do it naturally. Laron sat with Bail and Yoda while Obi-Wan went to take care of other business. Time seemed to go on slowly for the three as they stayed silent the only noise being Padme's pained screams. Obi-Wan then returned with a medical droid who had grim news. "Medically, she is completely healthy. For reasons we can't explain, we are losing her." Laron's head whipped towards the medical droid at his words. "Is there anything you can do?" Laron said fear at losing his friend evident in his voice. "No I'm sorry there is nothing we can do." Laron put his hands in his robes pockets and clenched his fists hard enough to draw blood. "She's dying?" Obi-Wan said and the droid responded "We don't know why. She has lost the will to live. We need to operate quickly if we are to save the babies." The droids words sent shock through Laron "Twins!?" he thought while Bail words were a flabbergasted "Babies!!!??" with the medical droid saying what Laron was thinking "She's carrying twins." "Save them, we must. They are our last hope." the droid turned as if getting a message from the operating room "Master Kenobi, Padawan Null your presence has been requested." and then rushes back to the room with Laron practically flying from his seat, heading to the theater with Master Kenobi behind him.

Laron held Padme's right hand while Obi-Wan held her left. Laron looked at her face in concern while Obi-Wan said "Don't give up Padme." Laron's thoughts were in a more cynical nature but he gently squeezed Padme's hand as if to echo Kenobi's sentiments. Padme's face contorted into a wince and the medical droid announced the gender of the first child "It's a boy." "Luke..." the dying mother said with a faint smile struggling to touch her son's forehead. "...and a girl." heralding the arrival and gender of the second child. "...Leia." Laron and Obi-Wan both leaned over her "You have twins Padme." His Master said which Laron added "They need you." his voice cracked with emotion "...please hang on." Padme winced and said "I can't..." Laron locked down his feelings of sorrow holding in his tears so Padme wouldn't see. "Save your energy." the bearded man said and Padme both took their hands. "Obi-Wan... Laron... there... is good in him. I know there is... still..." and at those words Padme lets out a final gasp of breath and passes on. It became too much and Laron couldn't hold in his tears any longer and let out a sob letting go of his friends hand while Obi-Wan went over to comfort his distraught padawan and led him out of the operating theater.

AN 2: the conversation between Yoda,Bail and Obi-wan on what to do with the twins on Naboo goes as canon, Laron isn't there because he sneaked out to watch and follow Padme's funeral procession from the shadows.

Turn 2 Results:

-[X]Jedi, The Rising Order: You want to change the way the average person sees the Jedi. You need to show them that the Jedi are not… what they think they are. Cost 1000 Credits Roll Needed: 20 Reward: You start to battle for the Hearts and Minds of the Republic citizens. Rolled: D100 => 76+10=86

All it took was one moment talking to a regular person to just understand what was wrong with the Jedi.

Detached. Arrogant. Above the Average person. That was what you saw from the republic citizens when you tried to talk to them. Never going down to the level of an average person, caring more about politics and the balance of power in the galaxy, of peace, than against the actual injustices that were in the Galaxy that the Jedi used to champion against.

The Jedi had forgotten what they were. Guardians of the Galaxy. Not of the Republic.

And so you did a simple thing to change the tide.

You began to help out where you could. In some investigations… in some construction work… and just by talking to people to help them with their problems.

Reward: You begin the fight for the Republics' heart.

And you begin to repair the Jedi's Reputation.

-[X]Fear and Loathing in the Jedi Order: The Young Padawans are… protesting in the streets. Why the hell are they Protesting the Republic… Besides the Obvious of Palpatines manipulations? Cost 0 Credits Roll needed: 60% Reward: You discover the hatred that the Padawans feel at their government. Rolled: D100 => 11+10=21

The Padawans who were treating you with… mostly reverence...still didn't like you.

"Go away Laron." The leader… you think it was some kid names… Logan? "We know the Council sent you… so go away. We don't want you."

Failure.

Okay… this is bad.

-[X]The Hero of the Republic: You have been proclaimed by everyone not a Palpatine Loyalist as a Hero of the Republic. This is going to be difficult. Cost 0 Credits Roll Needed: 10 Reward: Laron Null! HERO OF THE REPUBLIC… That sounds like something more Anakin's Style to be honest. Rolled: D100 => 19+10=29

You smiled as you felt a ping of pride as you watched the security footage playing… yes you got stabbed by a lightsaber… and was electrocuted quite horribly…

But it was worth it seeing Palpatine's face being utterly distraught as Anakin brought the hammer down.

You uploaded it to the holonet to make sure posterity could see for all you the marbles.

And since Palpatine was now going to be seeing this meme on a daily basis… this… put a smile on your face.

And a… The Hero of the Republic gig…

Good stuff.

Reward: Unknown Affect, but Palpatine is now tortured with the fact that you survived and ruined his plans.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-[X]The Army of Light: Why do these… Padawans want to go to war as an Army of Light. The last time that happened, it nearly destroyed the Jedi? Cost 0 Credits Roll needed: 60% Reward: You find out why there is a need to Be an Army of Light? Rolled: D100 =>11+10=21

You had once again tried to get to talking to the Padawans who wished for an army of Light.

And they once again shut you out.

Failure.

They do not want anything to do with you.

-[X]The Grand Army of the Republic: You need to find out what exactly the next assignment is… Wait, why are you no longer on the Army roster? And why are the Jedi requesting… removal from command for the foreseeable future? Cost 0 Credits Roll needed: 60% Reward: Turns out, the Jedi are being very… careful… Okay why? Rolled:D100 => 1+10=11

You looked at Chief of Staff Tarkin. "Sir, I don't understand why I am not getting my next duty roster."

"Because the Jedi have been removed. The Council had made the request, and any Jedi that wishes to rejoin the front lines must seek their approval. You do not have the approval."

"But-"

"If you do not leave, I will force you out." Tarkin replied.

You bowed. "Yes sir."

Failure.

"Yes… The Military Court." You said with a smile. "Martial law is a bitch."

Rolled:D100 => 81+10=91

You frowned. "Why am I the one always solving the Jedi's problems!" You said with a groan as you put down the tax books.

Ahsoka laughed. "You're the one who volunteered."

(Continued in: Wait, This is from How Long Ago!?)

-[X]The Hundred Traitors: Who left the order to fight alongside a sith? Rolls needed: 30/50/70 Reward: The Traitors had names… they were your friends, teachers… Now they have let their pride and… beliefs blind them. Rolled:D100 => 5+10=15

"Why are you treating me like a padawan Jocasta, I have a right to know!" You demanded.

"You are a padawan, and you do not have a right to know." She replied. "Now get out of the Archives before I give you the boot."

Failure.

Dooku is off-limits to everyone…

Dammit.

This can't get any worse… can it.

Failure.

Disaster Roll:D100 => 100

Meanwhile:

"SIR! They've broken through the Blockades! OH, GODS!"

Tarkin and Yularen… looked at each other, then the Chancellor. "Two hundred systems are under siege. And we do not have the ships to answer them all."

Bail looked at his options. "Get the Jedi Council. We need their help."

"There is another more troubling news sir." Tarkin stated.

"What is it?"

"It's Palpatine. He's contacting The Republic directly. Demanding our Surrender."

Omake: News from the First Galactic Empire

CONFEDERACY NEWS NETWORK BREAKING NEWS!

"Trouble is brewing in the First Galactic Empire as despite an amazing blitzkrieg into Republic territory that allowed Confe... I mean, Imperial forces to siege nearly 200 worlds, critical supply lines are being cut off. According to recent reports, the reason is because of massive disruptions in the Trade Federation network. The Trade Federation was renegotiating their contracts when Emperor Palpatine ordered the execution of the entire board of directors as well many officers in their enforcement branch. However, some Trade Federation officers caught wind of the upcoming purges and were able to flee to Wild Space and the Unknown Regions, while others, unable to escape, uploaded malware into their Command Ships as a final act of spite, which then spread throughout their droid networks. Lucrehulk-class cargo freighters were one of the most common transport vessels in the Confederate-then-Imperial navies and served as the backbone in transportation of crew and material, as well as capital ships in many engagements, but now the majority of the fleet is nearly completely inoperable as the droid crewmembers are either non-functional or are openly revolting against any efforts to bring them under control. While Imperial Decree in invoking Eminent Domain to repurpose other vessels into replacing the Lucrehulk fleet, it will be some time before supply lines become fully func-"

"Confederate News Network has been taken off the air for spouting Republic Propaganda, nonsensically claiming that Imperial supply lines are suffering any sort of issue after Emperor Palpatine had the treacherous leaders of the Trade Federation summarily terminated from their positions after they tried to extort the Empire and demand more lucrative military contracts as part of their ongoing attempts to undermine the war effort for their own profits. Confed News assets are currently being seized and its reporters are being investigated as Republic provocateurs. And I for one, am happy that these traitors in our midst who spread Jedi lies are being been tracked down and dealt with. This is Fajisz Mousepeace of One Imperial News Network, signing off."

Interlude: What Goes Up, Must Come Down!
Interlude: What Goes Up, Must Come Down!

The Czerka lawyers were on a tank, a rather old one, but a tank nonetheless. And it was trying to bomb your office. "Hello everyone, sorry for the wait, traffic was killer, got distracted." You stated as the security team continued to take cover as you strolled into the building.

"Oh hi everyone, sorry I'm late."

Your Board members were frightened by the Cavalier attitude that you were employing. "What took you so long?!" One shouted.

"I was on youngling duty, also, had to deal with a lot of other work for Master Aggruva, than there was the mission briefing with Master Kenobi…" You then paused as you looked at your comlink. "Then I get a call from the office, saying that Czerka brought a tank to intimidate us. They don't want this investigation to happen any more than we do, but they are overreacting to a legal investigation into their… dealings with Chancellor Palpatine. Sorry, citizen Palpatine, the traitor of the Republic."

You then smiled. "Do we have anything larger, to talk to them, besides me?"

"We have hacked into the comm system?" One of the board members said.

"Perfect. And give me a minute, I need to chew the scenery while the GAR shows ups."

"Wait what?"

"There is a warrant for their arrest, and I've been deputized for this. Now sit down and take cover." You said.

You then grabbed the microphone.

To the Members of the Czerka corporation!

I am Laron Null, and I am very very disappointed in you all!

Now that may not be saying much because you have a tank outside my offices, but it is worth mentioning. You have long tried to take over the company because it is independent and wishes only to serve its employees, not acting as the parasites that you are.

But I say no more. We will not be intimidated by the members of the Czerka Corporation, and their cronies that think they can exploit the galaxy for a quick buck.

You are members of the Separatists, and I say, you are traitors!"

You then set the mic down.

"Is that true?" One of the board members asked.

"Oh yeah, those boys are so in bed with Palpatine you'd think they were married."

You then saw GAR and C-Sec cuffing them.

"Ah… So good."
-----------------------------------------------------------

"Well see you in court." The lawyers said.

"Yeah, a military court, as you fired on a republic officer." You smiled as they really should have chosen their words carefully.

They then began to beg, as they were taken away.

"Honestly I was expecting more from them.

Reward: +4 to intrigue and Stewardship.

Null fuels increase market share.

Czerka corporations and all their assets have been frozen and seized by Republic judicial and tax offices.

Palpatine loses a significant fortune in his stock portfolio.

Meanwhile, someone in the Senate is getting a few anti-monopoly bills prepared.

To break the corporations that are in the Sepretists, and without.

AN: And we're back.

Wait, This is from How Long Ago!?
Wait, This is from How Long Ago!?

You were tired. There were so many things that you could be doing right now. Sparring with Ahsoka, teaching some younglings about some awesome force powers. Or talk to Master Kenobi about dealing with the rebellious and board padawans who wanted to fight in the war just so that they can have a chance to end it.

No, you had to read the Temple's very large and very detailed expense reports, and tax audits.

Thankfully, you had help. "So Ahsoka, do you see any discrepancies with the-"

"No." She replied as she scrolled through the thing.

"Why are we here?" Caleb groaned as he took the completed scrolls and expense reports and put them into the cart for the council to read again.

"Because Laron wants to make things difficult for us, and Ordo is off-world." Ahsoka stated.

"Well, you did say you would help me with the whole situation because the council shoved reforming the order and making it my problem. Along with your problem now." You replied as you marked off a few irregularities.

"I hate you Laron." Ahsoka groaned as she hit her head on the table. "If I read one more report, I'm going to destroy the ones we have left."

Caleb then quickly hid behind the cart. "I don't want to be anywhere near her when that happens Laron."

You rolled your eyes. "Hey, I'll protect you Caleb."

There was a pause before you began laughing and throwing a tablet at Ahsoka. "Come on Ahsoka, if you are so willing to destroy them, do it!"

That earned a batch of the unfinished reports being picked up by the Force, from Ahsoka, before they were dropped on you, the neat pile they were in clattering across the floor of the Archives.

You were playing with the reports like children.

Maybe it was because you were. And it took now to realize that you did not need to stress about the horrors of the business of adulting. You needed to be things.

A few minutes passed, you all finished destroying and throwing around the tablets, and began to clean up.

"Hey Laron, what's this?" Caleb showed a tablet that was cracked. "I uh, that looks Huttese?"

You looked at it and saw that, yes indeed it was in Huttishe. And what you saw was insane. "What the kriff?" You turned to Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, forget everything, look for anything in Huttishe, and mark them down."

"Why?" She asked.

"Because the Republic has been stealing money from the Jedi to pay off the Hutts." You stated.

"Wait what? That's insane, how could that be, the Jedi Order doesn't pay any taxes, nor are there any agreements for the order to pay bribe money?" Ahsoka stated.

You then turned to Caleb "Bring me back the condensed expense reports from the last two hundred years, and focus on only items that are in Huttes."

"Wait, what?" Caleb asked. "I don't know how to do that?"

"Find Master Agruuva then, but be quick. I don't think the Orders Coffers can survive any more of this blatant corruption." You stated.
------------------------------------------------

The Council was not amused when you had basically barged in. "Masters, I apologize, but I have important information."

"What is it Padawan Null." Master Windu asked, looking more and more concerned with your frantic movements.

"Uh, can everyone see the reports that my friends are handing over?" You asked as Caleb and Ahsoka handed over the pads of your findings.

All the council members soon had datapads and were reading through them. "When we were looking through the orders present taxes, we noticed irregularities, and then blatant bribery and corruption in the Republic handling of the tax codes. The Republic then siphoned more money than it was allowed to by the Orders Charter, into a secret account. Said account was used to pay off the Hutts."

That made all the councilors look very nervous, and then to Mace Windu, whose hands were shaking, first in outrage, then in anger. "How long?" He asked.

You and Ahsoka traded a glance. "Well, from our preliminary findings… 300 years at least, as we know for certain.." You said.

"It was brokered by a Rugess Nome when he was a consultant to the Chancellor when he was designing a new fighter for the Judicial's," Ahsoka stated. "But we suspect it is much longer within previous administrations. Because these irregularities have been going on, according to Caleb, for almost a thousand years."

The Council then traded glances. "But that evidence has not been substantiated with Republic records." You replied.

There was silence. "Padawans. You have done a great service." Master Windu stated, calmly, despite his anger bubbling underneath his demeanor. But it was not anger coming from him in a dark way, but he was focused. Determined. A force not unlike the force itself. "We must discuss among ourselves."

And you left without a word, fearing that your presence was not wanted
-------------------------

After a meeting with the Chancellor, things changed.

You knew that from the fact that the Ebon Hawk was being refitted with more modern blaster cannons and a new hyperdrive that wasn't prone to breaking down. "I thought you said we would not refit it because we lacked funds?" You asked the hanger master.

"Republics giving us more cash. No idea why."

There was also one more thing that changed.

"Hey Laron, are you the Accountant like Kenobi is the Negotiator?"

Oh no.
------------------------

Reward: You have discovered the Republic has been illegally taxing the order to bribe the Hutts.

The Republic taxes have been suspended due to… quite literally them stealing from the Order, and are trying to get the Order's money back.

There is also a tone of Jedi Ships being upgraded.

The Ebon Hawk has been upgraded with lots of new weapons, shields, and engines.

The Hutts lose billions in Bribe money.

The Young Jedi have been placated for now, but the need for reform remains.

ANL Enjoy.

The Galactic Rumor Mill 2: The Offensive Across the Galaxy
The Galactic Rumor Mill 2: The Offensive Across the Galaxy

The Galactic Republic:

The Jedi Order:D100 => 82

The Jedi Council has come to the conclusion after months of debate, to wish to rejoin the Clone War, and take part in the campaign to defend the republic.

And while many within the order, particularly among the younger Padawans and knights of the Order continue to clamor for a so-called Army of Light, and a larger say within the stratum of the War itself, those clamors have grown silent after it was revealed that the Republic had been siphoning millions, billions of credits from donations and what was offered by the Republic from numerous treaties.

The many relationships and secrets that were made have harmed it. The Jedi themselves still wish to defend the republic.

But they have claimed that the relationship with the Republic will change after the course of the war.

And that after it, the relationship between the two entities will change to a far more… different partnership.

But the Jedi themselves are eager to strike back at the Separatists after they lost so many.

Reward: The Jedi are back in command, and not a moment too soon.

The Grand Army of the Republic:D100 => 30

The Army of Clones was almost caught completely off guard at the massive blitzkrieg that occurred when the Separatists broke through the defensive corridors that were the battle lines.

The Clone Army was pushed to the Brink.

The Volunteers:D100 => 59

And in the end, it was the Volunteers that held the Line as the Clone Army regrouped, and made a greater defensive line deeper into Republic territory.

The Third, and Second Legion, alone, stopped the entire Separatist Offensive, at three different points, despite all the casualties that they suffered, and the number of units that were, for a time, stranded on planetside without supplies or support, facing down orbital bombardment.

It was barbarity, but even in the great number. But despite the horror, the legions held. And in the end, many units were able to escape.

And the history of units that would serve forever in the republic, was reborn again.

Reward: The Legions held the line, and in the ned, not only gained the fame from the defense but respect from the clones, as their equals.
-------------------------------

Chancellor Organa:D100 => 65

To the Citizens of the Republic, and my fellow countrymen,

Today is a solum day, a trying day for our Republic. Separatist forces under the command of General Grevious and Savage Opress have taken control of key hyperspace and star systems, sending many worlds in the Outer and Mid Rim under siege.

We will not let these defeats weaken our resolve, nor damper our will.

The REpublic has faced worse. We have fought them in Space, on Planets and deep ocean worlds, and on the most hostile lands imaginable.

We have faced them without the Jedi. And we have faced them with them as well.

We will fight them, and we will be victorious.

Be we are together.

May the Force be with us all."

Reward: Bail has given a speech that has given hope, even with the great offensive of the Separatists have given confidence to their enemies.

It also saved his career, barely throwing off votes of no confidence.

The Senate:D100 => 24

The Senate, tried as they may push for a vote of no confidence in the Chancellor.

But many of them could not understand that the man who was now their leader was soft-spoken. Quiet, and above all else, not your average politician of the Senate they were used to. He was like Volorumn during his first year.

And even Palpatine in his first year.

Energetic, but above all else, a man who understood what his citizens need.

They needed not just a chancellor, but a leader that could see them through the dark times.

Perhaps not a symbol, but something that the public can face. Can rally behind.

Like the Hero with now fear. Anakin Skywalker.

Reward: The Senate tried to impeach Organa.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The Core:D100 => 72

The Core are emboldened to stand and fight.

The Mid Rim:D100 => 89

Meanwhile, in the Mid Rim, there are many planetary militias that are now fighting fanatically to defend their homes.

So many that the Separatists have called in their forces from garrison duty and new factories going into triple overtimes. But there is hope.

Kashyyyk has thrown off the yoke of the slavers that had been stealing their own.

And they have put the invaders on the backfoot.

Naboo, for the second time in nearly twenty years… is under blockade and suffering from a grave invasion. But with the Gunguns and their security forces, they have prepared.

Reward: The Mid Rim has numerous worlds under blockade and suffering from the tip of the separatist's spear.

But unlike other words, they find that their occupation and… liberation, are not welcome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Outer Rim:D100 => 77

Many words in the outer rim fell in the month before the Separatists were stopped.

But many more remained fighting, tying down millions of droids in garrisons to stop the riots.

The rebel groups.

And of course, just the average citizens that did not want this war on their doorstep.

The Separatist's occupation only made their hatred for many of the organized governments of the Galaxy grow stronger.

Reward: The outer rim is rioting and civil disobeying many of their new masters

They are horrible. But the Outer rim burns.
------------------------------------------------------------------

Unrest Roll:D100 => 55

The Republic citizenry has many words to say.

There was so much wrong with this Galaxy and after the numerous defeats in the Outer and Mid rim.

They are growing tired of this war.

They want it to end.
----------------------------------
CIS:

Papa Palpatine:D100 => 81

Palpatine has managed his way into securing the loyalty of the Separatist council and turned the Parliament to his side.

Reward: He now has a mandate. To win the war.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Droid Army:D100 => 85

The Droid army grows larger. Their factories on Geonosis are lost, but numerous factories on other worlds have ramped up production, and with the addition of slave labor, unending production quotes.

Reward: The Droid Army grows insanely fast.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

The Officers of the CIS: D100 => 100

The Separatists have hired and recruited many more officers to command their droid armies.

They also created a new Tactical droid, that will be connected to all the others, to give them instant feedback.

They will grow smarter every battle.

Reward: The Officers corps of the Droid army have a significant upgrade.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Zygerian Empire: D100 => 34

Queen Mera looked at the expense reports. "We have lost how much?"

"Twenty Thousand slaves in the last two rotations. There is a force that is fighting our ships, and we cannot give our slaves to the Separatist's markets. Who is this fool that wished to fight us."

Her advisor only shook his head. "A Jedi General named Skywalker."

Reward: Anakin is trying to free the slaves. With his army.
----------------------------------------------------------

Unrest Roll: D100 => 8

The People of the Separatists… the Empire, are happy with their new leader, and the victories that will soon grant them victory.

Turn 3: (We Are The Army of Light.)
Turn 3: (We Are The Army of Light.)

You were in front of the Jedi Council, and they were, well… Actually, they were extremely happy. They were not agitated by your lack of progress in dealing with the… Young Jedi that was still causing problems (A minor annoyance above all else, at least they were not threatening the Schism anymore, after Krell and the far more… violent and murderous of the Jedi order that wanted to kill them). No, they were happy and glad.

Especially Master Kenobi, because by the Force, he was rubbing it in, despite being absolutely silent. His gaze said it all. His smirk said it all.

He was being insufferable, and you loved that he was doing it for you.

But then you realized that Master Windu was looking at you. "Masters." You finally spoke, choosing not to give a bow, and skip the decorum. You earned that right for putting in the effort to solve the problems they refuse to solve.

"Padawan Null." Master Windu was not happy. No, actually he was more concerned if the Force was right. "We have received reports that you have failed to bring the more radical movement that has fermented in the order to a more diplomatic heel."

Oh no. "Master Windu, if I may-" You tried to interrupt him.

"There are more pressing matters that you, and others within the Order need to attend to." He stated.

What?

"The Republic has asked for the Jedi to return as volunteers, and Generals again, to serve once more." He stated. "We will be placing it to a vote, among all the Jedi."

Wait for What- "I thought the Council made its decision?"

"We recognized that it was a hasty decision, that needs to be rectified." MAster Windu stated.

"Why am I here then?" You asked.

"We need you to ask the opposition to not see this election as a resurgence or giving into the demands of the radicals. We will be serving at the pleasure of the Republic. Not forming the Army of Light."

Oh. "You want me to make sure things won't get worse?" You asked.

"To prevent violence, yes." He replied. "For we know that the tensions will be very… high."

"I make no promises. Master" You stated as you bowed. "Only that I will try."

"Do or do not." Master Yoda replied as you began to walk away. "There is no try."

You have 12 Actions.
