Yep it's actually mentioned that they ran the geneseed/genetics of a Storm Crow marine they found (points up for quote and link).

Fortunately as far as they are concerned we're Imperial Fist descendants, not Rule 63!Black Legion+Iron Warrior+Black Templar.

It's more that "We looked at it, and this is the only thing that even vaguely resembles what they have. They sure as hell don't resemble any Traitor Legionnaires"

I wonder if it's plausible to pull the Strike Raiders from companies not immediately using them and tack them onto the squadron ambushing the Patriarch.

Well, think about it this way. She has a small chance of dying while serving as Captain too. There isn't much difference in the grand scheme of things, except she's trading marginally greater risk for very very much greater reward.

I know that, but for me she still is our little murder princess, they better take care of her...

Btw, anyone else finds the mental image of a death guard yelling "SNEAK ATTACK" hilarious?

Well, all records of two Primarchs and their Legions were wiped out. So that's another, if highly unlikely possibility that at least a few analysts would consider offhandedly.

Except they were WIPED OUT. Before the Horus Heresy even, so it's probable that the second and eleventh are totally forgotten by even the elites of the Imperium most of the time. They just wouldn't have left enough trace.

In other news, if Lilith winds up joining the Deathwatch for the duration, will she be flirting with young Uriel, or just getting reamed by him in close-quarters combat until the self-taught flaws are beaten out of her style? Or will she be corvid-buddies with Raven Guard and Blood Ravens? (Though if they get along like real ravens and crows it will be...two big birds croaking at a smaller angrier one that loudly caws. So probably quite likely. Caw-Caw motherfrackers.)

They're aware that the data on them is gone, and that two Legions and their Primarchs are completely unaccounted for. Because, you know, there's the fact that there was 20, but only 18 are known.

Hey @Alectai a couple of questions.

1. Based on current information, does it appear that the Chaos forces will be making another attack on the Blue Moon?
2. If Lilith goes to Deathwatch, will she be bringing her wargear and terminator armor etc with her?

1. It's possible, but there's lots of places they could hit right now, pinning down exactly which one they plan to focus on is a losing game. Indagus probably isn't in any danger, but when there's a Greater Daemon in the Sector and a Sorceress capable of keeping it under wraps, there's no such thing as being absolutely sure.
2. Her basic armor and knives, yes--everything else is DW issue.

Damn, well sorry Cobalt but we have to cover our home-base in case said witchy woman sends Big Red after us.

Why is that?
Location in the sector, level of defenses or the enemy already knowing where they are?

Edit: swapping garrison to Azuria, just in case.

I'd also advocate for Caravels for extra orbital support but more void superiority sounds fine
Honestly, anyone who sees Lilith inside her armor is probably just going to assume she's a particularly effeminate looking boy with a taste for absurdly long hair. The Warsmith certainly did.

Only way you'd tell the difference is by catching them outside of it--and even then, only if they're wearing something relatively form-fitting.

In fact. Much as I dislike the direct comparisons, a good representation of what a female Astartes would look like outside of their armor is the Elemental from Battletech. Minus the bulging veins because the Emperor's biotech is vastly better and doesn't need to look like you're ridiculously roided up--you're huge and muscled but it looks perfectly contained and healthy, rather than "Good god how do you exist?"

Maia being skinny is because she's about 80% bionics right now, and spent the few years before that wasting away in stasis. Lilith looks skinny compared to some others because she was a bit on the small side and was borderline on the age limit when they started shoving ceramics and special organs in her so she had less time to grow, but she's still 6'6 and can dead lift close to a ton even outside of her armor.
So Medea is the short one?

Front page says she's 6 foot tall.
Mind you, the risk to Azuria is vastly greater than the risk to Indagus.

Not necessarily high risk, but it's significant enough, while Indagus is mostly as a "Well, if they get lucky" button.

What about Revanche? It's not on the garrison list, close to Cynosure and the place where we build our ships.
The fact you need to ask that question means you haven't been paying attention.
It would help if the front page map got updated.

I know they were already attacked by the Dark Mechanicus though we crushed their entire Strike force and it was mentioned that they were pulling back and reassessing their strategy.

Yes you do note that Baron the Warsmith has ties to them but it appeared that he was invested in converting/controlling Forge Pollux.

If I am not wrong, Indagus should be relatively safe because it didn't apear in the imperial's maps...
And chaos' maps are probably based on those.

We got to remember that the only ones that ever showed up there were those cursed eldar...

Note to self: remmember to kill some space elves once this whole thing is over.

[x] Assassination: Morban thePatriarch: Morban the Patriarch has been enticed out into the open in pursuit of the Deathwatch Strike Cruiser that successfully infiltrated Jerichon and razed several of his pet projects. He's not very happy about this--but it does mean that he's outside the umbrella of his allies. Killing him will eliminate the chance of effective biowarfare attacks, and potentially disupt cohesion among remaining Dark Council members. (60% Chance of drawing him to battle, Deathwatch Team Present, First Company and Medea mandatory)
[x] Second Lilith to Deathwatch: Lilith will gain an enormous amount of combat experience, with a moderately good chance of acquiring a Legendary Skill. Deathwatch Team effectiveness increased, Storm Crow Reptuationincreased. Lilith will no longer be under Storm Crow command for theremainder of the campaign, smallpossibility of being killed in action.
[x] Spellbreaking: Magic must defeat magic... More or less--though steel isprobably a fair substitute if you have enough of it. That being said, more efficient counterspells probably exist, and you simply need to develop theright psi-patterns to implement them.(11/30 Completed)
