I see a lot of desire to leave Takaya at the mercy of Lavenza... but it seems that very relative sanity has prevailed for now.

...Of course, now there's not going to be any sort of real antagonist in Iwatodai until Nyx shows up, but that could be a couple games away still. Plenty of time to think up something new!

Crest of A Violent Wave- End
There are a lot of things you could do with these two, now that you think about it. The only witnesses are Mitsuru-san, Fuuka-san, Rise-san, and Lavenza, one of which just handed you her express permission to do whatever you want to them.
We could do anything to them, really. And nobody outside of this building would ever have to know.
You have to admit, it is tempting to just let Lavenza take them, even now. But... she's said it's your decision. Whatever happens to them, you'll be responsible for it.

You walk up to the block of ice holding Shirtless, and press a hand against it.
It would be so easy...
"It would," You agree, quietly, taking in the visage that, just a couple months ago, left your Shadow on the verge of a breakdown, and you with a number of very uncomfortable questions to answer. You take a deep, shaky breath, before taking your hand away. "But I won't. I'm not that kind of person anymore."

You say those words, for the first time utterly certain that what you're speaking is the truth.

You're not going to do that. That's not who you are. You don't need to hurt someone over a mere possibility, especially not one that is literally lifetimes away. That's not the person you've chosen to be.
It's something that I almost forgot.
"Lavenza-san, do you know if Mikage-Cho or Sumaru City has working jails for Persona Users?" You ask, your new-old realization sinking in, settling in your bones, your skin, a timeline's worth of old resentment being shoved to the side for the sake of the path you've chosen for yourself. "I mean, there's a lot of Persona Users there, so there has to be at least one, right?" As these two have shown, not all Persona Users are good people.

"I don't exactly make a habit of examining the rates of Persona-related crime, but logically, there should be."

"Then... we can send them to the police there, and... they can figure out how to deal with them." At the very least, they probably have more idea how to deal with this sort of situation than you do. And it would be better than leaving them to wreak havoc on a city that still doesn't realize their powers.

Lavenza looks at you, her face unreadable. "That is... a kinder decision than many people would make, if they were in the same position."

You shrug. "Yeah, but... they're not me."

Nobody tries to argue with this.

Your dreams that night don't last long, presumably on account of how little sleep you get.

But you remember sitting next to your Persona, neither of you talking, for once, about people dying, or dangerous closets, or other worries.

He just nods to you. "I told you, a while back, to figure out what my name is. Do you know it now?"

You nod, certain of what you've just uncovered, more sure than you've ever been with this kind of thing before. "I do. It's Kala-Nemi." The name sounds right when it rolls off of your tongue, far more so than 'Nemesis' ever did.

After all... Nemesis hasn't suited you for a very long time. It just took you a while to find something that did. Even if you probably would have been better served by opening a book on mythology on some point.

You wake up soon after, and somehow, you feel more relaxed than you have an a very long time.

...Sadly, personal epiphanies don't allow you to avoid things like school. You wish it did, but... sadly, you still have a busy schedule. (Pick up to three.)

Well, too bad we got the same persona as before, but still nice to see our awakening happening in such way. Makes sense too, even though i would really have prefered to have Merlin as one.

We really owe Lavenza a thank you for that. Especially given her certainty that she'd get in trouble for it.

We have Kala-nemi now, and I believe Kn told Shinjiro that he were waiting for something like this before getting one for himself.

Also is there a chance that we can evolve kala nemi even further. Persona's can change a third time when we have a bigger resolution so we could get something like the persona 3 x persona 5 fic where ken is part of the phantom themes and get's another evolution.

Pity Ken can't talk with his therapist, at the moment. But I'm sure it'll come up eventually...hopefully with fears assuaged?

...Sadly, while it may not appear that way at first, a number of incorrectly formatted votes have left us with a tie for Ken's third action. Somebody please resolve this.

Sept. 7-9, 2009
The main annoying thing about being back to school is the ever present need to study. It's like, the instant you step back into the classroom, the teachers expect you to complete a massive pile of papers the same size as your summer homework, never mind that one of them only has a day to be completed, and the other, an entire summer.

After slowly, carefully working your way through a good portion of the pile, going over and over again to make sure there were no major mistakes, you put your school things to the side for the moment, picking up your Evoker instead.

Your friends, for the most part, prefer to test out any new powers they have in the thick of battle. However, being a reasonable person with a sense of self-preservation, you prefer to give them a trial run against things where nobody cares if you break them.

"Kala-Nemi." You finally understand, now, why you long ago got the impression that your Persona was far too blue. Orange is definitely your color. Not that you hadn't realized this already.

"Hama," You start, and that one's about the same as ever. It's a bit easier to get the cards to go where you want them to, and you think this will work on anything that has an explicit weakness to Bless, as well as quite a few that don't. Nice, simple, and leaving very little mess. You don't think there's much more you can ask for in a spell... except for maybe better accuracy.

"Zionga." You aren't sure how this compares to Akihiko-san's version, but it's shocking enough to make your hair stand on end despite standing a decent distance away. You could probably take out a whole building's power, if you were careless with it, instead of just destroying a few appliances.

You're not going to try and light a bulb with it. You've learned that lesson.

"Kouga." You hadn't realized light could be so destructive before, at least without actually having Hama, but you don't really have any complaints about it.

"Psio." The target for this one shatters under the pressure of your mind, even if you're very much unpracticed with this particular kind of magic. Honestly, you should probably be practicing with all your magic a lot more often than you are, but so long as you don't need it for anything other than killing Shadows, this should suffice.

"Cruel Attack." Still the same as ever, you still don't like using it. Next attack.

...Is there a next attack? You don't remember there being one, but a new term comes to mind, and you fling out your hand anyway, Kala-Nemi moving as you tell him to.

"Psystrike Link." You can't really make much sense of this attack. It drains your health instead of your magic, but it also seems to have a magical component to it, and even once it's stopped draining you, the attack still leaves the sense of being incomplete.

...Honestly, you should probably try and look into this one later. Maybe get Mitsuru-san's help. She knows enough about analyzing various attacks that she should be able to make sense of this.

For now, though, you should probably get back to your homework. And deal with the fact that everything hurts now.

One of these is a lot easier to deal with than the other. "Diarama," You state, clearly, and have your health restored. You dismiss Kala-Nemi after, putting your Evoker to the side, for now, in favor of books and learning.

You know what sort of power levels you can expect to be able to use now. This will probably be helpful, at least when it comes to not breaking things that you don't want to.

After what happened with Strega... you didn't really expect you'd be seeing Lavenza again any time soon. And yet, there she is, standing near the mall which is closed because she sort of destroyed the fountain and both the Hermit and Akihiko-san did a number on the wiring. Elizabeth is there, too, and it looks like they're talking about something.

"I see..." Elizabeth says, watching her younger sister closely. "So, it seems like, in a sense, you have thrown your ring into the hat."

"...I'm not sure that's how the saying is supposed to go... but basically." She turns, then, and sees you. "Amada-san. I was wondering if you would come by this way today."

Elizabeth crosses her arms. "By which my dear sister means that she came out here every day until you were able to meet with her. Now that she has made an overt action in this world, to hide away from this world would mean denying responsibility for her actions."
And, of course, that's completely against what the Velvet Room stands for.
"I was not the one who came and knocked on the Velvet Room door, and I certainly wasn't the first to interfere with the Journeys at stake, but I made the choice to step forward regardless, and this is where it led me." Lavenza does not look anywhere near as serene as her words suggest. You get the feeling she's spent the past few days rehearsing them.

[ ] ...Does she regret it?

[ ] You're sorry you pushed her into acting.

[ ] ...You should probably thank her for dealing with Strega, actually...

[ ] Does this mean she'll be around more often?

[x] - You should probably thank her for dealing with Strega, actually.

she probably knows better than anyone what are the consequences of last night (obviously better than you) so thank her, and tell her that you will help her with anything that she needs, that is what friends are for after all.
