Let me join in on the praise for the quest. Its really great and I enjoy it a lot (and probably should try to be active here instead of only reading). It also helps that Eggman is my favorite villain ever.
I sooo hope we go and get him and I'll vote for any plan that involves recruiting him. I legitimately am taking a day off from work when Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii gets released...

You know for a secret base it seems every turn someone find it and invaded.
Turn 1 the guy that put Majima data on Starline computer, Turn 3 was Sage(nit that I am complaining), Turn 4 was Snively and Turn 5 was Rouge.
Turn 2 was the oddity but still.
So yku really want to send a Tier 1 Hero in a adventure that is promising to be a mess just to Hire Majima?
No offense but that sound like a bad idea. Metal should definilty go there.
We can use Stone or Honey in a Heart action, peharps even hire the Mirage Express or Dr. Baboon.

I think the train could be a good idea, we get a shell company that include Income and a Logistic Hero.
Alrhough the train issue will be complicated since his problem is pysicological than anytbing else. I am not sure how we can make it understand the concept of death maybe talking with Belle and Sage?
Probably Belle might be the better person to talk with death… I'm not complaining if we get the good doctor though because we don't know how long he's gonna be in that depressive slump… we might new tech if we work with him

Knuckles might not be the top power unit.
That would go for Bark, Mighty and Big.
But he is close there with probably at minimum 30 power with modifiers.
Without counting that if it comes to worst, Knuckles is very willing to break the master emerald so it doesn't fall in the wrong hands.

I also wouldn't be suprised if he has decent Mystic score.
He can't hang around Echidna ghosts and Master Emerald all the time and not pick something up right?
That's why I'm suggesting that knuckles is quite possibly the person who has our second mystical action… it makes sense guardian of the most powerful emerald in the world would have some tricks of the trade
OK I'm pretty sure knuckles used the master emerged to do that

I feel that a clash is inevitable, we aren't going to get anywhere by waiting and hoping. Especially when the Empire has a nuke on their hands which will be turned into a super nuke. He might cause trouble, but the Master Emerald is worth the risk. If we truly can't handle it, we can give it back to him, Knuckles isn't the type of guy to keep attacking when he has what he wants.
Also, he probably has some really good attack traits, and if he attacks us we can have Metal steal one.

It might have been true before the Shattering, but now its "adapt or die" and I don't think that Knuckles will stay stuck to his usual behaviour.
