    • Ok I give in for the Warhound titan ah well hopefully next turn we can leverage sif stewards of baldur to give us atleast the reaver stc for our pretty much godsend help in there victory in the schism cause without us they would have definitely lose in the war.

I want to start researching a Astartes Battle Cruiser and the Mars-class is the ideal starting point. Large amounts of guns and large amounts of launch bays. Its the perfect template for future upgrades and changes.

    Upgrading our strike cruisers with this as a template could be big, better Macrocanons range and strength, more launch bays, the dorsal lances and the nova canon, we may have to sacrifice one of the launch bays to fit a company of space marines, but it would still be worth it I think ok so tentatively the plan would be this

    However, there is the fact that our Titan expert and someone who loves titans a lot @thatguy99998 is currently not online so this may change in the future if he gives a very good argument at least the power armor manufactorum the 2 +50 RP and the 2 HB favors aren't changing that's a guarantee.

    the cost would be an HB favour from baldur I believe or Sif not sure but at least it would cost a HB favor. Soooo next time we board and take control of a battleship, we now know what we will use it for.

    Choosing to worship the God-Emperor instead of the Omnisiah (there is a difference between both even though the
    God-emperor is the Omnisiah or at least one part of the Omnisiah) and choosing to become loyal to the local sisters of battle instead of staying loyal to Mars, most importantly doing both Openly instead of behind closed doors. So Orthodox FW attacked them.

    They choose to openly worship the God-Emperor instead of the Omnissiah, which is heresy by the standards of the Adeptus Mechanicus, causing all of the local orthodox forge worlds (except for Odin who was too weak to get involved) to attack them.

    Changed the Cruisers for Loki to Thor and the Escorts to Midgardia. A balance of loot has everything I want already so nothing changed there.

    We changed the balance of power between the orthodox and the radical forgeworlds, by a factor of two, lost almost no battle brothers or ships, outside of our constructing BB, which we are going to want to keep for ourselves, and we managed to both end 1major fire while pouring water in the form of the Freeboota fire as well. Today has been a damn good day for the chapter.

    Shame about the Titan legion, but give it enough and in a couple centuries the Legio can be rebuilt, Nevermind any dice results from space hulk hunting, like what we got in the Space marine captain quest.

    Looks like turn 8 is open for a strike team of the elite and veteran chapter to go after the sons now is a go.

    This hasn't been mentioned enough but Thor has some reallyyyyy petty motherfuckers. Fuck em, if the BB wasn't too valuable at this stage, I wouldn't want to give them shit.

    I have some interesting ideas we can do to the Warhound once we get the STC. I like the idea of organizing them in squads of 5 with the leader having a modified Warhound Titan using the Atomantic reactor. Im thinking we can have that Titan use a Volcano Cannon and a melee weapon and act like a SGT would in a Tactical squad, except with a really big gun.

    Hey @Oshha, what are the costs of a Warhound yard and the Warhounds anyways? I have no doubt the Warhound yard will cost at least as much as a Cruiser yard but the Warhounds shouldn't cost as much as one. I can easily image a Warlord costing as much as a Cruiser to produce though.

    You don't know, but titan production will be relatively similar in cost to battleship production.
     
    All right, then. Keep your secrets. While expensive I cannot imagine that a single Warhound titan would cost as must as a Battleship. Warlords? Yes, but Warhounds are several times smaller and weaker.
     
    I'm not convinced Titans are especially irreplaceable for a Space Marine Chapter to have DIRECT control over...especially compared with battleships.

    They aren't, the logical best choice would be to take 100rp instead for the 4 points it's just that titans are glorious even though just building one is gonna take a long time and a lot of RP dedicated to it to take, that is if we even dedicate the rp to it and not to other projects.
