[X] Talk with Ami.
-[X] Proper talking now, no drawing distractions.
-[X] Ask how much she remembers before coming to the hospital.
You lift your eyes from the picture and, after a moment's pause, hand it back to Ami. At the same time, you offer your two cents to her question, "M-maybe? I-it... it looks like there is a possibly better ending for her... somewhere at least."
Ami smiles at you gladly as closes the notebook and gently sets it aside on the table, "But that is good enough, yes?"
You nod hesitantly, unsure what to think of that. You take a final glance at the closed notebook before smiling weakly yourself. Perhaps one day? Maybe... but now is not the right time to evaluate this. Instead, you decide to sate your curiosity a bit.
You stare down again, trying to form the question, "A-Ami... H-how much do you remember before coming to the hospital?" Does she remember the witch... Or you? "W-what happened to you to get sent here?"
She seems slightly surprised at your choice for topic and you wince at the reaction. Maybe this wasn't the best idea... Who knows what she must be thinking-
"Hmm, not much... Well, I had had a bit awful time yesterday and slept lightly," she leans back again and looks at the roof, trying to find the words, "I don't recall what I thought exactly, but I was extremely tired and worn so I decided to go for a jog."
She looks back at you with a self-deprecating smile, "I must have overestimated my fitness. I must have run quite a lot as it all goes hazy from there and I'm now here with severe muscle damage from overuse."
So she must have been witch kissed at some point? Come to think of it, you haven't had a chance to talk to a victim of one before. But considering the situation, that seems quite likely. It's not like people just wander into construction zone accidentally.
"You know, Tamiko... It is awfully nice of you to come see me. Especially after so long..." Ami suddenly says, tone somber, "You have certainly grown up well.
"A-Ami... D-don't mention it," you stutter out and rub your neck, suddenly blushing faintly and feeling somewhat embarrassed at the praise. You haven't really noticed any difference yourself...
She blinks at your flustered reaction, before smiling gently and letting out a chuckle, "Heh... But even with all that time, you're still such a moe..."
