The Force: Turn 1 Results
[X]To the Chancellor: Bail Organa is the Chancellor of the Republic… not that it means much considering the massive baggage the office is now stained with. It was… still a powerful position, and it would do you well to… meet him and try to make things work. Cost 0 Credits Roll Needed: 20 Reward: You meet the Chancellor. And he is happy to see you. Rolled:
D100 => 70+10=80
You smiled as the Chancellor and you shook hands, smiling for the cameras as you met outside the office. "I am grateful that you are alive Padawan." He stated. "The Republic, and I, are in your eternal gratitude."
"Thank you, chancellor." You replied, as the holo camera broadcasted your grin across the galaxy. It was the little things in life that made things so enjoyable. In fact, just a few months ago, Sheev Palpatine was the man in the office. And how things have changed.
That sleemo sith scumbag was now halfway across the galaxy with his tail tucked between his legs, trying desperately to keep his own alliance alive while you survived his killing blow…
That he also seemed to stop corrupting the force with his Influence and has forced the greatest change to the Jedi order has had since the Russan Reformations.
"I have never lost faith in the Republic, the force, or the Jedi, and May my faith continues to be rewarded by the leadership of those who truly believe in Democracy, and the Rights of all."
You might want to send him a letter, thanking him for all the good he inadvertently caused.
But as the Cameras stopped recording and the pleasantries and reporters have been led away and the office doors closed behind you, you saw Bail's kindly face become filled with relief and worry. "When I heard you had awakened, I was trying my best not to jump with joy."
"I'm glad, I'm also glad you let me meet you." You replied. "But, why did you want me to meet you?"
Bail smiled as he took a seat. "The Republic for a lack of a better word has failed in its duties to protect the citizens of its territory. Of the people, I am now supposed to represent." His smile dropped and he than frowned. "Palpatine has left the entire state in a near Crippling amount of debt, and it is well that the banks have not been deregulated, or the treasury defaulted, and the mounting deficit ceiling continued to be pushed further upwards to stave off financial ruin."
He sighed. "The Grand Army of the Republic and Clone legions are not the same force. The Republic's army has called volunteer units all over the Core and inner and mid rim. And millions have answered. But the Army was prepared for only a million volunteers. We have ten million from all across the galaxy, with varying degrees of skills, competency, and experience. They are not like the clones… They will need and want to be paid. We're lacking experience officers among the lower ranks, and I cannot do anything but do as my staff have requested and allow officers' training to occur, and give three months of training for NCOs that are currently looking for a commission based on competence..."
He shook his head. "I'm sorry I must be boring you now with this politics."
"No, you're just frustrated and speaking your mind, I understand." You stated. "Keep going if you like."
Bail smiled. "You know, Padme always said you were cynical… I'm finding that very hard to believe."
"Perhaps I am cynical of the unchanging nature… and am happy to finally see change." You replied. "Or maybe I just am now seeing things in a different light, I don't know."
"But you are still going to help the Republic?" He asked with a grim look on his face. "Can we count on the Jedi?"
You nodded. "I cannot speak for the Jedi Chancellor. But what I can speak for is for the people like me." You glared into his eyes. "Keep giving people a reason to believe in the Republic. That will do more than any grand victory in this war."
"And you think that I will change the republic?"
"Term limits might help?" you said sarcastically.
Reward:
You have met the Chancellor and have given him hope. And he has given you hope that the Republic will survive the coming crisis… And be better for it.
As it turns out, you being seen alive and well and supporting the Chancellor has allowed him to pass new legislation…
The kind that could save this Republic.
You have a feeling that somewhere, somehow… Palpatine is livid, and really wants you dead…
It must be nothing. He always wants to kill you.
-[X]The Compay Store: The Null Fuels has been leaderless for the last few months. You need to check in and find out if you need to play… politics. Cost 0 Credits Roll Needed: 40 Reward: You meet the company, and find out if the Republic is about to make things worse. Rolled:
D100 => 5+10=15
What you learned was the following.
Null Fuels was in a bitter battle to remain independent from the Separatist corporations, particularly The Trade Federation, Czerka Corporations, and even the Banking Clan.
Your near-death has spiraled the company into a very dangerous legal position where they could not continue with business as usual.
Even with you still alive, it would mean that you would now have to wage corporate war on private entities. And as a Jedi, you were not legally able to do that.
Failure:
The Null Fuels, along with the Ten Percent market share of the hyperspace fuel is in danger of being absorbed by entities that do not hold there, and by that meaning… The Republics, best interests at heart.

-[X]The Stock Market: Oh… The Company wishes you to participate in their investment meeting… You can't really refuse… not without looking bad. Cost: 10,000 Credits. Rolls needed: 100% Reward: You go to the Market. Rolled:
D100 => 1+10=11
To describe the entire Market as bad was an understatement.
The entire market was closed and even with your connections, both in the business and political world, they would not let you in.
Or so you thought.
You had been able to only buy some shares of Null Fuels, on the open market, and to cement yourself into a nice 49% hold of the company itself.
Almost 50%...
But not enough.
-[X]The Jedi Schism: The Jedi are at a crossroads. One that you cannot stand by and allow others to work through. Roll needed: 0 Reward: The Jedi Order is scared and afraid. But even with the Padawans screaming for an Army of Light, others have ideas far less radical. And then there is you… the appointed leader of the Padawan Resistance. WHY? Rolled:
D100 => 96+10=106
Well, you can certainly say this…
Why did the Council see fit to make you the one who had to deal with this!?
Because why were they blaming you for all their problems, you just helped a friend!
Anakin, you should be helping me!

-[X]I am the Force, and the Force is Me: You want to feel the force, meditate, and feel… how much the galaxy has changed in the time you were asleep. Roll needed: 70% (30>) Reward: You feel the Force, and The Force Feels you. Rolled:
D100 => 98+10=108
You smiled as you saw the Father. "Oh… It's you again." He said with a groan. "You are worse than that Skywalker in some ways did you know that?"
(Continued in: The Force And You.)
-[X]The Master and Apprentice: Master Kenobi gave you a hug and you felt the tears on his face. "I thought I lost you Laron." He said with such warmth that it reminded you of… your first master. Rolls needed: 90% Reward: You spend time with Master Kenobi. Rolled:
D100 => 68+10=78
To describe the feeling you felt seeing Master Kenobi again was… well like trying to describe the living force. It was indescribable.
The hug he gave was like a father that had seen a miracle, and in a sense, he did. You both held each other in an embrace that, if there was anyone around, would have deemed inappropriate.
You disagreed. Master Kenobi disagreed.
Anyone with a heart, which was anyone who was not named Master Windu and those traitorous one hundred Jedi that left… would as well.
There were some things that could only be felt through the force, and that of an understanding between two people who cared for one another.
Master Kenobi was not your father, nor you, his son. But nothing matters between blood, for a relationship, was just two people understanding one another.
And you understood that you cared for each other so much, that there was nothing in the galaxy that would stop you from having that kind of connection.
"I thought I lost you Laron." He said with such warmth that it reminded you of… your first master. But it was different. So much different.
"I thought I did too." You said, trying to find… something else to say, as he let go.
You both then took a step back to compose yourselves. "Master. I have… so much to talk about."
"Then let's talk my young Padawan." He said with a smile, sitting down.
And you did.
Reward: You spent time with Master Kenobi.
