"Well... Thank you for helping," You say, figuring you should at least make sure she knows you're grateful for her help. You aren't sure what would have happened if she hadn't come out through that door, but you do know that you probably wouldn't have liked it. "I don't think things would have gone very well if you hadn't shown up."
"I'm sure you could have figured things out on your own, if you had to," She remarks. "But it... was a rather substantial risk."
You think this just might be the closest she's ever come to admitting that she was worried about you.
"Either way, I'm... glad you helped us." You'd never thought a simple expression of gratitude would be enough to get a conversation stuck on a single sentence, and yet here you are.
Lavenza nods, and then her eyes widen. "Oh, and speaking of gratitude..." Out of nowhere, she produces a CD case. "The girl who was with you that night asked me to give this to you, as thanks for assisting her. That is... part of why I've been waiting here so often."
Rise-san... You didn't have to.
Inside the case is a disc with an autograph on it. Well, actually, both the disc and the case are signed- the case with Rise Kujikawa, and the disc with the more simple Risette.
...It comes to mind that you could maybe pay slightly more attention to celebrities than you do now.
"I thought her name sounded a bit familiar," You admit. "Though, I... didn't think it was from that."
"It might not have been," Elizabeth comments. You blink at her. "While she is new to the Dark Hour, that doesn't preclude your meeting in another place and time."
I genuinely can't tell whether she's just talking about the future right now, or if it involves the past, too.
This reminds you of something. A memory you have little to no context for, but which, for some reason, included an older Rise-san. A lot of that memory didn't really make sense at the time, and it still doesn't, but you suppose you shouldn't have been so surprised to see her in the Dark Hour.
Maybe you're just used to the fact that, right now, the people you care about tend to have at least some idea of magic.
"...I'll consider that. Thank you, Elizabeth-san." You'll unpack all the implications of her saying these things later.
(The Social Link between Ken and Elizabeth has ranked up to 5!)
Given how she launches immediately into a line of thought that you think involves a startling number of ice cream flavors, you guess she doesn't feel like talking about that sort of stuff, either.
"A Resolution?" You aren't sure you've heard your therapist sound quite so excited before, but then, it's not like you've done a lot of talking with her about good things. "You... have a new Persona?"
"Well, I'm not sure new's the right word for it..." It's hard to explain, without mentioning the time travel, and this is probably not the best time to bring up the time travel. You're not entirely sure that a good time even exists, that's why you tend not to tell people! "But... that's right. He's called Kala-Nemi." The words fall from your tongue as though you've been saying them for your whole life.
She gives you a careful, silent look, before nodding. "It suits you." These words are more relieving to you than you'd expected. "I suppose your friends must be happy to hear about it."
"Actually, I... haven't told any of them yet." The Navigators might have guessed, given that being able to identify someone's Persona is part of their powers, but you've never said anything about that outright. "There just... it hasn't seemed like the right time." You have a lot of trouble with that kind of thing.
"...I see." You can't tell if she's disappointed with you or not. "You don't have to tell me all of what you realized. A Resolution can be... a very personal thing. But if there's anything you're willing to share..."
Is there anything you're willing to share?
[ ] Talk about how Strega was entirely at your mercy.
[ ] Talk about the role Lavenza played in all of this.
[ ] Talk about how right everything feels now.
[ ] Talk about how much stronger you've gotten.
[ ] Wonder out loud how this didn't happen sooner.
[ ] ...Thinking about it, there's nothing you feel the need to share.
