You know, I've always wondered why they don't have things like cocaine and weed in Fallout, instead moving towards Jet and Buffout. I'm sure it's probably to avoid issues with real-world drugs. But it's not like pot just magically disappeared. Maybe it went the ways of lions and horses?
i mean, this is your story, you can put cannabis in.

its a shockingly hardy plant, as long as it isn't over watered. Hemp, the wild, not heavy in Cannabinoids kind is a natural radiation filter, too.

Well, sending the Medbot with Johnny means more people are going to see it, so more advertisements. But Johnny isn't Charisma focused so there could be problems if other traders ask him about our bots. Not too mention that Joseph Kidman could try to haggle over the price...

Anyway, we also have to think about how much Johnny can carry. Well, he+ Molly, one Brigid Mark I, and one Medbot.
He has a Strenght score of 7, so with 200 base capacity that would be 270. So that +280 from Molly, 270 from the Brigid Mark I, and 210 from the Medbot. All in all, that would be 1040.

What we have to sell:
  • 8 Pipe Pistols, worth 200 Caps and weighting 33,6
  • 2 Raider Armor, worth 92 Caps and weighting 38
  • 1 Leather Armor (Missing Chest), worth 36 Caps and weighting 8
  • a variety of Chems, worth and weight depend on what we sell
  • 6 Eyebots, worth 4500 Caps
  • 4 Medbots, worth 4200 Caps
We want to buy the stuff Johnny needs and Circuits/Adhesives.

Huh, I don't think we have to worry about carrying capacity. What's important is how many robots we send with him and which Chems we sell.

I think we should keep back some of the pistols for our use, the leather armor can be finished for one of the employees. One example of each of the bots we are going to sell to entice some people to come and buy. We should also mention any kind of mods we can add to them if any. I think we should take several bottles of each of the beers so they can be sampled so people know they work. Perhaps we can work out a deal for Bunker Hill to endorse it for a possible future discount? Bunker Hill is well established and we're just starting out.

As for the Chems we could probably break them down into more useful things. If not, I suggest selling any Jet to remove temptation for our newest employee.

I'm afraid Medi and Radi-Beer are not an option for Bunker Hill. Remember, Johnny is using items he got from Bunker Hill for the research into the Beers (It'll be auto-included, and is using some of Johnny's salary, as he is using Drunken Genius to finish the research.)

I don't think we have a Beer bot left over. Everything we produced this turn, we assigned to our employees so the only thing to sell is Eyebots, Medbots, Robot Repair Kits, and 1 Console Terminal.
Also, we could sell all 8 Pipe Pistols and still have some weapons left in storage. (2 10mm Pistols, 1 Laser Pistol, 1 .44 Pistol)

But, yes we probably want to break some Chems down. Psycho could get us some Circuitry and, depending on how it works, Smooth Operator could get us some fever blossoms for the Hydrophonic Chamber.

  • Joey has a Jet addiction but he tries to quit, so I think we can sell those. We might want to research Jet, to see if we can replicate the slowed perception in RoboBrains for better aiming, but the stuff is simply not that useful.
  • Mentats, we want to keep because they boost Intelligence/Perception. Going by some New Vegas/Old World Blues Lore; we could even use the stuff to boost RoboBrains.
  • Psycho/Psycho Jet. We probably should recycle the stuff to get more Circuitry.
  • Orange Mentats. Those only boost Perception, not Intelligence. Could still be useful for Ophelia, while she explores new places.
  • Smooth Operator. Useful if we want to sell/buy stuff. We probably should recycle one to get a few fever blossoms, so we can produce more of the stuff.
  • Buffjet. Not very useful, we could either sell it or recycle it into Buffout and then use it to make Fury. That could be useful for Ophelia.
  • Overdrive. Recycle the stuff to get more Circuitry.
  • Daytripper. We might want to research this if we can't make more Smooth Operator. Less effective for selling/buying things but it still gives the 3+ to Charisma.
We might want to add the Buffjet to the things we sell, but otherwise, it's fine.

Scavenge Team - Neon Pete's: Clear The Rubble

Normally, you don't leave the Headquarters very often. Mainly because you are spending a lot of time on various research, creating and examining robots, and reading Pre-War classical stories. However, when the Scavenge Team tells you that they have found something of importance, and most everyone is gone, you decide to look at it yourself. Besides, you needed to stretch your non-existent legs and do a little sight-seeing next door.

Granted, Andrew might be a bit jealous that he wasn't here to see what's inside. He was very interested in what there could be. Who knows what ancient Pre-War artifacts are buried, only now digged up. Why, it could be anything! Or nothing, and it was all a waste of time. But to be fair, Andrew was going after a much more promising treasure in Jamaica Plains. So he'd probably end up with a much greater haul then whatever was in Neon Pete's.

That being said, as you'd enter the room once blocked by tons of dirt, you can quickly see that this was once a storage room. Granted, a lot of it was general old-world stuff anyone could find. But to find this much of it in a single place was still quite the haul!

However, neon signs and general leftovers were usual for storage rooms. What was not expected in what was lying in the middle of the room.


[] It was a small glass furnace, and a weird looking device next to it. Was this something they used to make their neon signs when their original glass furnace broke? (You gain a small Glass Furnace and Fractional Distiller. You can make Neon Signs)

[] It was a bunch of small, spider-like robots, with blue paint and a red star. These are Liberators. Was this place controlled by the Chinese? (You gain 2d4 Liberators of random Rank. You can reverse engineer them to learn how to make them.)

[] It was a set of Holotapes: The Art of Fear. Considering they were next to a lot of bloody knives and clothes, you're not sure you want to know what went on here. (The first person to listen to it gains the Speech 75 perk, based on Terrifying Presence. There will be a sub-vote to see who would listen to it.)

[] It was… exactly what you'd seen in your dreams. (Mystery Box, gained by having 1 or more Psyker Perk Ranks. It could be anything. Would be continued in a Hang Xin Interlude)
