[X] On that note, I'm guessing that I should a) keep quiet about my backstory around depressed magical girls, and b) avoid making too much of a mess until I'm sure I've found the Devil. Any other tips for staying off Her radar?

As for all the people voting for ApleJohn, I have to ask why?

His vote has us leaving Mami's apartment? We can contemplate on that later on our downtime. Let Tatsuya sleep on an actual bed for once. We also do not want for Mami to notice us leaving her apartment when we just gained her trust.

Because it's the more…realistic approach of being dumped so much vital information at once? Besides we can write a note (with whatever japanese we know) to tell her we will return, we can also say we felt something in the city that we had to investigate.

One can tell that Ryubey is cooking up something but we are no Hikari so we can't tell what, we may be on guard around him or try to corroborate the more important bits of info he gave us with extreme caution lest Mami goes Tetris.

…I just had a really dark thought, what if we only have left this one month of life? For either both versions of us? Either we are retconned by our actions or our younger version of us is…

I agree with Hannz, and I think apeljohn's vote is quite OOC based on what we have seen of Tatsuya so far. While Rex could certainly adjust it to fit Tatsuya's character in this story, one of the points are rather ambitious for him. In particular, the 'can we help MG/Mami from going Witch' part.

Considering we just met Mami for a few hours, we shouldn't have empathized with her already. We're not PMAS!Sabrina. Our Objective is to kill the Devil, and save Madoka. It has not changed. Heck, we don't even understand our body's reaction during the interaction with her. Tatsuya going Social/considerate towards people outside his Objective is, IMO pretty implausible at this moment.

Realistic how?

Sleeping or getting some fresh air are both natural reactions to getting info dumped. Better we do the former and not arouse Mami's suspicion and lose any amount of points we just gained with her.

She trusts us, but not that much. She is after all, a veteran of the cutthroat business that is Magical Girl-ing.

I'LL COMBINE THE OPTIONS. Removed the helping depressed Meguca thing and the leaving the house thing and any other redundant options.

I don't like this line. Pretty OOC for Tatsuya, the homeless boy with no academic leanings because he was too busy surviving in the hellhole that is "Outside Mitakihara".

I'd cut some more from the vote, but I'm too tired right now. Maybe tomorrow.
 
I don't like the facepalm part. That action is way too absurd for Tatsuya. Ryubey is not his friend, nor he is his associate. This is the second time they met. Different status quo. The best I can say, Tatsuya is wary of this Red QB. So no show of emotion, much.

I'm going to hold the line here. It's a simple idea, fundamentally. Not everyone suffers the same, therefore how can we tell who has suffered the most?

I really want to keep that one, because I think it's important..

Is that really an idea you'd develop, though,when you come from an environment where everyone suffers the same issues of "There's no food, water is acid, everyone is murdering each other, and the universe is disintegrating"?
