Sergeant Harmut decides on going to the south, using the natural cover to your advantage. He also decides to try coordinating with another squad, led by a Sergeant Galadriel, who agrees. With your preparations complete, you set off through the woods, heading off to the Grounds.
The approach...
(d100= 41+10(Squad aid) = 51)
Was a bit shaky, but nothing truly endangering. Just a few patrols coming a bit close for comfort.
Going through the first half of the woods...
(d100+10(Squad aid)+5(Shrubbery) = 66)
(Traversal Check! AUTOPASS DUE TO AGI STAT)
Went perfectly fine. Much simpler than the approach, but you will not take it for granted.
The other half...
(d100+10(Squad aid)+10(Heavy Shrubbery) - 5 (Waagh field)=100)
(Traversal Check! AUTOPASS DUE TO AGI STAT)
Flies by. From what you can tell, you seem to have gotten rather good at traversing terrain. This could be useful...
(Gained Skill! Pathfinding I: You can find easy routes to travel, even if the terrain isn't the most accommodating. (Autopass Terrain checks with keyword 'Light', 0/100 EXP to II. Can use AGI EXP to Increase.)
The final approach to the camp...
(d100+10(Squad aid) - 10(Heavy patrols) - 10(Waagh field)= 82)
Goes without mention. Soon enough, you find yourself standing above the camp, looking upon the hordes upon hordes of Orks, and you cannot help but shiver. Not for yourself, but for the Guardsmen that could have to deal with this. You have psykic powers, years worth of training, the Physique of a Transhuman, and even more than that. What do they have? Numbers? The Orks overcrowd them. Better equipment? The Administratum is notorious for withholding necessary equipment for Guardsmen for petty reasons, and that's not even counting the general ineptitude of the Governor here. At the very least, you can aid them with what they have, so they don't have to deal with
this. The only question is how to do it. As your Sergeant calls for a plan of attack, the cogs in your brain start to turn...
[] Write-in plan for Objective (Must have elements of scouting and assassination here)
Stat Changes
Pathfinding I: Exists now
(AN: Kind lackluster here. I'm kinda busy packing for a trip, but I should be fine.)
