Like Crabmeat should be deployed against Buzz Bombers and Zomon is pure Brute strength we may need to bring the mech against him. Also remeber we have toxomisters and only our Heroes from Sonic games, including the Egg Clan, can be deployed wihtout been caugh by the Toxic Cloud.

we should capitalize on zomon being a dumbass, try to focus on him and then steal his troop, zeena range attacks and lots of it, with zavok, we rain the hell out of annoyance potshots and whatnot, with metal sonic fighting off silver sonic, while we Eggman get into his darc egg robot and beating zavok with it

Getting Metal Sonic to copy Zavok still remains a goal of mine, but the fact he's sending in Zomon first presents a possible opportunity. The character is dumb as bricks. It might be possible to catch him off guard in the first wave and get Metal Sonic to copy him to get access to the Zetti's Electromagnetism for his own protection later against in the fight against Zavok himself.
But that would eat up one copy slot that we might not be able to get back.

We should Send Conquering Storm and the Egg Clan against Zomon, he pure brute force so maybe stealthy they can take him on while the Pronghorn Sisters as well hopefully could take on Shadow Androids.
We have some flying units and Egg PAwns and Shadow Androids would be easy pary to them in the first wave.

there was a canon omake of Chuck making a plan to have Silver Sonic turn on Zavok during the raid, I doubt it'll be an issue.
