Well, as long as she's in Pierrot mode, Doppel Arke is not quite treating this seriously.

Remember, this is a gal that mind controled Satan through arcane means, once.

Additionaly her magic doesn't get the extra kick unless she drops/deploys Puyos, so there is also that to consider. She's perfectly finde without, but as soon as blobs appear, she needs to get disrupted.

Well, it seems to be the best bet to leave an impression.

As noted, unless Eggman doesn't knocks-out Doppel out of the gate, the prolonged fight would be bad for our well being. Mystic is our lowest stat, and our foe specialises in it. Hopefully Starline attempts count as 'cheering' or 'audience' for that extra boost.

Let's just hope Doctor's willingness to get his hands dirty will leave positive image on Doppel Arle before we attempt to book-it. So far she's holding back with that Pierrot persona of hers, but if she becomes irritated enough that can change very quickly.

Assuming we get our hands on correct one and it's not instance of 'Doppelganger Spin' trope. Illusions are annoying.

That said, locking Doctor's hands on our foe - if red is a real one - would be very bad for Doppel's health. We are bigger then her ( 62 inches vs ours 6 ft 1 in.), heavier then then her (46 to 53kg depending on source versus Eggman's 128), Ivo is deceptively fast (and we probably got faster after training session, he could already keep up with Sonic in short bursts!), knows how to pack a punch thanks to El Gran Gordo memories and such manoeuvrer would probably surprise her.

Add to the fact that as a copy of teenage squishy-wizard, Doppel should have as much physical durability or capability of throwing hands as you expect girl like her to have and...

Yeah if we grab the right one it will most certainly cause some real ouch might be enough to make her dispel the dopples in order to focus on healing.
 
Yeah that's the main thing that got me worried. I'd say greater then 50% chance only ones real and anything on the others is wasted but it's also mond makes it real B's so we still take HP damage until/ unless we prove it fake ( B's is not at quest masters just Bs in the fact the mind can be easily fooled like that)
 
...Okay I'm realizing in hindsight that my plan wouldn't be viable cause of Starline's actions, but questions about the situation.


First, what's this about being able to retreat? And does that mean bringing our bot with us?


Second what are our targets here? No one has really made that clear and spreading them out seem wise if our suspusiouns are correct.

Also does anyone have an idea which might be the real one? I think it's blue due to the flames but if anyone else could find something that'd be great.


Third...why are we caring about stealth? DIdn't we already blow that with the failed trickery roll? Which incidentally means that we need this done yesterday.
 
The failed trickery roll was for the alternative solution to puzzle I think. we ended up using the straight forward version as far as I'm aware, which we did succeed at, so no alarms yet.

1 time getting jumped by an enemy super unit expected to happen eventually, 2 times back to back is downright terrible luck and 3 or more times in a row is a trend and standard set where our adventures will keep escalating eventually reaching the level of having to fight God just to steal back our special washing machine so we can clean sages #1 dad shirt properly levels of ridiculous.

That's the thing most JRPG protagonists do that as part of the main story within that cycle I purposed we wouldn't even get that since our trend with adventures is more like extended side quests.

We wouldn't be the JRPG protagonist we'd be the guy who stumbled into a way to the fight Super Super boss early and is either too stubborn to quit or can't quit so we have to slug it out.
 
To be fair, we did fail a roll at one point enough that this makes sense? the map one, I think? And we have been hinted highly that things have been weeerid
