You're not sure if you can bring yourself to tell her the whole thing, or if she needs to know of a lot of the reasons why those circumstances were so important, but you figure you may as well at least try and explain it. Thinking back, it's not much of a surprise they did. They'd never given up, before, on making other people miserable.

If I had an Evoker before, I... would have summoned something else." Maybe it would have been Kala-Nemi, maybe it would have been a different Persona entirely. You don't know.
