Space Ninja Summer Camp ( Warframe/Worm )

Oh yeah, a little extra bit regarding Contessa's POV.

My first pass on it was titled Path to Popcorn. I imagined PtV simply giving up on trying to Path Taylor or anything related to Taylor and suggesting Contessa get a bag of popcorn and watch the show.

Well, that seemed a little [entertaining] silly and "we" can't have silly in this story! No sirree!

2nd pass on it was her PtV just tossing out random numbers until she passed out with blood dripping out of her ears.

3rd pass is what you all read. I hope it meets with some level of approval.

So, did Dragon just delete the real Taylor from ALL the databases? Because it seems like that's what happened.

It's funny how a simple fanon translation error can turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Also note, that Taylor no longer sees herself as a Human on Earth Bet, but rather, as a Tenno visiting Earth Bet. She is a guest and a stranger all at once, and rules and worries that come for those rules are just secondary concerns to her goals.

Sooo, does Path to Getting Dragon to Work with Cauldron involve putting Dragon in charge of Cauldron?

They were looking for Taylor HERBERT, not Taylor HEBERT.

Edit: Space ninja'd by Frescopino.
Funny or slightly ironic bit of data on the HERBERT vs. HEBERT last name. There are more HEBERT's in NA than HERBERTS. About 10k more and only 6 Taylor Heberts vs. 9 Taylor Herberts. Well, according to the interwebs results that did not match on Wildbow's Taylor.

Well 15 years and a Tenno bodycount will do that. Depending on her Mastery Rank she probably has anywhere from 200k to 500k kills under her belt. Gotta love those Grineer and Corpus cloning banks. Heck I'm MR22, my Grineer kills alone are 375k. After awhile its all just so much paint.

Lotus: You left children to die .....in twenty years......

Taylor: I...........When you say it like that it sounds absolutely heartless.......

Lotus: I survive an insane Ballas to discover one of my children allowing an entire planet's worth of children a slow and prolonged death ssntence as their home world suffers societal collapse from Sentient Wannabes...........

Taylor: I'll take my clan back with me.....

Lotus: not before I spank you personally.......

Taylor: spank me?

Lotus: Yes Spank you and I swear if you go edgy and rebellious like the Stalker You will be grounded for life.

Cause i doubt Lotus would allow a planetfull of children to suffer. Consider how she reacts to a kid in a random colony dying. Alternate earth be damned.

Would be funny if she keeps trying her powers throw up its arms/limbs/tentacles and just give her a 200-20,000 step chain that ends with a pie to the face and nothing else.

Or more likely seeing a teenage version of her with a message:

Back off, kiddo.

I did like the Contessa interlude portion. Do agree that she has her priorities in order with Path to Coffee, and more importantly it provides a nice slow build to the future horror show of when she tries to Path the Void. I have a feeling that once she fully learns about Tenno, she is going to look back at those thinker headaches with longing instead of the nights of waking up screaming...

At her heart, Lotus is a (mom) terraformer, a builder. Hell she's still working hard on the orgian system thats been fucking wrecked with the death of the orakin.

Given earth is still a viable planet? She would be a bit disappointed in Taylor for not trying harder.

Apart of the name confusion, I'm sure that Taylor, even if they didn't found the body, may have been declared dead.

And of course Dragon isn't going to fix the error even if she knows it. Is a thin protection, but all help.

only one issue with the interlude so far. Taylor actualy told Dragon she had a dad who was on the radio with her in the previous chapter. so the question becomes why were they looking for older aged Taylors?

A Call to Action

A Call to Action

The Clan Hall was silent as Taylor finished her recounting of her time on Earth Bet.

"So," started Becca, "There's a big Orokin look a like thing that's dumber than a sack of Grineer, that's going to blow up not just the Earth you came from, but all Earths everywhere."

"That about sums it up, yeah."

"We have to kill it," says Lan, his voice hard. The clan turns to look at him and but he stands strong under their collective scrutiny. "If it blows up the Earth, I won't be able to finish my Arcane sets!"

"By the Void, he's right. It needs to die."

"And I still need to finish grinding out all the Zaws!" added another Tenno.

"And I still need to catch more Norg!"

"And where will we get kubrow eggs?!"

The room goes silent again, as the true scale of what was at stake truly became clear.

"We're going to kill it." Says Becca, her voice flatter than the Eris Stock Exchange and her eyes colder than cryotic. "We're going to kill it, and make its corpse in to the tackiest armor set we can. I don't care that it seeded civilization ending conflict on thousands of worlds. I don't care that it looks like an Orokin. It's going to die so that the doggos can live. FOR THE DOGGOS!"

"FOR THE DOGGOS!"

Skill. When you have a single person that can ghost into a heavily patrolled base and capture everyone it shows a level of skill that a younger person would not have.

Also Father and Mother are 2 common code names so saying ether or a version of them makes them think it is just a code name when they think you have a level of skill. As for why they are common it is that seeing them in a contact list or overhearing them never raises a red flag in most people.

Lotus: ............Your All getting spanked for lack of proper priorities...........Each and every one of you. Weapons? Armor? Pets? All this pales in comparison to the pure and innicent children of countless realities dying all at once.......it's like the war all over again......*Space-Vietnam flashbacks*

Becky: But..........the Doggos? And their puppies.........

Lotus: ..........Be glad you never have to clean up their mess.......which I do......all the time...

Lem: Ah........I knew that Tennowide Kubrow Gifting for mother's day would turn out horribly........

Taylor: Wait you actually listened to what I said?!

Because Narwahl was dictating the search parameters, complete with misheard family name so she's doomed to failure running down possibilities named HERbert instead of HEbert.
Not to mention that Dragon so owes Taylor for giving her freedom so it wouldn't hurt to misdirect authorities away from Taylor. Plus, technically speaking, she isn't lying to authorities, she is simply giving them what she "heard" and translate them as an action.

This[perceived skill] and the fact that the Ivara warframe looks like a more mature female. Well, not a teenager anyway.

The only warframes that I think could be confused as teenager/Ward age are Nezha and Mirage.

I threadmarked the two "Omakes". I thought they were hilarious.

Becca(Nyx) & Lan(Volt) are her sibling's name.

Karl = Rhino
Alyssa = Mirage
