Space Ninja Summer Camp ( Warframe/Worm )

I mean the content does still have a way of fitting in due to how early in the timeline this is and assuming the Sacrifice has yet to happen, the Tenno may be able to use Earth Bet as a safe haven from Ballas' empire when things go to shit. They'd be able to regroup on Bet, and even if not all Tenno are there, they could at least have a good portion of the Tenno be there in case things go south in the Origin System...which we know is going to happen. Whether Taylor is the one to go confront Ballas and Erra when the time comes is up in the air, but...at least there will still be Tenno ready to sneak back into the system to quietly wreck Narmer operations.

I'm going to try and tiptoe around this to avoid spoilers but it isn't going to be easy so apologies in advance if this is clear as ditch water.

(EDIT: Actually if you haven't played the New War and don't understand then I don't apologise as it's working as intended!)

If that asshole does his thing then Taylor is probably never be rescued. We know that the effects of drawing on the natural laws(?) involved are limitied to those involved or more likely the action using those laws was very finely calibrated because otherwise the steps that were taken afterwards to solidify control would be unneeded. Given the initiator's temperment it is likely they didn't want the competition that a more wide sweeping effect would restore.

Therefore she becomes like being(s) manifested via eternalism/Duviri Paradox meaning that there are either two of them or only one and she is trapped out of play until/unless that paradox resolves as in the source material.

Alternatively we know from Lua Spy Missions that the Void allows full on Time Travel with no (yet) canon proscribed limits. Taking that and Eternalism to be true there must have been a Taylor that arrived in the origin system early enough and in the right place to be added to the colonisation roster and then in a position to make the relevent choice then and thus taking the canon role in events despite not being native to the Origin System.

We also have a potential situation where we have to deal with CANON Taylor (at 3 different points in time...) Which is a whole different can of worms

It's a mild shame about the content thing. I find it highly amusing to think of the look on Taylors face when she sees stuff like Caliban or Archon Nira. Especially Archon Nira, now that I think about it.

Probably not as the augmented control methods along with Nora and Little Duck's commentry required prove the events in question were only changed in the most limited of manners. That means the abduction by the Grineer would not have been affected leaving it as rescued/not rescued/died to mad Grineer Captain or Crew as the defining earlier event for Taylor herself rather than captured/not captured as that's not affected by the grand high asshole's realignment of the choice he targeted.

A Valid point I did not consider. But it would be funny to consider having at least 3 Taylors meeting. (Captured results in 2 which is left on the Grineer ship and rescued, while not captured has the canon route)

So, I did some digging, because I didn't recall Umbra being mentioned. The Sacrifice quest released June 15th, 2018 with Update 23. Given that this story was began being written back in January of that same year, I'm guessing anything from that update and onwards is off the table until Taylor heads back to the Origin system.

Still waiting for a new chapter.

But life goes on, my job is demanding more and more from me so it's kinda annoying and this heat is killing me, not even getting into how my umbrella broke today so no more shade for me.

Dude when this started I just seriously started College now as of a month ago I've graduated.

Still waiting on that new chapter too.

Great, seeing this thread alive again burned a scene into my brain. Now I must inflict it on others.

PRT Sergeant James Munroe walked through the Docks. Some of the local snitches had noticed something strange and unusual in his former domain, and called him. dockworker he once was, Munroe knew the place like the back of his hand. Strange and unusual was unfortunately his wheelhouse since his daughter had gone missing, and had only gotten more wheelhousey since she triggered. Now Munroe was thought of the go-to guy for unusual happenings among the erstwhile dockers. Only thing faster than light is a good rumour.

The source of the weirdness was revealed to be both simple and horribly complicated. A bunch of what looked to be very similarly dressed homeless people had set up stalls out of the way of the gangs and the cops in an improvised market. Even out here in No Man's Land, there were already curious patrons wandering between the stalls. Not too unusual, but the things they were selling? Hoo boy.

"Powders and dyes, newly arrived from the Eurasian Zone!"
"Your future laid bare in a drip of blood!"
"That money in your sock, Pedlek, is for bail!
"Swazdo-lah! How can I help you?"I
James pulled up to the, to him, most egregiously strange stall. Some things, like the man selling birds, or the girls selling rolls of meat, he could deal with. But this? No, he was many things but James Munroe had lived in Brockton Bay his whole life. Before he was a trooper, he was a docker. Before that he'd worked the nets. He was, first and foremost, a man of the sea.
"What is Poseidon's name is that thing?"
" Aaah, you come to Fisher Hai-luk because you recognise quality! Yes, yes. This, dear customer, is the King of Fish! The Mighty Norg! " The alleged fish was the size of James' torso.
The Mighty Norg looked upon James, beneath his swelling brow and through his dangling fins. James looked back upon the Mighty Norg, beneath his cap and through his mirrored shades.
"I am not paid enough for this."
