Gradually increase how much she is aware of around her while she dreams to simulate what life will be like if she wakes. That way she's less likely to break if she does wake up! After all, you can't save her if she gets control and then can't defend herself, and you do want to learn from her!

while Barad-dûr is somewhat off theme, it is maximum awkward and traumatizing while still being functional.

Flying tree with a death laser and a supercomputer. Yes please. Also let's make sure our host doesn't go crazy if/when she wakes up. Plus she might give some cool ideas!

I count out votes by hand; one of the benefits of this is that I usually get to avoid outcomes that most people don't want.

Translation: There'll probably be a tie-breaker vote between the two tree-votes if (Flying Tree+Ground Tree > Tower) by a significant margin.

Just calling the Simurgh "Terror Drone #7" is going to scare people, since it means there are at least four more Endbringers.

Also, this quest is clearly missing the 'halping' tag

....Damn it, we shoulda chosen our costume to let us pull off a fedora, or some other brimmed headwear, so we could keep Terror Drone Seven's feathers tucked in our hat.

Or other embark on a Quest for the Most Stylist Hat.

Unfortunately, big ears and antennae get in the way of hats.

A cape ? Some south-american used queztacoatl and other bird to build theirs (cape for the king/grand pacha or whatever the big boss was called). We could do the same but with a dash of awesome! (tm)
