Why does Taylor keep calling the PRT a Syndicate? Is it merely to piss them off? She's an Earth Bet native, she knows they're not the same thing as the Origin System organizations bearing that label.

Because she´s been in the Origin System for fifteen years, aka for literally more than half of her life, and she´s used to organizations being called by that label.
 
I personally sometimes refer to the Ostrons as a syndicate, because they have their own reputation system and rewards. Also, Cephalon Simaris , even though it's only one entity.

When you are exposed to the vocabulary long enough, it's really hard to stop using it, even when you know that others may not have the same meaning as you.

Edit: oh auto-corrupt, you PITA. How Simaris became Somalis, I have no idea.

Cephalon Suda is at most two people. Herself and the chibi-Cephalon who is in charge of giving away the rewards. And yet she's still an official Syndicate.

Odd thought. Does Taynno own an Octavia?

Because I just tried her out with Ack and Brunt and became the angriest bard I've seen

The sheer discrepancy of a fun and cheerful frame going pseudo Valkyr on everyone with a grineer weapon that utterly clashes with the frame's aesthetics was simply too good to ignore


Bonus points if you do it with the Diva skin colored like hatsune miku

You think it's THAT unlikely she'd have heard that song in Star Wars? Really? I can understand it if you'd not bothered to include that, and only cared about her bothering to remember it when she made her Octavia song, But not even having heard it is unlikely in an extreme to me.

I think it's almost guaranteed she never paid any attention to that song.
I think it's almost guaranteed she hasn't heard that song in a long time at time of her abduction, to say nothing of the years that have passed.

I also think you've missed the main point of the post just to nitpick over wording.

No, I didn't miss anything, I'm pointing out that you decided something was hilariously unlikely for no reason.

Sure, it's unlikely she would have made that song into an Octavia song. But the fact that you bothered to make a big deal out of her not even having heard the song means it's part of the main point.
 
So...not sure he has been brought up already but...Umbra?

There is only one of him and since Tayno is the main character I would assume the two of them would partner.

With Fortuna dropping this week on PC, I do have a pair of questions.

First off, will Taylor get her own K-Drive Hoverboard, and how envious will Kid Win be?

Also, now that we know that the new endgame is the conservation minigame and the plushies it rewards, why do I have a feeling this will happen?

"So, the Solari need our help saving the wildlife of Orb Valis from Nef Ayno's thugs and they are rewarding us with plushies?" Taylor asked Becca.

"Pretty much," she said as she pulled out a Kubrow floof. "I have to admit, they aren't that bad loo...OOF!" Before she could finish, she was hit with a flying tackle and soon had a facefull of Vista staring her in the eyes.

"I will pay whatever price and will offer my self to whatever twisted desires you have as long as you get me to Fortuna, now." Vista said, only to pause as she realized she was not the only person who said that. She and Becca turned their heads to see that along with Vista, Shadow Stalker had glomped the Tenno as well.

"What, I can't be interested in savin' animals as well?" Shadow Stalker said as she let go of Becca."

"You just want your own collection of floofs, do you." Vista countered.

"...yes..."

Speaking of, how many chapters and arcs will there be until Taylor's clan gets there. We are 2 arcs in and we seem to be stuck in 4 days since the start of the Chapter 1 up to this Chapter.

She has definitely heard it and my internal geek head-canon thinks Taylor and Danny would have been fans of the movie. Hard to really say if that would fit WB's canon Taylor and Danny characterization though...

I'm going to go with the Hebert family being fans of the movie. Maybe not nerd level, but maybe low-end geek level. They would know some of the more common quotes, like "Luke, I am your father" and "That's not a moon!", etc...

Due to the Warframe timeline cutoff with Taylor coming over just after Lotus ran off with Ballas, no.

She also will lack the newer weapons and warframes that I have since acquired and wish Tayno had...

I will be adopting the recent unlimited Archwing summon mechanic though.

I'm pretty sure her siblings will have a few updates to share with her when they visit.

Yeah, I plan on doing some time skips here soon. That is a problem with a more character driven plot, it can drag...

Her Tenno team will be jumping through the gate to see what their big sis has been up to around the middle of Jan. ( in story )

And...with those out of the way, status update time.

I've been slacking very badly. Sorry. Took some vacation and work has been busy and I've been lazier in between.

I'm going to try to buckle down and get the next chapter ready for beta reading in a week or two or less ( preferably )

It's "No, I am your father" after Luke accuses Vader of betraying and murdering him. Though she wouldn't be the first to misremember.

I don't know if this question has been thrown out there but will we see a Nidus frame show up any time. Its been a while since I've checked this thread.
